HM Martinique

Not as advertised! I never leave reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. If you are choosing this hotel based on all the ‘free’ perks by booking direct through the website don’t bother! It’s absolutely catered to the young and very drunk (which we expected and tbh found quite humorous even at 2, 3, 4, 5am) however after emailing in advance over 5 times and never getting a response to asking for late check the day before departure and morning of which they advertise as free if available they then say it’s chargeable based on a full extra day rate including taxes! So clearly available but not free therefore don’t advertise it like that! Also no welcome cocktail or bottle in room again as advertised, let that slide as we aren’t big drinkers but just another thing to note! Also kitchen stocked with nothing, no kettle, no tea towels, only basic eating utensils, no chopping board NOTHING! Asked at reception, said they’d give us what we needed in 10mins. Did they heck! Unless you are coming for the party all inclusive element and don’t intend to need anything from reception I would massively recommend Playa cas saboners hotel instead!

Me and my friend had an incredible time at this hotel. Despite some bad weather, we were well looked after and catered for within the hotel’s facilities and by the wonderful staff who work there. Sun or no sun the hotel is always thriving and there is always such a lovely atmosphere. The bar staff work incredibly hard day and night and are always happy to see each and every guest. A massive thank you to George — please try his amazing sangria! 😊 We will be back!

Had a dream time in Mallorca and stayed at Martinique. It is a beautiful hotel! I don’t have any complaints, only that there is music in the pool areas, but I am a boring introvert sometimes, so never mind me! Thank you to all amazing staff for looking after us so well!

Stayed here last month, after a very long 18 months with covid etc. It was nice to finally get away and enjoy a well earned break. We arrived late in the evening and was welcomed very quickly, and very politely by the reception staff, normally with all inclusive hotels you don’t hold much hope for the amenities such as food etc. How far wrong could I have been, the food was some of the best I’ve eaten. The hotel is very clean, fresh and airy. It was also good to see my misses catch up with some of the staff as they went to school together. It is exceptionally located close to the beach, but far away to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet.
The pool was very nice, I spent 90% of the time we was at the pool just day dreaming and trying to float. Would I stay here again, and the answer is yes, I would definitely book here again if I was to go back to Majorca! Thank you for the enjoyable experience! 5 stars from me!

Loved our stay here! I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but I was polite to the staff and received nothing but the same in return. Particular thanks to Sante at the bar/restaurant who was super patient with us trying to order stuff in broken Spanish 😅 but all of the staff were really lovely and welcoming. The whole hotel is gorgeous and spotlessly clean throughout, room is comfy, pools are stunning (if a little cold! ), great access to beach, varied food… couldn't really ask for more! Would definitely come again, thank you to all! 🥰

Fantastic hotel, lovely staff, clean, modern and accommodating. 9 mature woman had a fab time. Special shout out to my George on the bar for always looking after us! Don’t hesitate.

To be recommanded to young people who have enough with a bed to sleep & some food.
Great location, just a street away from the strip but due to that there wasn’t a quite night at the hotel (drunk ppl make a lot of noise😂, haha) A lot can be improved in hygiene.
It’s like they clean a lot, 10 people at the pool in the morning but if you look good it’s not clean at all. The rooms are a mess, our bathroom was like a swimmingpool because there was no shower window & the doors where in mold due the water. They bring new towels & make up the bed but cleaned? I doubt it.
Public toilet at the pool where cleaned regulary 👌 You can go to the pool at 10am but can’t have any drinks before 11n. Strange? Food is good, have eaten worse at other hotels.

Lovely hotel but the woman who works in the pool bar is quite possibly the most miserable person I’ve met in my entire life. She should not be working in hospitality. Apart from that lovely stay thanks xx.

Such a shame.
My partner and I came here for our first holiday as a couple, unfortunately at the end of our week in magaluf, we tested positive and had to quarantine for 10 days.
We decided we’d like to stay at hm Martinique for our 10 days, as this way we were able to stay together, and overall just preferred being able to stay in the same room as we’d been in for the week.
Before our quarantine, our hotel room wasn’t cleaned whilst we were out for the day, the staff — at a push, gave us fresh towels.
We were only bed and breakfast, the food wasn’t terribly great. Luckily there’s some great restaurants outside of the hotel.
During our quarantine — which we are now paying all inclusive for, we’ve been given breakfast — which is cold, stale and overall not very nice, lunch — which is also cold, stale and just not satisfying, and evening meal is the same. Each lunch and tea tends to be the same, a cold handful of chips, cold breaded chicken and uncooked white rice.
We asked if we could be told what the option for food is, so that we can decide for ourselves what we think we’d enjoy, and eat all of.
They did now allow this, we get what we’re given.
We get 2 small bottles of water a day.
In the evenings, we now just order takeaway from outside restaurants to fill us up, as we’re so hungry and just not able to eat the food given to us, as the standards are low, again, cold food, uncooked, sloppy and just plain.
