Excellent location. The owner or Sun of person. All very friendly.

Quality very good price, renovated rooms, and at the door of the sun, if that is true that is a bit noisy at night, but is the price to pay in the centre.

I love the hotel very comfortable, clean, excellent location, super recommend it!

Simple but clean and practical. Perfect location. Nice staff. The only negative is the noise that comes from the square as there are almost always music concerts or some event until the early morning or in the afternoon and you can't sleep.

We went in April 5 people and we stayed in a single room. Comfortable beds and views of the puerta del sol. Unbeatable location. Although it is a bit noisy due to its location, is perfect for exploring the Centre of Madrid walking. Although there are metro and close to 300 metres. Economic prices.

The room is very good for the price. Location of the hotel opposite the Delsol square, this is a great place, but there may be some worry about noise. Crowded in the square until midnight. Madrid now the weather is a little cool, so opening the window is not a problem. Really like this place.

Very central. Very nice and familiar treatment. Comfortable and very clean rooms. View to the Puerta del Sol.

We stayed in couple, in January 2014. Is perfect, the location overlooking the gateway of the Sun from the balcony. The attention of the staff, the advice that they gave us to visit the important part of the city, which also is all no more than 10 minutes walk. Full super breakfast, € 3 and bread home made there same. I highly recommend it.

Just got back from 5 days in Madrid (May 2009). Hostal Riesco was simply fantastic — located 2 doors off Puerta Del Sol, economically priced, and extremely well-kept. The rooms are very clean and bright — exterior rooms have street views, interior rooms look in on a little courtyard. The staff is fantastic — extremely courteous and available at all hours to assist the guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return the next time we go to Madrid. For the area and price, it is very good place to stay. The staff is friendly and most helpful. It is undergoing a renovation and a coffee-croissant shop has been added recently. Luggage storage available should you only need an overnight bag at your other destination. The staff will arrange an airport shuttle transport, which came in handy for us. If you are looking for a place to spend a few days in the Metropolis, cast an eye here, it is worth it.
