The rooms you get are not the ones you book or at least do not match the photos at the time of booking. They are extremely small. There is a lack of professionalism in the staff since they do not know how to handle crises and a hotel of the category they boast.
Nothing to do with its Barcelona branch where the staff is friendly and solves problems immediately.

Adult only hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice roof and view.

Terrible service. We arrived late at night to be told that the room we booked wasn't available, so my friend and I shared a bed, no problem. Then we were promised to have our room ready by noon, and it's 5 pm and our room is still not ready. There is only one person in the front desk and it's pride weekend… seriously? What are the managers thinking? It's a mess here, we are tired and want to rest and we can't have access to what we paid for. First and last time in this hotel.

Hetero friendly atmosphere, quirky skybar decoration quite nice. Services a little x under really a **** stars, but the dynamics are worth it.

An excellent hotel a good service I loved very central to visit the areas the service people are very attentive and responsible I love these of I recommend it to all my friends and those people who are always looking for hotels in Madrid is a super good hotel.

Poor design, open toilets in the room, no views. But friendly staff and rooftop area. Bar closes at midnight.

I loved my stay here, relaxed, friendly and so glam! Close by to restaurants, shops, bars and some tourist attractions. Gym is very small but I managed a short workout in the morning. The skybar gets busy around 2 so it's fairly easy to get a sunbed. Bar staff service is fab, food from the BBQ is lovely. I even had a massage in the wellness centre which was lovely! Can not fault this hotel, I would return tomorrow!

It's a really interesting place. At first I thought this was a place for gay (male) people only because of their website advertising. Hetero Girls and males are welcome too! I loved the terrace, it is amazing. They still have permission to have music which makes this a terrace with nice ambience yet (hope the neighbours don't mess with it). Drinks are good, views are even better and the french guy at the bar is really nice! — If you are an art and interiors design lover, this is a place you must visit :) I enjoyed ALL the decoration.

Nice hotel with a nice rooftop bar and pool, rooms are clean but not very practical. Staff is friendly but cannot easily understand a foreign language and I am referring to English which is common in the hospitality industry. AXEL Berlin was a far better experience than the one in Madrid.

Fantastic welcome on arrival. A pot of tea to quench our thirst then a map was highlighted showing us things to do. Superb breakfast and excellent service throughout. An absolute gem of an hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Fantastic, helpful staff and suite was beautiful. I’ll be back again soon. The only complaint was news channels RT (Russian Television News) and Al Jazeera are not good news sources. No CNN International. BBC World and France 24 English were the news channels I found exceptable. Hope the hotel will add better sources of news for American tourists. Great gay (hetero friendly) hotel.

Really great hotel. Stayed here with my husband and we both loved it (even though we are not gay). Great staff, good pool area, rooms are big and clean. Location is great, walking distance to all major tourist attractions and restaurants.

A hotel with an excellent location. The facilities are great, very clean, fantastic decor and a superb treatment. Noting the treatment of David, manager of the Sky Bar that we had been once and recognized us. Very nice and attentive. At reception we were told when we arrived that we were staying in a small room because it was not available another largest, and the next day we changed to a much larger scale. A great little gift. Absolutely recommended. We will come back.

We are a couple of heteros, we spent a few days in this hotel… and we have to say that we left happy! An exquisite place with a deal, and superb service, we would repeat without doubt, not descartéis to be exclusive to gays.

Great hotel, only to clean the room not much like) but the leather floor in the bathroom is a bomb!

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff in reception is funny and very friendly. Decoration in room and hotel is great as well as the music in all of the hotel, everything is very clean and it has everything you need. It is allocated near typical bars, markets, Madrid centre and just 2 minutes walk from the metro. Gym and swimming pool are open 24 hours which is great. Great views from the terrace. I will recommend it to all my friends. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable.

The hotel is perfectly located, the very center. Behind the building itself is a street with restaurant bars. Designed in the style of Andy Warhol with lobby and room.
Breakfast is super.
