Very close to everything you need if you want to relax from a stressfull daily routine. I have been there a total of 36 overnights so far and will for sure come back as soon as we all ride off this devestating covid-19 virus. All hotel staff i've met so far meets my expectations of dedicated workers, including the ladies and gentlemen making up your room. Wish you all a safe easter even it is hard at this time.

I have loved the phrases q puts in every place of the hotel the friendliness of the workers, and the room itself, and the site where it is located is very central… you have everything. 2 steps, mercadona, metro, restaurants, bars. Etc I highly recommend It.!

The location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern and very nice. The bed 9 out of 10. In general, amazed and delighted with the accommodation. The price-quality ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

For such a great price I found a hotel with a lot of charm. With proper cleanliness and good attention.

Attached to Valdeacederas metro station, good siiii to eat and next to the Donostiarra Steakhouse. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely hotel. Repeat!

It is very well located as it has nearby shops such as mercadona, restaurants, markets, train station… It's been a good hotel for me. Parking a little narrow but enough to leave the car. The service is very good. We didn't get breakfast but we stayed in the café for breakfast and the staff was great both at reception, housekeeping and in the café. Repeat.

A hotel that is great for short stays and a very good price, we loved even if you have a couple of things to improve, is going very well.

The hotel is conveniently located 100m from the Metro. Very friendly staff! Rooms great. I am very satisfied!

The breakfast included is a Spanish breakfast, toast or croissant, orange juice and coffee. The hotel is clean a and staff is friendly.

Maximum kindness on the part of all the hotel staff from here you walk through the door you feel accompanied and helped in everything you might need they are remodeling and updating the rooms and the hotel is shown well kept and clean highly recommended For a quick visit to Madrid or a somewhat longer stay since you can visit the whole city for the good location you have is next to all means of transportation.

The truth, very good overall experience, especially for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff. As negative points would highlight that the door of the room does not isolate the noise, and I did not ask DNI any of the times I asked for the key to the room (you have to leave it every time you leave the hotel). For the rest, all right!

Nice place! Not to expensive and close to a metro station. We enjoyed our stay here. From the hotel it is a 5/10 minute walk to Bernabeu.

Overall it was a convenient stay and budget friendly. Cozy and clean. — check in at 2pm went smoothly but it was a bit later than we would have liked — the room was small — double bed, the mattress was not very comfortable, but it did it's job as a bed -open concept closet with 4 shelves and some hangers. No clothing iron. — a small desk with a kettle, small plastic mugs, and some complimentary instant coffe & tea bags -bathroom was small as well, we had a standup shower, no tub. Shampoo, body wash, and lotion, were all provided in wall attached pumps. No hair conditioner. Small handsoaps and rinsing glasses provided. — towels were fluffy — no tissues, just toilet paper — wall mounted blowdryer — wall mounted magnifying mirror — room service/cleaning service was not impressive. 2/5 days that we were there they did not clean the room while we were out, even when we left the door tag, so we had to wait for a clean. The tea cups were not replaced/washed and neither was the avaialbe tea/coffee refreshed when used. — the mini fridge came with x2 500 ml waterbottles priced at 1.5€ each — we took the package with Breaksfast which was included, served in the attached restaurant which was cute and clean. Fine service. Served from 7:15am-12pm with only the option of a 'Mediterranean breakfast' consisting of fresh orange juice, and either tea, coffee or hot chocolate, a croissant or toast accompanied with jam & butter or fresh tomato puree.

Simple and reasonably priced hotel, clean rooms and good transport links with the Metro to the city centre, to the Estadio Bernabeau as well as to the airport.

Very nice experience, I was surprised for good, cozy, clean, nice room and comfortable bed. The friendly receptionist and when we asked how to get to a site was very friendly. And their messages make it different and unique I loved you transmit positivity and good vibes. Very close to the Metro. 'll.

