Abba garden is not bad. The rooms are spacious quiet and more simply pleasant.
WC in the bathroom that's average on the other hand.
far, far from the city centre. 10km from the nearest beach.
overpriced parking while it's a struggle to park… pity because it soars the standard of the hotel.
on the other hand the staff is nice pro and smiling.

The room was large in the pool was big. I have no complaints about the bar and restaurant. Everybody I met it spoke English and Spanish and their own language.

Hotel is a bit away from the city and a little walk to the bus and metro. Rooms are nice and modern however the cleaning service could be improved. The menu is limited and food isn't worth paying for the pizza is clearly frozen, sandwiches came out soggy, and the chicken burger look liked and tasted like it was the food off the floor not even real chicken. Staff are rude was told I couldn't have what I wanted because she didn't want to make it and waited 10 minutes to be given a menu waiter then set the table and walked off and had to go up to the bar and put my order in. Seem to look after their own very well but don't care about there foreign guests. Room was wrong when we arrived and they made us wait a till the following day to switch and stated it was my fault for checking in late despite emailing them prior to advise it's be a late check in as my flight was late. Won't stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 night during the summer holidays — it never seemed to get particularly busy. Before we arrived, we had read a number of mixed reviews and were a little concerned. We need not have been. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. So, here are the pros and cons of our visit. Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean hotel. Quiet pool and generally quiet area. Free shuttle to Metro. Comfortable rooms and beds. Cons: Bistro/bar had limited menu. It is in the suburbs (I guess if you did your research then you would know this already) which meant very little in way of local restaurants.

Nice hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms cleaned or tidied daily, well beds made, towels were not changed, even tho they were left on floor for changing, they were folded and put back on rack. Pool was ok. However for a hotel with up to 300 guests they have only got 25 sun beds despite having lots of space to have more. There is a sign saying that there is no life guard, this makes me think that if they have more sun beds they need to employ a life guard. There is no shops or cafes within a mile walk of the hotel and the hotel took advantage of this with there prices. We ordered two small coffees two very small orange juices and a sandwich with cheese. We where charged 25 Euro. For the same breakfast at all the other cafes we visited during or stay paid no more than 16 Euro. The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill. They do provide a curtesy shuttle service for a few hours in the morning, but with the current taxi strike the hotel was pretty hard to get back to at night. Overall nice wee hotel bit costly and out of the way.

Nice hotel, a bit far from the action in the city. Nice rooms and a pool. If you wanna use the hot tub and the sauna next to the fitnesroom in the basement you need to order time at the front desk. But no extra charge. Only downside is the pool I sent heatet.

Very nice hotel with nice amenities. Breakfast great choice! The room is spacious and clean. Flat for the distance with the center, especially since it's the taxi strike. Too bad there are no shuttles from the hotel. Professional staff for the most part… a nice little waiter bar side with customers… I would recommend this hotel!

A pretty good hotel, it just need a little refresher in term of room / bathroom quality.
I stayed with a few colleagues for just one night and the team was really nice to us.
The room I had was large and really clean but it was a little bit rusty in term of quality, I guess a little makeover isn't going to hurt.
Other than that, the breakfast was more than enough, nothing to complain about it (I loved the local delicacies from Catalunya, a charming touch).
I didn't have the time to test the pool.
Regarding the location, it's true that it's a little bit far from the center of the city but if you're working in the neighbourhood that's a nice place.
I gladly recommend this hotel if you need only to stay for a couple of nights for a professional trip!

Very good hotel to spend a few days in Barcelona. If you also have consultations in the hospital San Juan de Dios, ideal. It's very close. Very clean and very attentive. Metro to 7minutos walking and 5 minutes bus to go to downtown. He eats very well. They have outdoor pool and an idea terrace.

For me, anywhere I stay, particularly with my kids, is made good or bad by the people we meet. Everyone we met at the Garden hotel were very welcoming, kind and made us feel relaxed, so on top of a good room and nice location it made it a special place and made traveling with children easier. Gracias.

