If you want to relax, this is the place. About a 3 minute walk to the beach, this gem of a hotel is like a sanctuary of peace and quiet. The public spaces, of which there are many, are designed with relaxation in mind. A bookshelf offers a wide selection of novels in multiple languages. The breakfast is delicious and hearty. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. The only thing that was unusual was that we didn't receive a bottle of water each day in our room, but being someone who drinks a lot of water, that wasn't an issue as I knew I'd be buying more throughout our stay. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back in the future!
➜ This is the best hotel for all our journey on X-0! Very beautiful manicured grounds, beautiful comfortable rooms, everywhere immaculately clean, cleaning and changing towels every day. It's all thought out. Beach towels are available. Breakfast is similar to most breakfasts in Sri Lanka, but much tastier than anywhere else, and coffee is generally the best we've had in Sri Lanka. It's three minutes to the beach and you get to the cleanest and most deserted part of it. And on the way to the beach there is no garbage from the word at all. Very good location for us as you can't hear the noise of the road and beach parties, and all this if desired in walking distance. We brought from ocean tuna fishing, the host kindly agreed to cook it for us, it was incredibly tasty. Tables are prepared and served in the hotel in Europe. The staff are responsive and friendly.

The host was really sweet. I think this was one of the best breakfast I had in Unawatuna. The place is tastefully done. We took to double rooms. Room space is good enough for two people. The bathrooms could be tiny bit bigger. The real deal is outside of the room, a lot of sitting and chilling space. The place in general has lovely vibe. For off season, prices were little bit on the higher side in comparison with other places.
