I love the central market, yesterday I went to Ricardo Camarena's restaurant, I think it is better to snack in the different stalls. The experience in that restaurant at the pace is not worth what it costs. But the market is one of the best in Valencia.

Two towers with the gate in between. You are meant to pay to get access to top turrets, but no one checks tickets … so you might get up for free. Good to see, if you happen to be near by. Otherwise, there are better places to see around Valencia.

Beautiful settings here for just a visit or part of a tour group and plenty of cafes and shops and restaurants to relax and enjoy the area.

Historical building. Well of Cultural interest in Valencia (Spain). Valencian Gothic style. They are one of the two fortified doors of the medieval wall that still remain standing. The set consists of two semi-cylindrical towers joined by a central body where the door itself is opened, shaped by a half-point arch.
Quart towers are built with lime masonry and edges by the boxed system. Ashlar stones were used in the angles, arches and upper flywheel. Between the two towers is located an entrance and exit to the city topped with arch of half point and surrounded by ashlar, which at the time housed the Guardian Angel and later to host the coat of arms of Valencia
The towers present a cylindrical plant to the outside of the city and are tapereded or flattened towards the interior of the wall, unlike the Serrano towers that are polygonal. The towers have a top part of the promenade, with a ashlar terrace. These defensive towers are barely decorated. In the lower part they have a molding that topples to the ground in vertical wall in the form of sloping slope. The cylindrical outer part is smooth, to make it difficult to access them.
In the part that looks towards the interior of the city appear a series of open rooms, covered with ribbed vaults of ribbed. In the center of the towers, above the arch of the door, appears a vaulted hole that attacked those who wanted to topple.

The tower itself is cool, and I like that you can still see marks from where old cannonballs have hit it. It's well kept and restored. It's €2 to get in, which is reasonable enough. The stairs are a little steep but it's not too far to the top, and there's a nice view of the city. Being a vertigo sufferer I did start to panic on the way back down — to the highest point you have to ascend a spiral staircase but it's really not that bad all things considered! A nice but of history although there isn't much information at the tower itself so you won't learn an awful lot.

It is one of the doors of the medieval wall of the 15TH CENTURY, which surrounded the city of Valencia. The other door is THE TOWERS OF SERRANO, very close,. They're very well preserved.
You can see the impacts of cannon bullets and bullet holes (it has withstood the war of Spanish Succession, the war of independence against the French and the Spanish Civil War. Hence the great amount of scars that are seen on the facade)
It has been prison for women prostitutes and military, it has also been gunpowder. And now historical monument. Where you can climb several flights of stairs, the last of Caracol, to see spectacular views of the district of Carmen and the center of Valencia.

For two Euros you can have a good View of the City Of Erlangen. In Some cases the Walls are very low, so you should be careful as a large Person or with fidgety Children.

Impressive to see a small part of our history with all the impacts of the projectiles that leaves in sight. Essential to go up and see the views from above, both on one side and the other. There are many people out there but few know their history, they should put a sign with a little history, so they do not leave all who pass through the moon of Valencia.

Not so spectacular. In my Estimation, the View that is touristically accessible (Place with Benches and Restaurant) is not the right Side.
Exactly opposite one has a very beautiful View of the Gate, the Passageway and the Dimensions. Unfortunately, there is a busy Road in between. Through Lanterns, Traffic Lights, etc. Also unsuitable for Photos.
Still, have a Photo at: husky. Neo on insta online which has become quite beautiful.
Valencia have not made the best Impression overall. Have visited almost all major Cities on the Coast south of Marseille in recent Weeks and Valencia is performing worst so far. Tip: Montpellier, gorgeous there.

What a piece of our history to everyone's reach. Maybe there's some cleaning left, but his presence is imposing. The doors are also surprising because of their enormous size. Next time I get a chance, I'll go upstairs if I can. Impressive to see the impact of the projectiles. What details!

Impressive tower which symbolised boundary of Valencia many years ago. Well preserved. You can go into it for a fee.

The Story behind the two towers is interesting and from above you have a great View.

Featuring steep stairs (and free entrance), this building is an part of the old defense line of Valencia. Multiple levels let you enjoy different and evolving views, and from the very top you really feel like Valencia is at your feet.

Impressive historical gate, from the upper observation deck of the tower, which by the way leads a spiral staircase, offers an interesting view of the city, even you can see the mountains.

Fair priced (2€ per adult). Offers a good but still limited view of the city. Nice to visit but not an absolut must have since the building offers only limited points of interest. Still a nice historical building.

Very similar to the Torre Serranos. The structure is almost traced although here in the final stretch you find a spiral staircase. The entrance is cheap and more if you take a 3 day voucher that gives you for many museums and monuments. The views are worse than Serrano's. You see the missile strikes of the war. Very entertaining if you go with kids. With 30 minutes you have plenty.

The experience has been great, that a place like this is completely free is incredible. If you climb up to the top you put yourself at a high altitude, it is quite imposing, and the views are beautiful, you can see the whole city of Valencia.
The truth is that it is an almost obligatory place to go if you visit the city, is the best memory I take.

The history about them is very interesting. They were one of the entrance "doors" when the wall existed. It has two shields because the city was considered "double-time-loyal" to Aragon Crown in the war against Castilla on the Medieval Age. In fact, it was one of the prides of the city at that time.

Valencia in Fallas. Lots of party atmosphere. Obligatory to go at least once in a lifetime you can't miss it.
Here I leave a few pictures of the failures we saw. Although there were 381 failures, it didn't give us time to see them all.

Citio incre'ble! Aconsejo a todos visitarlo. It's a wonderful place! In addition to being a historic landmark from the top of the towers, you can see the city!

