Check in very slow, half an hour waiting and 10 minutes to make it. Very poor firm and closing at 21, half an hour before they did not replenish and removed all 10 minutes before. I don't recommend it at all. Poor quality animation, fans sing better.

1st day, room great, good food, friendly, efficient staff, ideal location.

Great place with 3 pools and a pretty friendly staff. Super close to the beach and their free Wi-Fi reaches out to the shore. Parking is free (! ) But the in room safe costs 2.50 Euro a day (? ). Daily entertainment is a bit cheesy, but free. And there are lots of old people which is just fine. Overall a great base when exploring Mallorca.

Rooms have been recently refurbished and bathroom good, though rain shower not in correct position so soaks floor when used. Friendly staff. Sound proofing of rooms not good and you can hear everything. 2 great pool areas and adults only.

Great location, V close to airport, but not noisy. Short taxi ride rather than expensive transfer. Views from 5th floor are amazing. Lovely beach. Amazing saltwater pool and v comfortable sun loungers, no problem getting a spot in the morning. Good that it's adults only, more relaxing and easier to use pool. Would visit again.

Great location, very clean hotel, room was clean and up to date overlooking the sea. Only 1 bottle of water given on arrival. But there are shops nearby to buy what you need.

We had problems on arrival, when occupying the room, we booked a superior front sea view and were given a side. The next day it was fixed, with details from the director and from there we were phenomenal. Good facilities, meals as in few hotels, for how good it was, and they lend you towels for the beach (with deposit, of course). You can also stay in the room with payment of 30 euros on the day of departure. Normally you have to leave the room at 12:00 hours and our plane did not leave until 18:00 and we were able to stay until 17:30 hours. All very well in general. A good vacation.

Hotel very well located in a quiet area but close to the busiest places. The hotel staff is impeccable regardless of their function. Traders nearby too. Great beach and great ease of use for public transport. The buffet was always good and full. Very good experience.

Beautiful hotel on the beachfront. The price in season is somewhat high, but the area is very quiet and family friendly.
It's perfect for a few days. The large rooms feature tennis courts.
It is very close to public transport that goes to Palma, so you arrive at the center in 15/20 minutes.
The aquarium and the sandy party area are also nearby.

It's very clean. Bathroom infrastructure is good. Sea View room with great view. The swimming pool is very good. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful. But the room decoration is more old-fashioned.

Bright and airy. Quite hotel as it's adults only. 3 swimming pools 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. Beach just across the street from the hotel. Airport 10 minutes away. Shops bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and tasty food in their buffet. It’s also close to bike rental points and it has a bus stop named by the hotel that takes to Palma for €1.5. Perfect! :)

Great hotel. Do not spare money and take a room with a sea view. The breakfasts are varied and tasty. From the airport there are buses for 5 euros: 5 stops and you are on the spot.

The location is great I only went for some drinks because its next to my house but I love the pool.

The hotel is really located at the Playa de Palma. When we arrived, it seemed to me as if we were in a spa but the appearance is deceptive, after that we were sure we landed at the hotel. A light flooded clean entrance area.
Receptionist are friendly and check in went quickly across the stage. In addition there was a small introduction (where the dining area, swimming pool and cocktail bar is).
Minus star. When we discussed the late shift in terms of A problem case, the late shift quickly stalled us with the set we take care of (in a stroppy nagging way) with the elevator it went up into the room, the hallway area was not so inviting (70 years of charm). In the hotel room it was clean the furnishings also come in the years, except the bathroom, TV, bed mattresses as well as the floor are brought up to date.
The waiters are courteous, also the service is not too short.
Now we come to the dining area. We booked breakfast and supper. Lots of choices at the counters you don't have to starve. The food is delicious, especially the tapas have done to me. Unfortunately I did not try the juices.
You can walk very nicely and is fast at the airport. Palma is easy to reach by bus.

Good location (but with flight noise), modernized rooms with kettle, fridge and flat-screen TV (but paid safe), good gym, kitchen OK.
The rooms are poor in the northwest, only side sea views and sun only in the evening. But also these are "Superior rooms"!
Also bad is that you can not eat any food on the pool terrace, but the kitchen is closed during the day and the bar sells only chips or sandwiches packed in plastic.

The hotel is located on the Playa de Palma. You can walk very nicely and is fast at the airport. Palma is easy to reach by bus. The rooms are nice sized and well equipped. Unfortunately we had a room that was down to the side street and therefore was not good from the view. On the outdoor terrace one can sit nicely to relax and sunbathe. We only booked bed and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing special. The juices didn't taste like they were fresh. Too bad I expect a 4 star hotel more. Overall a solid hotel but for me more of a 3 star standard.