We stayed for a week with a 1, 5 years old baby and felt very comfortable in a room with a balcony. Facilities are more than ok for the money we paid. Breakfast and the restaurant are very nice.

Room big and cosy, bed very comfortable, amenities very complete, good views of the city and the staff is very friendly and professional. The only drawback for me is the carpeted floor, but I must say that it looks very clean.

Hotel near the office and close to diagonal, although if the idea is the center of Barcelona, then it is a little unhandled.
The breakfast was great with a lot of variety of all kinds.
The rooms are fine although at no time I was able to control the temperature and when going to sleep I was always very hot but cold during the night.
The Wi-Fi in the room did not work very well during the afternoon. At night (with fewer people connected I imagine) I was going much faster.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. As I need to be in the hospital SJdD, the hotel is perfectly located for me. It also only takes 20 min by car or 30 min by metro to get to plaza Catalunya. Restaurant is also very nice and there are sufficient facilities like the gym, a sauna, …

The rooms are nice with good commodities. The hotel is not that far from the Airport but is a little far from the center of Barcelona. However, you can still reach the center with a single train. All in all, a good stay. P. S. If you want to talk the hotel is uphill.

Hello good evening I have two questions for the Abba Garden Hotel. I would like to go for Valentine's Day and spend a nice night 1. It would be possible to get in and out of the hotel to buy some things: candles petals and make a nice decoration to my girl. Esque I have found that I have been to several hotels and in many do not dejava me out or anything.
2. It would be possible to bring breakfast to the room or not. Thanks a lot.

Nice clean and big rooms. Heating worked well in winter. Nice large bathrooms. Excellent breakfast and nice staff. It is 15min by foot from metro that takes you to or from the metro. It is on a slight hill, so beware if you are not fit :) Could not find any place to eat or drink except in the hotel bar, eventhough it is very near the zona universitaria. Overall, very good hotel!

I attended the paddle tennis court. The front desk was friendly and no problem.

Great hotel, we were not disappointed quite the contrary. We were able to enjoy the large swimming pool, the Jacouzzi, the gym, the sauna and a small tennis corner. Small swing corner for the little ones.
Breakfast very good and also small restaurant very appreciable. Very well served and nice service.
Room on the second floor and very nice seen on the town with small balcony. Only downside is the parking lot. No place next door to park, forced to take the car park at 20 euros/day.

It's a very cool hotel. It has garden areas and the rooms are large. They also have a parking that you can book by Parkapp to get discounts.

Good place if you have to go to San Joan de Deu Hospital especially.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the room was very good, although the maintenance of the hallways and rooms left a lot to be desired, especially the carpeting of both hallways and the inside of the bedroom (quite dirty) apart from charging more than 5 euros for a botellin of plastic water (a robbery) would qualify as a 3 star hotel.

I've been to a convention this weekend at the hotel. And I'd like to do a review of the restaurant. The quality does not correspond to that of a 4 * hotel. I'm a vegetarian, and there wasn't much to choose from. There's nothing to say, because it's my choice. I ordered some spinach croquettes, some wild potatoes and glass bread with tomato.
Well, the croquettes seemed of everything but artisans, the ration of bread had 4 pieces, two of which tiny and the bravas were a bowl of potatoes bathed with a huge amount of fried tomato. Inedible for me. Nothing to do with some brave potatoes.
The coulant I asked for dessert, I didn't have a waste heart. I've had Q return it. I have prepared another, which was a little better, but it was not a quality product or well elaborated.

Love the rooms and it is really cosy and affordable. The only downside is the steep slope that you have to climb to get to the hotel if you are coming by bus (or worst, metro). It might be better taking a taxi to get to the hotel instead. On weekday, they also have a shuttle bus service to the nearby area, such as the metro or congress area.

A small hotel near Cataunya congress, 10 minutes walking. Nice clean room with good breakfast.

The hotel is comfortable. It is located successfully. The rooms are good. Cleaning is timely. Water only on the chek-in day. The restaurant is not attentive waiters. I had to ask the administrator for help. Then the question with the waiter was settled. I recommend starting the work of the pool from 08-00, if weather conditions allow it.

