Great hotel for families and younger couples looking to be walking distance to shopping and the beach. Hotel bar has the best Manhattan in Barcelona. Bartender recommends going up to see the sunrise for a view of the ocean.

Bumptious place. In a good and a bad kind of way. Our group had a splendid time there. The staff was nice and charming. But everything is so fake — like in a plastic world. I guess that's kind of a package deal if you serve medium gin (Hendricks) with low standard tonic (Schweppes) at a top price (210€ a bottle) and pretend everything is top notch premium.

The hotel itself is nice with its outdoor heated swimmingpool, but the room was a bit shabby considering the price. And what is the use of a water cooker if there are no cups? Is the guest expected to bring his own cups?

I am totally disappointed by the level Melia hotel. No compassion. No help. False promises. Shame on you.

Great hotel Nice staff quiet location and good transport links. Everything you need is nearby. Distance to the city centre 20min. With public Vdrkehrsmittel or taxi 15min walk to the beach.

Good looking, good design, good service. Chic and business oriented. The bedroom are well designed but you could face to some lack of noisy air conditioner, leaking water in bathroom and non working lights. I've had all those problems in my bedroom… So 1 star lost on evaluation.

The buffet breakfast manager (Elder, my apologies about the name) is not a kind person. Your position requires a high standard treat for the guest and own staff. In conclusion he is not a gentleman. He must care about his personal care because his smell is not appropriate. He must use perfum or take a shower.

Spectacular views from the 24th floor… it is a shame the attention of the staff… slow not the next three tables for three waiters and at the end we left without taking anything after waiting more than 20 minutes for 3 tonics… with how beautiful that space is.

Very helpful cheerful staff. Nothing too much trouble. In a really good location in the quieter part of the city, 15 minute walk from the beach and near lots of bars and restaurants. Buses and the metro are near by and taxis frequent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very nice especially if you like cakes … so many to choose from.

A disgrace. Slow, and €20 for a bad sandwich and €6 for a Coca-Cola. Of course + €4 room service… regrettable… breakfast… would not reach a 2. Bad coffee. Don't go back.

Very poor value for money. Room was good but the bathroom was clean. There's no bar at 1. Ice in Room 4, €5, water 5, €5. Amazing.

In a room for three there are only 2 beds, in real the hotel has nothing to do with the photos. In our room we were able to find cockroaches. Extremely disappointed with this hotel which is enormously expensive, the hotel is not worth its taken I would not advise everyone.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… We've been to this hotel chilling at the pool for a public event. The place is cool, trendy and the music is great. The only "bad" thing I will point out are the waiters always pressing… Either for drinks or for food. We were unable to chillout as they were permanently asking if we wanted something… If we want something we will ask for it… This is not being polite or concerned it is being persisted and press in order to sell…

Very good reception at the hotel. The staff are dedicated, kind and very responsive. Bravo.
Breakfast and hearty and quality. The rooms are quite spacious. Ours was not a very early youth. Even if the various services are of quality, they do not deserve 5 stars (carpets worn and not clean; VIP service with maps (Menus) spotted etc…) Too bad because again the staff is in the small care for you.
The hotel is located north of Barcelona not far from the sea (about 20 minutes from the Sagrada Familia). You can reach the historic centre of Barcelona in about 30 minutes via bus/tram and Metro.
In the end we were enchanted even though the hotel is too far out of the historical center.

I and my husband chose this hotel to spend our wedding night. We did not like the treatment they gave us, I called before taking the room informing that it was for a wedding night and that Llegariamos late, besides, I put it in the comments when booking. When we got to the hotel they called our attention to arrive so late and without warning according to them, I asked for an ibuprofen for the headache and they told me Quen I did not give it because it was forbidden, we had to decorate the room and neither did, and sea views… The room was facing the sea, but the sea was a fine line in the Orizonte Jajajaa. What if we liked is that they corrected the fact of not having prepared the room giving us a bottle of cava, they let us make the late check out afternoon without any cost and that the room was beautiful.