An emblematic place in Valencia that there is no need to stop visiting. It is one of the few vestiges left of the old medieval wall that surrounded the city of Valencia. It is not in such a good state of conservation as the Serrano towers but it is worth seeing. As a curiosity I will say that it has been the Civil Guard barracks even prison in the civil War.

A huge remain of the town's history that offers a nice view from above. If you're lucky there will be lots of parrots waiting for you at the top.

Torres de Quart. Is truly a historical site. When you arrive it is easy to find the office. After you purchase the ticket for two euro you can leave the office and go to the right when at the bottom of the stairs. The first flight of stairs will take you up to rooftop levels on most close buildings. This is only the start. A second flight of stairs brings you to an upper level with a great view. If you look to your right entering the second level you will see a stair case that becomes two. The door to the right was open. It has a very tight staircase and when you reach the top of the stairs you are at the top of the towers. You can see much of Valencia from the top of the tower. The only thing that is missing is a simple place to sit. I take it they do not want to offer this since people will linger in the tower longer. Bring a good camera and take some great photographs.

Admission 2 euros. Climbing to the top is not difficult. The schedule of visit during the year is always different, in winter for example works until 17:00. I recommend going up to watch the sunset.

Beautiful! Many steps are worth going up for each and every one of them, to go discovering their different stays and to have a great view of the city of Valencia at the end. If you can also visit them with someone who knows the history of why their location, their architecture, the footprints of cannon in their parents. Would be ideal.

This impressive entrance to the old city can be entered free of charge if you have one of the city tourist travel cards otherwise it is a few euros to gain access. The view is impressive and the structure as a whole is well preserved and maintained however there is no access for those who may need mobility assistance.

A ascent to the top level is already worthwhile due to the varied route through the old walls. You will be rewarded with a fantastic panorama of the surprisingly large view level on one of the two towers.

You can climb. Altitude is just enough to look over the other roofs of the house.

Interesting. Highly recommended visit if you pass through Valencia. Place of passage that won't take you more than a few minutes.

It is one of the two doors that remain standing on the wall that surrounded Valencia during the Middle Ages. The birds love them because they nest in the hollows of the cannon that they have received throughout their existence. Nice neighborhood around her.

The Torres de Quart is one of the twelve gates of the ancient walls that surrounded the old city of Valencia. The name derives from their location, because they are located halfway between the centre of Valencia and a town called Quart de Poblet. They have a late Gothic military style, similar to that of many Italian cities.

A place you cannot overlook. It is worth paying the entrance and going up. Very nice.

Historical point of Valencia. There are these 2 towers (point of Reference) in the middle of the streets. You can go up and see everything from the top! Characteristic and to see if you pass in Valencia.

Nice door but not great. Nice to see from the outside and you can climb to see the city from above but inside there is nothing.

These magnificent towers are with those of serranos, the only thing left of the Christian wall demolished in 1850. Well-restored inside and from behind. A disaster ahead, as they strive to maintain the signs of the War of Independence of 1808. Can be improved.

The Torres de quart (quart towers) are an absolute must. For a few euro admission you can climb over a series of stairs including a narrow spiral staircase up to the roof. It has a beautiful view of the city centre of Valencia.

The highest point in the old town in Valencia, offers an incredible panoramic view! Torres de Quart are two twin medieval towers that offer an awesome panoramic view over Valencia's old town. A visit costs only 2 euro but the reward is a gorgeous view and also you'll be impressed by these twin fortress-towers.

The staff were right but it could be more enjoyable. The towers worth visiting. Also with the tourist bonus you can see a lot of historical buildings of the city at a reasonable price if you go to Valencia I would recommend it.

Really fantastic view with entrance for only €2 each (appeared to be free entry at another time when we passed by). Lovely climb up the stone steps to the top of the gate with superb view. Beautiful huge stone archways with incredible stone tiling.

Such a nice place! And so nice that you could go all the way to the top of the tower. The view is SO pretty, and then it's for the price of only 2€.

The top of these towers offered me such a nice view that I could stay right there until the next day. The only thing that maybe would make the place better is some kind of plank with a little information about the building. Actually, there might be one, but it didn't stand out, because I didn't see it. Anyway, if you ever find yourself around these tower, don't hesitate to take the stairs right to the top. It's also free!

Nice place to walk with the family or friends. If you like a bit of history this is a must as it forms part of the old wall that used to circle the city to protect it.

€1 entrance fee to walk up to one of the highest points in the city. It was very picturesque from the roof top and felt amazing to be standing on top of a 15th century building. From the rooftop we took some incredible pictures of the old city, with all of the beautiful churches and attractions in view. Only takes 30 mins to walk around the towers but it's fantastic.

Recently restored, used to receive the name of 'Holder of the Cals', by where you entered this building material, much used in antiquity. Of the two entrances to the medieval city that is still preserved, through the demolished wall, it is the highest and has been used for several purposes: jail, warehouse, and defensive construction. You can visit for a small price and is a good place to start the visit to the centre of the city.

Entry gate to the old town, inspiration from Castell Nuovo in Napoli, was build in 1460. Gothic style building had the purpose of women prison starting 16th century.

You receive for 2€ access to great part of history and access to wonderful sights over old city center. Fence is original and on some parts of gates a little bit to low. If you have fear of height maybe you should avoid this one. Also last steps to tower are dangerous.

Located in a very central location and scandalous, impossible to sleep for the night. You can not stop in the area to unload and the parking is removed. The customer service pretty bad, not correctly reported, and the checkin is done in a completely different building, located about a 15-minute walk away.
