Great stay at Hotel Teide for recording our Music Video on the Island. This hotel is so convenient & lovely rooms. Very helpful & friendly staff. Thanks for a lovely short stay.
Attention! Be careful. This is definitely not a hotel! We booked a room in this hotel. We arrived at 01:00, we were told at the reception that we only had a reservation for one person. Although when we booked we chose a regular room, which did not indicate that it was for 1 person. There were no empty seats. The employee was incompetent and rude. He said that in Spain all rooms are booked for one person only. This is the first time I have seen this in my experience. From the beginning he said that we need to pay for the second person. Then we began to resolve this issue. While we were looking at the options, he said that the hotel was full, and we said that we agreed to already pay for a place for 2 people, since it was already late and night and we were tired. To which he said that it was no longer possible to pay for a second person. The room is very small. On Google map and booking shows a photo of only a standard room for 2. He showed what single room looks like from his phone. The area is terrible and creepy. While we were sitting, we were thinking about what to do. We looked at the reviews — it’s a pity that we didn’t do this earlier! They were all bad. But since the island is full of tourists and there are not many housing options, I think everyone turns a blind eye to this. Other guests came with whom he had been in conflict for a long time. Perhaps they had the same story. We didn't wait for them to end and just left.

Very nice stay with one of the cleanest "but bit dated" rooms I've seen in lower standard so far. Service is super attentive, very welcoming and professional, with a great breakfast one minute walking from the hotel.
