We stayed here in August 2022.3 families with children below 4 y/o. There are a few things that are important to know before choosing this place. Firstly, it’s a 30 minute walk into town and there are no foot paths. This isn’t ideal, and even potentially dangerous with buggies and young children as part of the journey is walking at the side of a very busy road. Secondly the bins for dumping household rubbish are down at the busy road, which is 10 minute walk away from the villa. So really, without a car this Villa is not suitable for people with children. We tried taxis so many times but they could either not find the place, or just never arrived. Next of all, the owner’s mother lives next door and she regularly enters the premises without announcing herself. We were told it would be just once during our stay, and we were told the specific time, but in reality it happened multiple unannounced times and she would walk into the various bedrooms, which is a huge invasion of privacy and a concern given we had young children there. This made us feel uncomfortable for our whole stay — she was also giving off passive aggressive comments about certain lights being left on outside at night and cups and glasses being left in bedrooms etc.
