Wonderful, cheap four star hotel in Can Pastilla, also suitable for families.
The hotel was renovated not long ago, and still exudes the splendor of a beautiful new hotel. The rooms are quite nice, the staff is friendly and the food at the hotel was impressive.
In the morning for breakfast there was a large selection of fresh fruit, along with fresh smoothies and freshly prepared pancakes or eggs. English guests will enjoy the same price as German guests who want to have fresh bread rolls.
The dinner was again a highlight, there was as a starter beautifully set small portions of salads and tapas, as well as fresh Spanish gazpacho. A salad bar, of course, was also available. Especially the large selection of vegetarian food surprised me. Afterwards, we had a large selection of meat and fish, as well as plenty of dishes. Much has been prepared locally. The dessert was wonderful, you had a large selection of fresh fruit and cakes, as well as small Jogurthspeisen or pudding. There was also ice.
The only thing that bothered me about the dinner was the service. Either they were busy or just wanted to ignore the guest. It was difficult to get someone to pay attention to drinks (the drinks prices are ridiculously low, by the way). Otherwise the staff is very friendly and quick (kudos to Xim and Maria).
The room was very nice and clean. Klimaanglage and far-off were not only modern, but also free to use. The beds are quite comfortable as we had a triple room it was a bit cramped throughout the room. The bathroom was quite modern but had no normal door. Instead, a closet door was attached in front of the bathroom. That did not close properly, so privacy was virtually not prehanded.
The closet, which was directly in the bedroom, had no door at all. No further dramatic (vllt even quite practical) but somewhat ugly in a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is located in the (not so touristy) place of Can Pastilla. It is not far from the sea, you can also see it from the balcony. After Palma it is not far and by taxi or bus you arrive very quickly to the airport (our Transferbus Hgat used about 7 min) The proximity to the airport has allerdngs also its disadvantage, as with flight noise is to be expected at any time… It's not great to sleep at night with the window open but it's a bit of a offense.
