Well organised and run, clean and tidy. Very friendly staff, family friendly hotel with plenty to keep children happy and occupied. Great place for a family holiday with young children.

Can't recommend this place enough. The facilities are great the staff are really friendly and helpful and everything you need is on your doorstep. Great resort!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's very clean and well looked after. The pools are great for the kids. The kids entertainment on the nights starts at 20.30, which we found a bit late for young children who have been up all day. The young lads have nowhere to play football and usually play inside the play area and you can occasionally get hit with the ball on your way to the toilet. There isn't much around the hotel in the way of bars and restaurants. They're about a 15 minute walk in port de pollença. We tried to get a taxi one night, after we waited an hour we gave up. We found the food in the buffet restaurant OK but can be very limited in variety. The beach towels the hotel provide are subject to €10 per towel. The beach is 100m from the reception but isn't the nicest beach. Nice place but it's a bit isolated away from port de pollença.

Lots of families enjoying themselves. With evening entertainment. Excellent buffet, unlimited ice cream. Large pool and play area. Rooms smart & clean with comfortable beds. An amazing large spa swimming pool for those inclement days.

Stayed here with my wife and our two young sons (2 & 4) during the first week of May in 2018 and we were blown away by the quality of this Hotel! We had booked a large self-catering Villa quite nearby but I realised that for £200 more we could stay here fully catered for! For us it is never about price but you do always want to get your monies worth. I have to say the attraction of no trips to the supermarket, no washing dishes and a very varied buffet including drinks for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner made this a no brainer. The hotel is situated only 100 metres from the famous ‘Pine Walk’ that follows the beach all the way to the town and the views are amazing! The staff at Playa Mar & Spa are amazing, the guests are all quite well to do and a lot of them are cyclists enjoying the areas amazing roads. The facilities and rooms are very clean and well-kept in fact I am struggling to find something wrong with the place! The only thing I would have changed was the fact that we did not hire a car we booked mini bus transfers each way instead and I would have loved to have driven up the nearby mountain road to see the views! Great place, we will 100% visit again. I uploaded a picture to the gallery on here of our two boys engaging in some morning colouring on our balcony! Amazing!

We were a therapy group, everything was special, food, loa rooms and all nice, good buffet and excente place with pools and therapy nights.

Estubimos in March for an event. Ideal place. Very attentive and friendly service. Large and good food, with ample dining hours. The only bad thing was that because of the strong wind, the spa area looked like a kids pool, so a relaxing area… little (but the fault is not at all the hotel). Also located in a very nice area of the island. If I go back to that area it's pretty safe to repeat.

Friendly, well run hotel with excellent facilities. The charming little town of Port de Pollenca is a short walk away along the sea front.

It is an apartment hotel with a total of 4 houses built around the outdoor pool area. The beach is just a few hundred meters away. There is a promenade up to the centre which can be run nicely, even in the dark as it is illuminated.
The room was in good condition and clean. Due to the newly renovated rooms also no wear of the furniture.
The service, such a friendliness you rarely see. Whether at the reception or at dinner, even the cleaning ladies are always polite and greet you. The team at the food is super attentive and takes care of increasing to the needs of the guests.

Great hotel. Basic, but clean and had everything kids would need. Slides and pool area were great and entertainment was fun. Decent walk to the beach and restaurants.

Can't fault the Playa Mar really, just got back from a fantastic week there with my young family. The kids pool is a gradual slope, ideal for toddlers to splash around in, the deeper end is past the bridge, which we used as a marker for our 4 year old. Life guard there all day. The food was delicious, different themes each night, wide variety for all tastes (and fussy eaters! ). The staff couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and the entertainment staff were fantastic, friendly and great with the kids. The club song in the pool everyday was hilarious, which the children really enjoyed participating in. Sunbeds were plentiful and we never had a problem getting an umbrella each day. Cleanliness was very good throughout the hotel, very impressed with our room each day, air-con, TV, kitchen and nice bathroom. Ideal location for younger children as the small beaches and ports are a short walk away, ideal for evening strolls. Highly recommended holiday! The only downside was the transfer being quite long (not a major problem! ), and the balconies didn't seem too secure (although we didn't really use them except for drying towels etc). It's on the peaceful part of the island, so no problems with noise or clubbers or anything like that.

Nice hotel. Small and friendly. We took our grandson for a week and he loved it. The nightly disco was heaven for him and he enjoyed the pool immensely. Located on the outskirts of the town in a very quiet location. It was a short 5 min walk to a small beach and about another 20 mins to the main town/marina. Food was all inclusive and could have been better.

Great place for families l with all inclusive. Food is good. Wouldn't recommend for a quiet couples holiday but for those with kids it's a must. For diabetics watch out when ordering diet drinks. They often gave full sugar coke when ordering diet. Had a few tense moments with the bar staff when I saw then pour from the regular tap and they denied it!

We had great family holiday here, I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone with a family. Couples stay away though! If you don't have children and want a quiet holiday don't come here as this hotel is aimed at families. The staff were fantastic, I have honestly never been anywhere where staff worked so hard to please! The children's entertainment was good, my son loved it. The food was OK, I never had any complaints though I also never thought any meals were fantastic. I suppose all inclusive food is never going to be amazing. I would definitely go back.

Great location & great staff… Everybody made our family so welcome, food is great lots of choice in the restaurant (be prepared to put a few pounds on). Great pools & slides for the kids. Beach only 2mins away & lovely walk into Pollenca… Only down was our room for 2 adults & 2 kids was very small & very dated.

We have been in Holy Week and the food was a little flojilla, little variety and everything without taste insipid and unremarkable, we also need the children's entertainment, though perhaps it is because it is still the beginning of the season, but the theatre was a place in which were all the time with music very high and could not speak neither in the morning nor during the night.

Definatly reccomend for family with young children. Has a spa and super steam room etc. But nobody hardly uses it. Too lazy to leave the excellent pools and terrace. Watch out for the water park excursion 2hrs playing pickup and then a nasty sting with the rings costing 12euros extra per person. That said. There are free ones but 10 free for 1000 visitors. Our rep did warn us about pushy photo staff. They are very pushy… just say NO firmly. Hotel very clean and almost 5 stars.
