Hotel Amic Gala

Poor communication — my sister and I stayed here for one night. The noise in the room above us was horrendous. The door opened and closed continually throughout the night. I don’t want to presume what may have been going on, but the noises may have said otherwise.
Unfortunately I left my favourite necklace behind and on communicating through booking. Com, they said they found it and could send it back to me by post if I sent them all my card details. I didn’t see why this was necessary and offered to send them a one off transfer, which they never replied to. After trying to contact both by email and ringing, I’ve received no answer and had no other option but to write this review. I really hope they see this and can make amends.

There are a lot of little shopping businesses, restaurants in the direct surroundings and the beach is only 2 minutes away by foot.
A pool is available at the hotel across the street (opening hours 10 a. M to 6 p. M).
A/C is working perfect, massage chairs in the lobby are fantastic and the cleaning by the room service leaves nothing to be desired.

The 2 stars is just for kindness of the staff the room we get is horrible a lot of noise dirty sheets we didn’t even get toilet paper 😅 the positif point is the location.

The location is amazing. That is why they are getting 2 stars. The bathroom has not been updated for the last 30 years. Some of the staff are ok but some should really not be in this field of work. Under the impression no one understands Spanish.
I paid for breakfast and dinner. Absolutely no drinks included with the dinner. No water, no soft drinks. And of course it is not mentioned when you buy it.

Super friendly staff, but rooms are old, airconditioning is dirty. Stayed one night due to crowedstrike issues so flights were cancelled and many hotels were fully booked.

We had an ok stay here overall, pretty good breakfast. But the serving lady Kinga was really rude. Learn some respect or change professions.

Nice person at the reception, but there’s holes and (blood? ) stains on the bed sheets… one night is. Ok. Aircon in the rooms 👍

Unhealthy mold in aircondition (probably never cleaned), unusable with small kids. Window in bathroom broken, old furniture, clean. One night before fligh is ok, but no more. From corridor a lot of noise all night. Worst night on mallorca and unfriendly reception. Good breakfast.

This is a perfect hotel for budget stay.
Good price, close to the beach and amenities.

Lovely hotel, clean, great breakfast, cater for gluten free etc. Rooms cleaned daily, very friendly staff, definitely would return.

Old and slightly run-down hotel. I had to go to reception 3 times to get the room key to work. The light in the bathroom did not work. Bars for the door to the balcony, so it could not be used. Heavy traffic road right in front of the hotel, so it was almost impossible to sleep.
The location is perfect with a short distance to the beach and shops. Luckily we were only going to stay there for one night. You get what you pay for.

Very good location, beach is basically next to the hotel and very close to the airport.

Amazing location and service, you right next to the beach and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a very big breakfast offer so be ready to try out lots of good breaky options. Keep in mind if driving you may need to park a bit far from the hotel.
Rooms are the downfall of this place. In my experience the room had old doors, the main door was slanted so almost impossible to close without slamming and so was the neighbors so there was a slamming door symphony every now and then, same for balcony door, hard to open and close without waking up the all floor.

Editing this review. As I gave 3 star last year and now giving 5. The rooms are a bit rundown. But the cleaning is good. But you cant beat the location. Its great value for money. The breakfast is amazing. Lots of variety. Amazing pastries. We also tried dinner and it was 14€ per person and it had a lot to offer to. The staff was friendly. The beach is also great.