A lovely place, I mostly go there in the evening for dinner. The food is quite tasty, the waiters are very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the atmosphere, while a bit quiet, is calm and soothing after a long day. There is also the option to sit at tables outside which I have yet to take advantage of, but I bet it's amazing to be out there drinking an ice cold drink and feel the breeze. Rarely, it can be a bit hectic and the exhausted waiters tend to get run off their feet, and as a result ordering food can take a while. But all in all, a great place and I really would recommend giving this place a try. Thank you Abba Garden!

A very nice, quiet place but at the same time very central, camp nou is on foot distance and you can take the metro (6-10min walk) to the places you'd like to go. The hotel is close to Parque de Servantes, a beautiful rose park where you can wonder through before you go to the city. The food was delicious and very helpfull, warm staff. Thank you Abba Garden!

Having stayed only 1 month ago and receiving excellent service and lovely food it seemed the obvious choice when returning. After a long day and wanting to relax and sleep we were put next to a young family that were very noisy staying up late and waking around 6.00am (so not very relaxing). I wanted to watch the TV and called to reception asking for a remote control as ours was missing, this never arrived. It would of been handy to drown out the noisy neighbours! Bed was very hard! Room was dated! Food was very good! Staff were friendly!

The stay has been short. But we have seen several shortcomings. In the room, the beds are very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are dirty with remains of mold and cal at the faucets. The roofs of the bathroom very dirty and worn. Very attentive reception service. At the bar, after 10 min waiting on the terrace not us attended nobody, so opted to enter after a ratin we attended a waitress (of the 4 he had) that it seemed that you were missing arms and legs gave the impression that it was the only one who worked in the cafeteria. That if very attentive, friendly and helpful. La carte in the cafeteria is a little scarce to give supper to children. Should of put any sandwich or sandwiches. The buffet breakfast is fine but should offer fresh orange juice is noticed was pot and for 14 euros it costs well deserves a natural juice.

Hotel is located uphill from Zona Universitària metro station (suggest to have walking instructions from the Metro). I used to walk up and down to Palau de Congressos de Catalunya — Congress center mornings and evening as my daily exercise. The room and bathroom (suggest to provide with shampoo) are clean (the bed cover in room 128 has a stain) allow good rest. The first floor corridor needs face lifting as it is painted with old fashion green oil color like hospital. Advise to have breakfast as part of the deal. Served the purpose.

The suite is great since it offers a unique couples experience since you can surprise your partner with a unique and original evening. I found poor service at the front desk… as if they were overwhelmed working, not explained us the advantages of the suite and it was I who had to remind them that wanted to rise me breakfast room and we had included pk. In the morning they forgot get breakfast, we had to claim it and became frozen eggs. Nor had discounts Illa indicating the reservation. And when we call for breakfast instead of apologize for forgetting were we asked to abandonaramos the room up to clean it. We went the night of new year's Eve because he was good looking and a good price. Hotel a little away from the metro. Friendly staff, room spotless and well equipped (heating, large balcony with hammock, large comfortable bed, minibar, whirlpool, coffee machine, …). It is a right hotel. A little old, you will not go wrong reform. The friendly staff. A little isolated from the center but as you know from the start. Level of services was correct that it will build more in the winter.

We stayed one night, it really doesn't seem like a 4 star hotel, I would give it 3. The room was fine, we lack some things, like the shower lost water, and the minibar quite poor. The breakfast was ok (buffet) was quite full, however this could be extended. Best of all, the tranquility that had been around, there seemed to be Barcelona. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the facilities and wellness because of lack of time.

Wi-fi didn't work at all in the room and worked very badly at the reception. When we were out, women who clean the room switched off the light, the mini-bar was also switched off and all our food (quite expensive) got spoiled. Quite far from the city centre. This hotel has a good location with the plus of being behind the Hospital Sant Joan Deu. It has a spacious and comfortable rooms. It also has pool and restaurant bar. I recommend you to eat outside the hotel because the food is not very good in relation to the price. The Wi-Fi service is a little slow.
