Just back from an amazing stay at Starbal villa as a family of 4.
It was our first time staying at a villa style accommodation rather than big busy holiday resort and we loved it!
Most days most guest were out meaning we had the pool all to ourselves, the kids were never out of it! If the sun got too much there was a lovely shaded seating area under some trees perfect for cooling down. We stayed in the apartment room which consisted of a master bedroom with two single beds in the living space which worked perfect for us. We had a small kitchen perfect for making lunches and snacks. Wi-Fi was also available throughout the villa.
Breakfast was lovely and chilled, the staff waited on you with fresh eggs, juices, pancakes and yogurts, that were all delicious!
The area is a residential area however a 5 minute walk away there is a cluster of restaurants and harbour which we ate at in the evenings. Taxis are also really easy to get and if you need any help the staff were always on hand to help book or provide information.
Almost forgot to mention, the gardens have a family of tortoises that the kids loved to check on everyday.
Overall a beautiful stay in Menorca 🧡
We arrived on the island in the early hours of the morning devastated because an apartment contract we had lined up fell through at the last minute.
Stressed out, emotionally drained and with our cat with us we had to scramble to arrange for accommodation that accepted pets. Paloma greeted us with a warm and genuine hospitality. She let us wait in her lovely garden while they prepared our room, of which we checked in an hour or more earlier than usual. Breakfast and coffee was delightful with her own home made bread. Her staff are very friendly as well and their villa away from the building of which we stayed was spacious, cozy and quiet. Lovely stay.
PS — Be careful not to walk on the tortoises in the grass! :)
Would highly recommend.
