Lovely hotel and very cozy. The décor makes this hotel a magical place. Both the treatment and the attention are impeccable. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

The admiral's house is beautiful. The staff are very nice. The room a bit small but overlooking the sea.

Originally was spending 7 nights, found it to be that good paid for an extra two nights. Amazing staff, friendly and they will go out of the way to ensure you are having a great stay. Also a great location between Es Castell (15 min) and Mahon (20 min). Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. Great location — just a 15 minute walk to either Es Castel or Mahon — great company — met some lovely people in the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We hired a car for three days from the hotel to have a look around the island which was very convenient they dropped it off and picked it up from the hotel. Breakfast was continental style but you could order hot food if you required and it was cooked fresh to order. We are in the restaurant one night but the choice of the bar meals was better. Would return again — what more of a recommendation can you give!

Fabulous hotel. First class service. 10 minute walk to shops and bars at Es Castell or Mahon. Very quiet and relaxing pool and terrace areas. A haven for book lovers or anyone that wants to chill out and relax!

This place was amazing if you're after peace quiet and tranquility. It feels very colonial in it's decor. The staff were so friendly. About 20 minute walk from the harbour. We hired a car so could travel the island… that's it's only down point… it's a little out the way which is what we wanted to be fair.

The hotel trades strongly on its heritage, and whilst it could qualify as a tourist stop, as a hotel, it leaves much to be desired. One only has to look at the exemplary standards of the paradour heritage hotels to see what could be achieved. With stunning views over the natural harbour, guests should be able to enjoy a roof top bar and eat in lavish surrounding with a cooling Breeze. Instead guests put up with a sweltering bar on the ground floor, with no air-con. Whilst the heritage rooms are ok, the remainder is reminiscent of a 1970's holiday camp, who's gardener has gone AWOL. Perhaps this is what appeals to us Brits? Courage in adversity.

Peaceful & relaxing, hotel spotless, staff amazing, location is a bit remote, meals could be better, but a great place for a 'flop & drop' some guests been coming to the hotel for year's, I understand why.

This is a very comfortable, small hotel situated midway between Mahon and Es Castell, with very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has a pool and sun terrace with views over Mahon's natural harbour. The rooms have been upgraded since we last stayed; we shall definitely return in the future.

Been here 4times now love every minute staff very friendly and helpful from the owner down definitely recommend staying here for a very chilled holiday.

Us cost this August 95 euros the night in this hotel and the truth that doesn't cost it. The hotel is very old, breakfast. It is fatal. The only thing courteous having is ela situation, near Mahon 1 minute drive and the employee are nice people. But this hotel is 50 euros per night, not 95, even in August.
