Very nice place to stay for its price. Friendly English speaking staff, clean cozy rooms, swimming pool and tennis cort. In good weather from some rooms you will be able to see Teide. However the hotel is situated high above the ocean and city centre so you will have to use stairs in order to get there and to return to your hotel afterwards, which is absolutely fine for me but can be tiring for someone with weaker health.

Rooms are nice but not well equipped for self caterers, basically we have a kettle, a hob, a frying pan, a sauce pan, a cooking pot and a wooden spoon… Would be nice to have a grill and a toaster. The hotel is well situated in a quieter area, plenty of shops and markets nearby but only 15 minutes away from the busy beaches etc, pool is okay and the staff are great. Better than we expected for the price. Can't comment on the food. Ultimately we've enjoyed our stay here so far, a solid 3/5.

Arrivaling late in the evenin I received a very friendly welcome. Everything was explained clearly and all staff at this hotel were very plesent and helpful. My room was very clean with pristine white walls. Amenities in the room were basic, however, there was everything you need for a stay here. On clear days my room had views of mount Teide, is also over looked the pool, which is in a beautiful garden setting; which was very well maintained. Breakfast was included for my stay and there was a good selection of food, something for everyone. The restaurant staff were very polite and friendly. This hotel is in an excellent location with shops, bars and restaurants close by. A supermarket is 2 mins away and the beach is about a 15 min walk. The walk isn't for the faint hearted as lots of steps but taxis are very cheap. On the whole I have very much enjoyed my stay at Teide Mar and would most definitely stay here again.

Its really sad that I had to Rate just the four stat as the Hotel it self was just perfect and all the staff well polite and halpfull, but the last 3 nights of our stay there was a school trip with Spanish kids that kept us awake all night long and day. Overall good and thank you guys.

Unfortunately I found a few cockroaches. Two big ones dead in the hallway, two small ones in my apartment of which one was still alive. You know what they say, if there are four, there probably are many many more. The elevator is smelly. All the time. Like old and sweaty clothes. I had one breakfast. The first day. It was the last. There are many better places to enjoy a better local breakfast. I like Tenerife, but not this accommodation.

Hotel room redone, but hunting for Spanish flies daily… And the chance to be on the ground floor with nice pool view; return given by the Club 3000 following the translation and astonishment of the people at the reception during our complaint. There were no changes throughout our stay, these little beasts galloping constantly on the ground floor… But it was a good vacation when one ignores…

The hotel is OK. Clean in its entirety. Very nice staff. Food good but not very varied. Single room but the insulation is the big negative point.

The buffet is good, the hotel is nice especially the inner part with pool and views to the Teide. Frequented by many Frenchmen and by groups. They don't put shampoo or gel in the bathroom, just soap. It is the first hotel I see where they do not make your bed every day, two or three days left us without doing. Has billiards.

I only stop today, a friend's guest. The place is nice, clean and with a nice service that keeps everything in perfect order.

Never again. It seemed to me an orphanage also dirty.

Very nice staff, good food and functional rooms. Nice location, not far away and not in the middle. Who is looking for absolute luxury is wrong here.

The room was very clean. We had a Studio side street and it was impossible for us to sleep during the entire stay.

I am an Italian tourist who stayed for a week from January 27th to February 3rd and I do not share any other negative reviews on this property indeed I can say that even though the facility is old and needs maintenance the rest is great as cleanliness order and Linen Change everyday kindness and information super varied and great food as well as the buffet breakfast located close enough to the centre valid conclusion to recommend…

Bad, full of cockroaches and unfriendly staff and smells bad.

Half board. You eat the evening hours 19-21 wine water you pay. Immediately key Safe 1 week you pay 21 euros. The TV remote control you have to pay bail 10 euros the TV channels. You see only Rai 3 other Italian channels do not see anything. Including. Channel 5. And Mediaset.

Comfortable, clean, nice room, easy to park… In general very well, I would repeat.

A clean, functional hotel. Those who are traveling during the day and only come to sleep are in good hands. The staff is very friendly. It would be nice if the bar were more comfortable. The breakfast buffet is plentiful.

Large spacious apartments with balcony. Cleaned every other day. Large pool and bar area. Would recommend as long as you are fit and like to walk as it is high up, really is a long steep walk back up from the centre. If you are disabled or struggle with hills this is definitely not the place for you. If you require Wi-Fi you will have to pay for this and it is quite expensive.

