A lovely place to walk, especially for tourists.

The work of Calatrava, it cost 478 million euros (more than 4 times the budgeted amount). The little time of its opening, a heavy rain enveloped him, after a few years, had to close because the trencadís of the façade started to peel off. To this day it remains an example of nonsense architectural paid by the valencian people.

Beautiful place for just walk around and take pictures. Make sure to walk all around. If possible cross to the other side of the passeig and take a look to the wonderful Palau de les Arts. I would have spent the whole day but I couldn´t. Make sure to free at least 3 hours for visiting this fantastic place.

Wonderful and futuristic place in a big garden, it's good walk here.

Beautiful concert halls although from the outside it really looks like an alien spacecraft.

To part of your visual appeal, on the whole, The City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia has a lot of culture, entertainment and fun. Many events held there and no place where you can spend a day in family or with friends as it is located very very close to the bed of the river, the Gulliver's travels, shopping centers, etc.

I was in the Palace of the arts with a guided tour that organize daily (Mon Fri, 8 euros, Spanish and English). The building has an auditorium with 4 concert halls or opera. The architecture is amazing and at times surreal. The visit lasts about one hour.

Architecturally it is a marvel. Only in the difference in heights between a platform and another or floating covers, you can appreciate how complex that would be built. But of course was such economic expense necessary? Surely not.

Nice one but kept in very bad condition. Scaffolding everywhere and maintenance very bad when I visited externally.

It is an exceptional work of Calatrava. It seems that the coatings are giving you trouble. Hopefully the fix for that does not undermine the grandeur of the whole.

The first time you see it in person impresses pleasantly surprised, it is a huge building. You have multiple rooms where it is interpreted from opera to chamber music and all have a sound very good. The views from the garden terraces are a pass.

One of the many buildings designed by Calatrava in the city of Arts and Sciences. This one is the opera house and cultural center for the city of Valencia. Even if you don't have a chance to see a performance there, the building is worth having a look at. Beautiful!

The Palace was opened in the year 1998 in the presence of the Queen. It houses three auditoriums: the Opera at 1750 seats, theatre at 450 and Conference room for 1, 500 seats.
Today at the Palace concerts leading symphony orchestras in the world. Thanks to its unique acoustics is considered one of the best concert venues in Europe.
