Hotel Teide

Attention! Be careful. This is definitely not a hotel! We booked a room in this hotel. We arrived at 01:00, we were told at the reception that we only had a reservation for one person. Although when we booked we chose a regular room, which did not indicate that it was for 1 person. There were no empty seats. The employee was incompetent and rude. He said that in Spain all rooms are booked for one person only. This is the first time I have seen this in my experience. From the beginning he said that we need to pay for the second person. Then we began to resolve this issue. While we were looking at the options, he said that the hotel was full, and we said that we agreed to already pay for a place for 2 people, since it was already late and night and we were tired. To which he said that it was no longer possible to pay for a second person. The room is very small. On Google map and booking shows a photo of only a standard room for 2. He showed what single room looks like from his phone. The area is terrible and creepy. While we were sitting, we were thinking about what to do. We looked at the reviews — it’s a pity that we didn’t do this earlier! They were all bad. But since the island is full of tourists and there are not many housing options, I think everyone turns a blind eye to this. Other guests came with whom he had been in conflict for a long time. Perhaps they had the same story. We didn't wait for them to end and just left.

Good morning, I am the owner of the Teide hotel, this response is directed to two reviews from the same client, Natacha TKach and Fucelezz since they stayed in the same room, they stayed for several days, the last night they told us about the existence of bedbugs in the room, asking for money so as not to give bad reviews, they explained to us that they travel all over the world, well, since we did not agree to them having a free vacation, they tell reviews and lies and they already have the photos on their camera from other hotels, like that They can show it to other hotels that if they don't give them free vacations they will write a bad review, so they let us know that since we didn't give them money they would write a bad review. Well, we know from the comments of our clients that there are no bedbugs in our hotel, so don't worry, dear Natasha and dear Fucelezz, we have unraveled two who wanted free vacations, keep trying in other hotels, it doesn't work here.

Hi. Unfortunately I have to share my very bad feedback regarding this hotel. I will try to keep it short.
In our room we found BEDBUGS. We had in total around 20-30 bites (me and my girlfriend).
Straight after we found it out I went to the reception, and told to dear Bea (receptionist) about it, and here I got a completely disrespectful and arrogant answer. She was telling me that I’m the one who brought them, and this is my fault now.
On the next day I came to the manager Juanma to talk about the situation, since this is a completely no go for any hotel, I wanted at least some return of the money (or some % of it), but here I also got rejected.
He told me that they won’t charge me money for the cleaning of the bedbugs, which I was very surprised to hear, since this would be another amazing conversation.
Anyway.
Juanma was very kind respectful to me, but unfortunately this doesn't help out the situation.
I wouldn’t recommend the place to people who don’t want to get bitten from bedbugs and don’t want to wash their cloth in a 90 degrees water after the vacation.
Very upset since I wanted to solve the problem in another way. But looks like this review is worth the money I didn’t got from the hotel back.