Breakfast included Justito. Friendly staff. 80 's-90 's facilities but everything works. Cheap and close to the towers of Castellana, Metro almost at the door.

The atmosphere is very nice. The décor. The bartenders were very friendly but were missing many things from the letter. There was almost nothing. Better order what you see that you already have on the counter. In our case in particular took a long time to bring the bill because they had problems with the Datafono.

Better than expected. Easy access to busses and metro. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Friendly service. We were able to rest just fine.

This is a good choice to stay in if the other downtown hotels became expensive! the hotel in the shopping / resturuant / supermarket street. near by santiago bernabeu stedium! closed to the metro and near by train station/bus/metro/renfe around 10-15 minutes the room were clean but the things which I don't like are: 1 — shower water pressure was not that much good! 2 — A/C was not that much cool which I used to stay in! and I think it is centeral air condition so maybe the reciption only the place were can control the tempreture. 3 — car parking lots were tight! and the exist/entrance were in the main road!

Good Location, on the main road and close to metro station. The rooms were clean and spacious, good for business travel and short trips.

Small hotel near la Castellana business. It supports rental for hours and is comfortable if you need only a small space of time between trips. About 2 mouths of underground and well connected to the airport.

Hotel well located in the Centre of Madrid, the access to the parking is a little hidden. The Café is a nice place to have a snack or drink fresh, is a plus that has free Wi-Fi. The view from the rooms is very good.

Great location very close to the metro and in a quiet location! Rooms clean and perfectly identical to the picture, in the morning, the hallways are invaded by the smell of cakes from the bar of the hotel that make you l mouth watering! Only minus the bathroom, ex too attached to the sink (I am 1 and 90 I need to sit to the side) and the shower that brings out some sketches when brushing. CMQ details easily negligible if you a little rubber bands. Basically a really good hotel! Highly recommended!

The best coverage of Wifi I've found in hotels, staff friendly, I was surprised also that they have opened a cafeteria with "normal" price and exquisite products.

A charming hotel since they reformed it!
I was 10 months ago at the same hotel, formerly known as "Practical NH", I didn't much, was noisy and the showers water passing from hot to cold in seconds. I went back a week ago, due to the vicinity of Plaza Castilla, and to my surprise I saw that had changed their name to "Once upon a Hotel", and inside completely renovated.
Very well connected to transport public, staff pleasant and attentive to any suggestion, super nice cafeteria, silent, comfortable beds, they changed the water in the showers and it now goes without problems, and a super fast WI-FI!

Upon entering the room holian baths, cleaning of the bathroom was horrible had hair and traces of previous customers… in the only two Minibar waters and hot, morning you can not rest because they are tapping strong roof and seems to be on the door. The cleaning service giving voices through the halls as if there were a party. Departure is at 12 o'clock, and at 12 and 10 already are calling you come out when still picking…
Super vulgar! I do not return and do not recommend it

I looks like a place only good if you are passing a night or two. It is old and with very little maintenance in the rooms. What they say the water goes from warm to burning, in the shower, it is true. Our shower had no bracket wall, and the joints of the tub and tiles were worth it. The breakfast is not like those of the NH that I know of. Is scarce and there is no hot food. In order to. For what you pay you can't ask for much, but there is a basic maintenance that should be done.

It does not deserve to be nh. It discredits the chain. Dwarf room. A noise in the air conditioning that didn't sleep. Staff not involved in solutions. To not re commending.

We were 3 months ago, they gave us a room with the broken tank, we did not change room, and the water of the shower came out cold and hot at times.

You have to request room on high floor and inside so not bother you the street noises. They assigned us one of smoking without being asked, not so, and arriving smelled tobacco, although the odor wasn't unbearable.
The breakfast seems to me quite full, casting missing that juices were natural.
The best of the hotel, the reception staff. They are very friendly and help you in what you can. They make you feel at home.
When you return to Madrid, I repeat, but with the conditions that I mentioned earlier.
