Hostal Los Perales Guesthouse

Considering the price and the central location (8 minutes of paséo from Plaza del Sol), I am very satisfied: room with simple private bathroom, balcony and window, available kitchen, quite manicured in cleaning and in a secure condo.
The staff, very helpful, greeted us at midnight and was very cooperative.

I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone that wants a unique, beautiful, and personal lodging option in Urabamba. Paulito took the time to show us around his (incredibly beautiful) garden, helped us arrange cabs, and made a splendid breakfast including fruit from his home. You don't get that often. He is genuinely a very kind host. The room was clean, simple, and elegant. It was perfect for what we wanted in the scared valley of Peru.

Great room, clean for towels and bed every day. Only flaw the very thin walls that do not cushion the noises around. Great place to see the city walking around and appreciating everything at full!

The room (double with bathroom) is acceptable, the hostel on the whole can improve.

The only positive point was the location. The check in was confusing, they took our steaks a while to finally tell us that the printer was jammed. Neither did the Wi-Fi nor the intercom. When we arrived it was about 30 minutes to clean the room where a towel was missing and the covers for the Almuadas, we found hair on the bed and on the bathroom walls too. The most was the payment, after doing cash, we charged the same important on the card the next day, Enterandonos that there were other customers with problems in the payment. We don't advise anyone.

Hostel managed by amateurs. It saves the fact that in Madrid there is a shortage of accommodation. The hostel is old, dirty and smelly. When I walked into the room I had booked, they hadn't cleaned or changed the bedding, it smelled bad, it was dirty. The toilet had been used, not cleaned. I've never seen anything like it. I was so disgusted that I decided to leave the room, lose the money and went to another host, this one is spotlessly clean.

Value for money very good because it is cheap and it is in the center. You can walk to many places.

The location is great, you can find express mart right around the corner. Cafe and bar are few feet away. And it's about 15 to 20 minutes to the placa del espna, gran via and all the city center facilities. The stuff is helpful. The room is supplied with everything you need.

It's a passable place for a few nights. It looked clean, the Wi-Fi was almost never going and the walls are very thin so you will hear what happens in the other rooms.

The walls were so thin that all the noises were heard. It was decently clean.

Nice staff and rooms with own bathroom, TV and air conditioning, my room looked for an interior patio and was silent, I think Q leave put the heating at night, because I went to heat in the middle of February, when I return to Madrid, I will repeat.

Price-quality acceptable. Very central and well connected to the subway. The mattress and pillow are malillos but for €28 the night you can not ask for more. We have been comfortable in general.
They don't change the paper rolls or the litter bins and the toilet smelled a little pee.
Overall good but very little customer service.

The place is not safe. They stole money from the room and the managers refused to take responsibility. Apparently anyone can enter the rooms. The rooms are small, they abuse the heating and, I repeat, the place is unsafe.

It is clean, in the city centre, near plaza España and Gran Via. Beautiful, small rooms perfect for few nights.

It is a very basic hostel with no air conditioning and to have a cheap accommodation and well located. For people who are going to be all day outside and they just want the hostel to sleep.

Although the location is very good and rooms are not all bad, that the reception is in the kitchen and you're seeing the everyday life of the people who care for you it presents a rather unfortunate image. Despite all good quality price if you are looking for pass 1 or 2 nights to it most.

Went with my partner to spend the night of the Saturday to the Sunday.
The room, taking in account what had paid (45€), not was wrong. Although I am sure that you can find something better for that price.
The mattress was comfortable, we had TV's screen flat and Wi-Fi. When arrived by the night, with the low temperature that was in the night Madrid, the room was super hot, which was of thank. Even at night, we passed some heat.
The shower was in the Hall, to the right of the entrance of the room. And to the left there was a door with the toilet and the sink.
Everything was clean and the service was good.
It bad is that there is a bar just below and is hears a lot all it of the street, and until them 6:30 of it tomorrow there was noise, so us was almost impossible sleep, or at least rest in conditions.
It is a first floor without a lift, but it is not sacrificed if travelling with little luggage.

The location of the hostel is great and was very easy to find. However, there are no elevators and the woman did not help me with my 2 huge suitcases, she just kind of watched me lumber up the stairs. The individual room I was given was absolutely tiny and smelled so bad I had to ask for a different one. No kitchen and things seemed dirty. Not satisified. Cheap though.