Housing quite dilapidated, water went through the ceiling, meals are not varied if you like stale croissants and veggies go there.

It has come in the years rooms are not particularly equipped. I was there for six weeks. Breakfast not special.

Yes it's a tiny bit dated but if you are looking for a basic base from which you can explore the island I can't recommend this place enough! The staff are lovely, friendly and approachable. The facilities are basic in rooms but as far as self catering goes, ample. The supermarket is a minutes walk away and to get to the centre of town is a 3 Euro taxi or a 10 minute walk. Fab location with lots to see and do. Pop over the road to anands store for gifts and there are lots of touristy trip organising places within arms reach. The local eateries are all highly recommended. There are lifts between the floors, a lovely pool bar area and she's loads of info on site. Last day luggage storage is free and easy. Bar is pleasant and beer cheap. Gardens are gorgeous. I've stayed here twice and I'd go again in a flash. I've not eaten here as there were many local places to explore but having seen the food served wouldn't hesitate to try in house. Never had a single problem here. 6/5 stars :)

Good looking place. Double rooms are nice and have enough space. Beds are comfortable. Facilities may be dated, but were clean and in working condition. You have to pay for Wi-Fi, this was very strange for us. Cleaning is 5 times per week. All staff is friendly and ready to help with everything.

Nice structure in a convenient location for all needs.

The hotel was clean and the staff was kind and helpfull, but the breakfast? Where were the fresh fruits (watermelon is not enough). And the late evening music in front of the hotel was more than disturbing. To listen those same tunes night after night (7 nights) was too much. Without music I would have given three stars and if the breakfast were more versatile I would have given four. Sorry about this!

Had a nice weeks break here last week, Clean Tidy kind of modern hotel, pool and grounds very relaxing and hotel situated in a good location near shops & restaurants, Very friendly helpful staff. Its a good 12 mins walk to the town centre & beach. Room was as you would expect from a 3 star only down fall is WI-FI is €5 per day and kitchen utensils very basic, but overall would recommend for families and couples.

Lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Great location with just a 10/15 min walk to the sea front. Tho it is down about 100 steps. Plenty of resteraunts and shoes nearby.

Aparthotel that needs some old furniture renovations, fixed and uneven showers.
They charge for the Wi-Fi service, also for the use of the tennis court, very limited pool schedule.
Even though there is phone in the rooms, they don't give you any kind of information to call even to reception.

We stayed a week in April with my sister and daughter. I do not know in terms of star but this hotel corresponded to our expectations. The rooms are clean and spacious (prefer the views on the pool or the 2nd floor minimum if view on the street), the meals are not gastronomic but very good and varied for half board, the presence of a mini air games is top for the children in the evening After a meal story of having a little fun without needing to go out, the location is not bad either, the taxi that takes to town in 5min only costs 3. €50, and the staff is very friendly. Attention all the same to the pool which is heated only in winter.

Location: Hotel is in a good spot at the top of the resort. Few nice restaurants around and a good sports bar underneath. It's a 15min walk into town and there are a lot of steps, but it's easily manageable. Be aware Puerto De La Cruz is CLOUDY A LOT. We were there for 10 days and we saw the volcano for about 30mins of one of the days… we hired a car and it was brilliant. Drive about 15mins round either coast and there's sun! Food: We only had breakfast and it was average. Eggs were often undercooked, sausages were hit and miss. No fresh juice, it came out of a machine and tasted awful. Room: Rooms are large. As the name suggests, they're more like apartments. Bed area, seating area, table and balcony. Kitchen consists of a hob… so don't plan on buying food for the oven! The rooms are clean, which is great and the cleaning staff are lovely. I think there are a lot of people that actually live in the hotel too… Pool area: I didn't like the pool area at all, it's grassed rather than patio and it was quite long which was itchy. The beds are permanently down, you can't sit up and read which was frustrating. General Hotel: There was entertainment each night but it was more suited for the older audience, but it seemed very popular. Staff are incredibly good and very helpful. Summary: Cheap, clean hotel. Food is poor. Pool area is poor. Location is okay. Staff are great!

It's an old hotel. The worst thing the coffee machine, is milk powder and honestly had never taken it worse.

Awful hotel, stay away. Except from the missing aircondition which of course is a real luxury problem, there is: Hotel room is smelling extremely much of chlorine and chlorine is not good for your health. The beds is hard as rock and the springs are making you skin hurt. The breakfast if you want to call it that was an experience. The bread was bone dry, the sausages boring as h. Laying there in semi hot water, the cheese was sweating etc… The door to the terrace was single glass, that is not holding back noise from the heavily trafficked street outside and drunk people yelling outside. We were awakened at 9 by the cleaning lady never tried that before. I could go on!

