Room with no light light at the bottom of an air shaft. No daylight at all! Feels like a tomb.

Except for the central location,
But to be a four star leaves a lot to be desired.
Upon our arrival, the room was not ready and was delivered to us after an hour of waiting :
The Gym consists only essentially of an exercise bike and a treadmill, no weights or benches
SPA consists only of a small sauna and a cold shower
The "Solarium" very in quotes because for half the day it is in the shade, faces a boisterous nursery that makes it impossible to relax
Breakfast is not included and you pay 16 euros a day, luckily the area is very central and is full of bars.

Rooms are nice and quiet, service is good, great location. Plus it has free breakfast. Overall, not half bad.

The staff are kind and helpful. The location is highly convenient to eating and shopping in Barcelona. The view from my room was not fantastic, but the room is comfortable and clean. The elevators are small, but fast. I'm not sure how handicapped accessibility works, because there are steps up to the elevators, but there is a girl in a wheelchair here, so it must be possible. The breakfasts are quite good.

A "4-star" hotel right in Barcelona. Well positive: it's only 5 min to the metro (means you reach anywhere in bcn) and a bus stop is directly in front. The rooms are ok and very clean. Negative: staff is not really friendly (one exception) — no greeting, no information if you don't ask explicit (for example breakfast times). Breakfast makes you feel unwelcome an hour before it officially ends because they clear up already.

Four years ago it was better. We noticed the hotel somewhat aged. The attention of an old gentleman in the counter, with attitude not of service and very regular. When asking a taxi tells me: Go out to the street and there you get it.

A wonderful treasure in this lovely 4 star hotel. Warm and inviting, this hotel offers everything one could want whilst traveling. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was comforting. This is now my “go to” hotel in Barcelona. Loved it!

The rooms are small, but location wise it is great. Good breakfast.

Enjoyed my time there everything went well great bedroom for me and herself. The food menu on the day of arrival was basic enough and on a busy street. Overall good stay and would return.

We stayed here in August 2017. Great location, the hotel is really smart and our room was very clean & comfortable. Really good price. Would definitely stay there again.

Stay was great. No complaints about the room itself. The issues were like noises, god awful Wi-Fi, & restaurant not open for late dinner or drinking.

I have only been to the cafeteria, good option if you want a quiet place to stay, although D3 decor cold and unwelcoming, the man who was at the front desk or deigned look at me until after 1 minute of clock I called the attention, Little tells of his attention to the customer.

Habitaciin Perfect, small gym but with little occupation, very full breakfast and very central.

Comfortable hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms, spa services available, buffet breakfast available, and very reasonable prices for Barcelona.

The hotel is very well located near Diagonal and Rambla Catalunya. Clean room and very comfortable beds.

Home, staff, frame, cleanliness: Correct the room does not have any outside opening.

Overall, this is a good choice as the rooms are pleasant, beds comfortable, hot water in shower, and location is perfect. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, could not have been better. The included buffet breakfast had something for everyone. The only downside for us was the room temperature at night. Even though we turned down the temp to 15C, about 60F, it was still too warm to sleep under the covers. The cover consisted of a comforter in a duvet. No way to shed the duvet and sleep under a sheet as there was no sheet. So we were either too hot or too cold. However the bedding was immaculately clean and fresh.

Friendly, professional, very clean, good location — 5 minutę walk to Metro, definitely recommend it.

A clean room, comfortable bed and great breakfast (one of the best we have had) — what more could one ask! The Hotel was situated near the Diagonal Metro and also easy walk into the city. It was a good city break at the Hotel Balmoral.

Good hotel at a very good location — the start of la rambla. The receptionists were very nice. It was worth the money we paid.

Good hotel for the money. Hotel is within walking distance to most everything. Bathroom was musty and room was dark. Given the location, nice hot showers, and price I would stay again.

It was a beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly staff. There were drinks in the lobby available every day to refresh guests. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection with many healthy options.

We are very, very satisfy with our stay at the Balmoral Hotel. We had an amazing experience during our stay that even the staff were very welcoming. The staff made it so wonderful that we are looking for similar hotel for our next vacation in December. Thank you for making us feel right at home!

Very clean and friendly Hotel. Unfortunately I did not have a way to try NE breakfast in the restaurant.