Great hotel with very nice staff. With questions they were always very helpful and the cleaning lady also did a great job.
On the day of departure the whole buffet was prepared earlier since I had to go to the airport at 6.

Super Hotelzimmer, leckeres Essen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Personal, super Lage, gute busverbindung. This hotel is directly situated to the beach. The food is delicious. Personal are very helpful. There is a Busstop near to el cid hotel. It's name is el cid. From here ppl can easily go by Bus to mallorca City. Bus Tickets cost 1 euro per Trip. You have to buy multiple Single Tickets from Tabak Shop. The hotel is also only 6 Minutes away from the airport by taxi. It cost around 13 Euro.

Got a renovated room, so it was nice. Good location, pool and stunning view. However, food was average. Service during off season is on much lower level than in high season.

It is a small area of personal paradise very friendly and always available a lot of choice question food and hotel very quiet facing the sea I will return.

A superbly located hotel in the first line on the beach of Palma. Five stars only because the hotel has come a bit in the years. Very good dinner, sumptuous breakfast.

Service was excellent. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was great, and the choice was excellent. Decor was not a modern hotel, not to my style, but I didn't object to it. A couple of noisy guests next door, bug not hotels fault.

Excellent Hotel, in a beginning and when I saw it from outside I thought it was the typical beach hotel, but the room exceptional (Hab. 404) so I can only say that 10 on 10 in all aspects of the room. Very good treatment in reception, Miss Lourde.

Is a hotel located at first line to the sea, very well located in the area of tourist and well communicated with several bus lines that arrive from the airport to the centre of the city. The hotel consists of renovated rooms, 3 swimming pools one of them heated, gym, sauna, several rooms for storing bicycles, a reading lounge, a large cafeteria where performances are held, a mill located in one of the swimming pools where you make each hamburger delicious… Etc, it's best to spend a pleasant holiday.

From 18th to 25th 03rd 17 my daughter (23) and I (54) were guests at this hotel. Our suite on the 6th floor was just perfect! It can't be better. A wonderful sea view from 3 balconies, which had all the seating and loungers. The furnishings of the suite made the stay more than pleasant — nothing was missing! Cleanliness at its best. The location of the hotel is wonderful. Airport without noise. Beach tangible! Quiet location, but everything your heart desires in the immediate vicinity. The connection by public transport to Palma was also very good — stop is reachable in a few steps. The highlight of this hotel is the gastronomy! An ingenious breakfast buffet, which is only surpassed by the buffet with barbecue in the evening. If you can't find anything here, you have to stay at home! A big compliment to the Kitchen Team! Generally very friendly staff. A special thanks to Lorena at the grill, who with her cordial manner underlines her skills at the grill, also in dealing with difficult guests. You rarely find someone who enjoys his job so much! A good reason to come back!

4th year here and never had a disappointing time, great hotel, great staff.

The first day we arrived we had a badly understood with reception and left us without dinner (we arrived late from work and ask a cold dinner when we got). The staff was rude at the time but the next day is unloaded in pardons and the treatment has been great since then. Hotel very nice, quiet and with a very good breakfast! Overlooking the beach!

5 time I was in this year at the Hotel El Cid, but probably for the last time. After I already in Feb. 2015 had booked for my friend from Kassel. At my arrival there was for me no room, I had to into another Hotel, what a the whole piece was gone. Then the ladies at the reception, especially the elderly, are so unfriendly, the a the Holiday mood passes, as well as the gentleman with the slightly darker skin color. The Bar in the evening hardly visited, fortunately, there are enough Local where music and Entertainment. Not a good trip home, nothing. Conclusion, in the next year in a different Hotel, where the guest is still king.

I couldn't find it so well the hotel bar was always empty the Negro on the retz. Is totally unfriendly rooms are outdated.

We were with a friend in July, I liked us so much that we want to go back to August 24, and do not see availability. The rooms are clean, large and beautiful balcony. The pool is precious, with beautiful lounges, a terrace with a unique view. Breakfast very well as well as dinner for us that we are from Argentina, was us a little early, but I see that it is used there, is a custom. I recommend it and please want! They make us little place that we come from far away? Thank you all for the services provided.

I have just returned for this hotel after been moved from there sister hotel being the D'0r Alexandra. The reviews on here are a bit biast, the hotel seems to have gone through some renervation. All hotel rooms have superb Air Conditioning. The Hotel Restuarant although Buffet style is superb even if your vegie! I would recomend this hotel as its the best I have stayed at in Can Pastilla.
