I was here with my wife on 13-Feb-2020 on a Honeymoon Trip The staff suprised us at the dinner with a wonderful cake n table filled with flowers This was movent that me n my wife couldn't forget
The entire staff of the hotel had put in their best to keep us us happy even though we just stayed here for a night. The efforts n hard wok put by the entire staff was more like a family I literally had Tears of joy Wonderful place n best hospitality for me this place was more than a 5 Star hotel. Worth of every penny you pay… thank u guy it means a lot for us.

Family run, staff friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very clean and the view from the roof terrace at sunset is unforgettable. Rooms large and spacious with comfortable beds.

It’s an eco friendly hotel overlooking ancient Tissa lake in historic Tissamaharama. It has 22 luxurious rooms with amenities such as swimming pool, lift, rooftop Resturant and bar. Magnificent views of Tissa lake, Tissa and Yatala temples and many other scenic attractions, fantastic sun rise and sunset from the view point at the roof top. It’s 360’ view. 200m away from hotel You may experience a colony of flying foxes lives in fain trees. Explore the surrounding of the hotel by your self using trails which takes about 1 to 2 hours.
Ideal location for excursions of Bundala, Yala, Udawalawa national parks, Wirawila bird sanctuary, bird research center at Hambantota, Ridiyagama safari park and mirijjavila botanical garden. At Tissa, Debarawewa and Wirawila water tanks you can watch and capture beautiful migratory birds including aquatic species. Ideal place to get an idea and experience of rural village life. Could go through paddy fields, coconut plantations and traditional vegetable farming fields.
It also could visit Kataragama Temple, Situlpawwa and Maligavila ancient Budhist monasteries, Kirinda historic ancient temple and Ella scenic view area.

It’s located in a nice location, friendly staff, great hospitality and great food. We enjoyed our annual trip to Kataragama staying at Rain tree hotel. It has nice view point at the roof top. 360 view looks amazing.

The worse place ever, dirty comfortable, bad food, a/c not working, the pool it a jock omg soo bad, not worth a dollar, I found used soap in the toilet and it was rapped like a new, worse service I give it _0

Must go to rooftop early morning for a beautiful view. Great food. Near the hotel, there is rain tree which is full of flying foxes. Must visit view the rare species.

Really friendly helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Nice little pool and well located. Great viewing platform at the top of the hotel to see the fruit bats taking off at night while the other birds were coming back to roost. Recommend it highly.

Amazing place to stay in. It's placed in a quiet, green filled area. The top of the hotel has a 360° view of the place which is Beautiful. Also, there is a rain tree close by which hosts flying foxes and several other birds. Loved the rooms as well.

Lovely place in a stunning area. The hotel has everything you could need and the service is excellent. The rooms are very spacious, food is great and the location is simply perfect. Close to Yalla and surrounded by nature and historical sites, this place has it all. When you visit, go to the rooftop after 5PM to see thousands of birds taking flight and getting back to their nests. Loved it!

A new hotel with good rooms and a friendly staff. The time are well laid out and spacious and have all the amenities one would ask for. The swimming pool could have been maintained better. Food was ok. The biggest let down was absence of blankets in the room. When asked for they have 4 breed sheets and said that since the hotel was new they hadn't catered enough. Apart from this minor glitch; we had a comfortable stay.

Very calm and cool place to stay in Thissamaharama owned by a Sri Lankan who lived in United Kingdom for long years. This hotel situated in in front of a lake and most of the rooms has lake view. Also facilitated with two nice banquet halls with the lake view. Also they have a view point on the top floor. Facilities: Rooms, Banquet Hall, Swimming Pool, Restaurant.

The reception hall was great and staff was very friendly. Nothing to say. This is the best reception hall around Tissamaharama Area.

We checked in this hotel on 17/12/2016. We had a great day in this hotel. This hotel was marvelous. The reception personnel were very helpful in advise on what to do in the city. Breakfast were good, will fresh fruits and juices and the lunch and breakfast too. Room facilities were super. An eco friendly hotel. Love this hotel.

Had a marvelous stay in this place. Wonderful Interiors, great Services and delecious Dining too… and must recommend that you will get the best view of Thissamaharama from the top of this hotel. Had a great Time.
