Lagoon Center

The hotel is beautifully and centrally located, the apartments are spacious, bathrooms with bathtubs, a toilet that leaked pretty much all the time and they have a nice and large swimming pool (but cold).
There were more than enough sunbeds when we were there, but it was the last week of May and the first week of June. So far we were satisfied. Ants in the kitchen and balcony on the 5th floor were a bit surprising, but I bought spray against that. Relatively well equipped kitchen, you have to guess how to use the hotplates best, all markings were absent, worn away. A slow coffee maker is better than none, a microwave without an instruction manual is used very limitedly.
For us — not being able to fully control the air conditioning was a big negative as it also turned off as soon as the key card was removed. An extremely small TV, which we didn't use and a toaster that occasionally caused the power to go out. We are sure that a different season would have given us a better impression, as there was so much noise from homes around the area doing gardening and maintenance and using petrol tools, angle grinders and other things that were very noisy — unfortunately we had to escape from the balcony a few times because of the noise — probably the worst for the apartments that were in the part above the reception.

Room was ok, decent size. No washing machine. No cleaning on certain days, towel changes every second day. If you ask for extra towels, there is a charge for that.
Beds are hospital beds, but are comfortable. Use of safe for some reason comes as an extra charge. Power points in the room are not by the bed side, but a bit further ie behind the door and on the other side of the room. Smallest TV of 21" or 24" with local and some British channels.
The restaurant is not a restaurant, food was edible but not worth the prices. Breakfast non existent, even the restaurant staff didn't know if they have breakfast or if they are even open.
Staff seemed uninterested in anything around them, passed them several times a day and they rarely said hello or even acknowledged us.
10 min walk to nearest shops, location is ok. Pool wasn't warm.
If anything, it's quiet in the evening due to it being in a residential area.
Has a lot of potential, just needs a bit of work and improved customer service.