I arrived at Abba-Balmoral Hotel late in the afternoon after a long day of international travel. I was greeted by an extremely friendly and accommodating front desk staff. I was welcomed and helped to my room with my luggage. I was VERY happy with the room. Nice hard wood flooring, very updated and contemporary and a lovely, modern bathroom. Plus — there is air conditioning which was a welcome respite on a hot day. I was directed to a nearby restaurant for tapas and was close to great shopping and people watching. I did not have a long stay but awoke to a fantastic breakfast in the restaurant prior to having a taxi called. All in all, I would recommend this hotel strongly. You won't be disappointed.

I was little time, by reason of an interview. Recives good treatment, service, spaces welcome. A hotel where stay is.

Reception and lobby were tastefully decorated, food was excellent, spa services were well done, although having additional staff may be helpful to your guests. Location was ideal for sightseeing via public transportation. Staff were multi lingual and helpful.

Great hotel however the sauna and roof top deck were not in operation when we were there. But great place to stay that's close to alot of places.

This was our second visit to the Balmoral hotel. It has a great location close to shopping and restaurants and offers a great value for travelers. Fast internet, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Very good location. Staff attentive and generally efficient. Proper cleaning. Applications to the bar are well catered. At breakfast the staff is somewhat slow replace food as well as organize the tables for those who arrive.

Front desk staff were fine. Bar attendant and in room not satisfied with. Sliding doors wouldn't lock, Staff entered the room without waiting for a response. Charged almost 3 Eu for some ice.

Mr. That I attended when entering the parking lot, very well. I gave a square more than acceptable.

Person that I attended at reception, it seemed a little despistada. I did not know very well what I had reserved.

Professionalism and willingness of staff. Excellent breakfast. The only observation is regarding the single room with window to "nothing".

All staff was very kind and helpful. Room 411's shower can REALLY be improved: shower head with damaged gum outputs spitting water all around, damaged hose that pinched and stopped the flow when you raised it, resulting in suddenly cold water gush, and old generation faucet with no temperature setting. The room's safe is nice, first time I can place a 15'' laptop inside. Wifi range is a problem for smartphones, power is too low and connection is really bad. Laptops work fine however. Nice self-service computers (last generation iMacs) in the lobby, but a self-service printer would be nice too. Nice little attentions all around the lobby like candies or beverages.

Stay was great, the hotel and the rooms are very new and modern furnishings. The staff was always very helpful. The location is great — on the one hand not in the hustle and bustle yet very centrally located to achieve much on foot.

Great service and attention to the customer, but it is a little expensive.
It was very hot even with the thermostat off. There is a column amid annoying enough, and more in our case that we have a baby with cart. Put us wedge, great for that, although the three steps of the entrance to the lift are very uncomfortable.

The hotel is well located and very clean, but large defect is flowing meter and when you're in bed, you notice the tremor and heard noise every 5-10 minutes. A disaster, since she was dead and I couldn't sleep.
I also commented at the front desk and they told me that it was normal.

The hotel staff stole my laptop right out of my hotel room. The insurance refused to pay for it. I don't trust the staff at the hotel and would never recommend it to anyone.

As the hotel is very good, very comfortable and very well located. But we had a bad experience the last day with the treatment received.

Book 3 months ago for 2 nights and they gave me a dark room on the first floor was a wall. Spend two nights of hell, the subway passes under or near, and the noise and vibration will not allowed to paste eye. The Concierge of the night was sitting in his site, but almost confundias with a doll, or moved, or you would say something and not be heard of who came in or went out. Clean Hotel with large rooms and well located. I was surprised as the hotel Group Abba had acquired this gem, which does not correspond with other Hotels in their Group. I would not recommend it, and I feel sorry for the Employees who are all very friendly unless the toy that put in the nights.

A very grateful hotel in Barcelona, nor very centered not far removed, and also with a good quality-price balance. The rooms are nice and more or less modern. The Interior a little light, missing since the windows overlook a ventilation shaft. Helpful on reception and buffet not excessively broad, but pretty good, and good quality.

Very noisy hotel, the ground trembles every 2 minutes. The rear rooms are very unpleasant. Almost non-existent room service menu.

Service low! nice and excellent locate, but service low for this price range. Even the rooms are small, breakfast not exceptional for this range and all clarifications up to the client. Due to the bad service I wouln't stay once again.
