Hideout near una beach, surrounded by greenery, you wake up by lovely bird singing, nice staff, owners are very friendly.

Great silent oasis, a small Natural ecosystem away from the sometimes noisy Road. Lovely owners, nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff. Would Love to come back again!

Nice Hotel with great service. Lots of Animals, lake on the territory. A Place for relaxation. Have been to the hotel since 28.11 to 12.12.17. The Plane was 13.12 o'clock in the morning. No Extra money for late eviction. Organized the shuttle service perfectly.

Such a lovely place! So tranquil and beautiful the rooms are intimate and nicely decorated but a bit small, the bed was so comfortable and the view had a lake with so many trees around where monkeys can be seen. Close to the beach too!

We loved this beautiful place — our spacy room, the balcony looking at the tropic garden and the pool — watching monkeys and birds — beeing close to the busy street and the beach — but still in another wourld. An amazing experience… the peaceful energy of Dunes envelopes you… a perfect place to unwind… recharge yourself… the staff are very gracious and helpful. The beach is just around the corner… it's in the midst of the buzz but once you enter the gates the tranquility and quietness works it magic… Excellent facilities… specially the rain shower was super comfy beds…

We loved this hotel! The street outside is kind of busy but when you get passed the gate it is very quiet and you get in a very good harmony because of a beautiful pond with water lilies and a lot of nice trees. The breakfast is organic and home made! Delicious mango jam! Only two min to the beach which offer many excellent restaurants and snorkling and the Ocean is 28 degrees and so is the air, at least! We were nine people from Sweden staying three nights and I stayed in the bungalow across the pond which had an out door shower. You were able to shower under a palm tree and listen to the birds singing. We will definitely come back to the Dunes!

We've been very satisfade. This accomodation was the best we have been at sri lanka. It was like a jungle paradise, just amazing. I was very sad to leave this relaxing place. The hotel owner and the service-team gave us so much helpful informations and they were very friendly to us. Just a big thank you to all of you!

Dunes presents an idyllic stay for the traveler who favors best of both worlds — while it is a hop and step to the beautiful and bustling Unawatuna bay beach with its surfing, swimming, sun bathing and water sport activities and yet the quiet and peace of an oasis as you retreat to your room at the Dunes. Hosts Jenny and Gayan are warm and feels like extended family! This is our third visit and we will just keep coming back!

Really lovely place to have a rest. Good atmosfere, very clean, big choice of really tasty breakfasts, beautiful garden where you can find lot of anymals during your stay. Exelent english and native russian speaker are hosts of this place.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was perfect, the service was great and the Wi-Fi worked very well. O, and the breakfast was delisious. Thank for the wonderfull time.

This is a wonderful hotel. It is the best place for a relaxing stay surrounded by the sounds of nature. The food is amazing! The beach is a very short walk away. The owners Gayan & Jenny are amazingly warm and so are the staff! I would come here again and stay longer.

The dune captivated us with delicious breakfasts, which introduced us to the local cuisine and cozy courtyard-garden, where you can sit in silence and get acquainted with monkeys and palm squirrels, mangos and hummingbirds — all within 5 minutes of the beach.