I have to say, if I was to visit this place again, I would definitely return to this hotel. It very calm and spacious. I have to say it was a pleasure staying here. From the delightful young receptionist who became a maintenance person to fix our door and upgrading our room on arrival, to the very friendly bar man and they extremely nice night porter, I am delighted to have found this gem on my first visit to Tenerife. Even the accommodation women were very friendly and always made sure we had towels and offered to clean our room everyday, even though I did not want my room cleaned, they triple checked. The location of the hotel is at the doorstep of several brilliant restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops, perfect for my visit. When going into town, a taxi is only about 3.50 if you do not want to walk the 15-20 minute journey. Our stay was from June 23rd — June 30th.

A place to be with the familytime, especially those who have small children. The apartments are from the time of the 80 and 90. But they are well preserved. The menu is not very varied but the food is excellent.

The staff is very attentive they help you in all they can. It's a cozy place. Very nice.

A good hotel. Without much frills, just to comfortably sleep, eat, relax and continue your journey on the island of Tenerife.
For lovers of beach relaxation will be far from the sea + so who find it difficult to climb the mountain are also unhappy.

Cleaning very well. The staff is very good. Everything else lousy. Beds very bad. Lots of heat there is no air and was in the sun almost all day. Swimming pool water seemed thicker and the state of the pool check dust. And the funny thing if you wanted to watch TV you have to pay and it is not cheap. Breakfast very poor, the orange juice is water with powders and of poor quality. I don't think that again.

This oldie but well taken care of and has everything that is needed. That is, if the beach is 10 minutes down and 20 upload. This high up.

It is not the hotel of our life, but it is nice, is well located and has many amenities nearby. The rooms are good, no-frills, with a kitchenette. The bathroom is clean and well equipped and the service of food is okay. What a more pleasant swimming pool and the tennis courts and you can rent rackets and balls.

Well I can say the price is very expensive because what affects us very much, putting new innovations for a Canarian village fair and quality, thanks a lot and more than 20 euro day non-payment. OK and thank you.

Apartmentos Teide Mar, which we booked through Expedia, proved to be a fairly decent place. The room was pretty standard, with a lovely view of the snowy peak of the Teide volcano, as well as the pool downstairs (much better than the opposite side, looking out on to the street), and provided two large, if not rather firm beds, simple cooking facilities for making your own breakfast, and enough room for the two of us. The hotel seemed to be occupied by a number of guests from different countries, but had the majority in older couples from Germany or Spain. The surrounding area around Teide Mar seems to reflect this, with many of the nearby restaurants offering German beer and food. It's also worth noting that Teide Mar is up on a hill that overlooks Puerto De La Cruz, the main town, but means a bit of a steep walk back up if you head down to the beach (a taxi back was just above three Euros). The 'Apartmentos' bit comes in where the hotel has sold various of its rooms to private owners (and continues to do so — we saw several 'for sale' signs up on balconies when we were there), meaning that people buy, and rightfully treat it, as their home. This wasn't too much of a problem, although the corridor to our room did have a somewhat pungent smell of dog. The staff, however, are helpful, still provide a hotel-level of service, and are happy to help with any information you might need.

Rooms are the best part and there horrible. Food is of a very poor quality and choice. The television shows porn 24/7 on most channels very bad two weeks.

Quite normal hotel, the normal number, a normal garden pool, friendly staff, and the fact that at Internet, pay TV with additional charge, meals not, certainly if you flew to the Canary Islands to sit in a room, use the net and from morning till night to eat, then you in Turkey or Egypt, to the hotel where everything is included.

I've been a week in these apartments and the truth I have not left nothing satisfied, beds very you uncomfortable, the swimming pool was not very clean to say. In addition, the location is not very good on the island. In short, worth paying a little more and go somewhere better.

The worst Hotel I've been in my life. Atencio's poor staff, minimal, cooking utensils beetles coming from the sink in the kitchen, the worst beds I've ever had the misfortune of never. Seriously, I am 21 years old, I've gone to many cheap places to save up to the last euro, but you do not do like me, pay a little more and enjoy your holiday, why the lack of rest for 6 days bitter break anyone. Ahh! and do not believe I will you clean the room every day, why won't it do.