Excellent hotel! 100% recommended. Spacious and comfortable rooms with stunning sea views. The Level area is one more reason to stay here.

A luxurious and exquisite breakfast with some helpful and affable waiters.

Good hotel. The view is good. But little far from the beach and city center. Very good breakfast.

Very nice Hotel and cared for in details, it is a shame to see that the employees of the Office front are treated so badly by their superiors.

Modern and trendy building. Seems a little dark and confined in the corridors because the building is thin and the rooms all face out but you soon get used to it. The room was we'll equiped but the window from the room to the bathroom was a little strange. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful but the service could be a little slow. Restaurant was limited for vegetarians but they did their best to accomadate. Sky bar was lovely both atmosphere and view. Pool was small but had a nice feel to it and the food from the bar there was very good. All in all good but not excellent.

The rooms are large and modern, but opening the windows is impossible. Very friendly and helpful Staff. No real Fitness and only small Spa area but a very nice outdoor Pool with Bar. Location could be better but isn't terrible.

Five-star Hotel in front, not worth 4. The room was very small They are all close to the elevators which are always on the move and from one room to the other the sound insulation is totally absent. If there is wind you hear a lot of noise on the windows. The shower is tiny, the bed uncomfortable. The hallways stink and the carpet is dirty.
I had dinner at the restaurant on the top floor, food of mediocre level and in very small quantities. At the arrival of the dessert the room was inundated with a pestilent odor that forced us to escape.
Very bad breakfast too: it is very varied but besides not being written about what it is (for any intolerances), it is impossible to find a free table with napkin and cutlery. After stopping a waiter I waited 5 minutes before it came with cutlery but in the end I was unable to get even a napkin. Ridiculous.

Generally good, but a lot of things already take. And TV in the rooms though LCD, but one of the first, it looks like:) shows not Ahti. No bathrobes nor slippers in room no. Priced at 170 € per night for sure should have been better.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Great views and lovely staff at the front desk and in the bar. Everything about it was great! I also thought the little gym was very nice. The only complaint would be that the shower water has no consistency whatsoever — scalding one second and freezing the next. But the showers are huge so you can easily get out of the way! :) Would stay again, even though it's a bit out of the way, particularly if you're going to main touristy things. Not hard to get anywhere in the city though, and taxis are cheap.

A hotel very cool for all types of people who want quiet and the beach is very close. The service is excellent, very attentive, you feel at home. The part of the tmb excellent cocktails, because if you don't know what you will say what you like, and prepare you it to your liking.

Here for a conference. The conference rooms are not great and the hotel requires some weird things like full payment upfront. Not the best in a great city like Barcelona.

Hotel is becoming dated. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated from cold to scalding. There was a couple of conferences at the hotel and the hotel seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. The breakfast is great. The views are good. The staff is helpful.

A very urban hotel. Dedicated to young people and which cares for their tastes. Very nice environment with chillout music. A restaurant of 10.

Professional staff, clean and modern rooms. The conference room lacks good media setup. There is only private access to the the rooftop terrace.

We spend here our wedding night. We arrived about 5 a. M. After the party and the girl at reception was excellent. The room on the floor 16 with extraordinary views of Barcelona. Complete buffet breakfast. Very advisable.

The new Meliá Sky Barcelona hotel terrace is called The Place.  It is located on the ground floor of the hotel and its letters are healthy cuisine, homemade with natural raw material and proximity in a natural environment and cool the kitchen.

I've been to the hotel twice, first to a dinner at the restaurant and I can say that it has a very modern, original atmosphere and quality food; for my taste, the music was pretty high and not seemed very cozy. The excellent staff, very friendly. The second time I was was in the spa to spend a relaxing moment; they have beautiful views from there, it is small but we had for us alone, the girls who attended us were very sympathetic. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a moment as a couple.

I haven't stayed at the hotel but I have tried their YHI Wellness spa (run by the prestigious brand +Silom Spa) and loved it. It's a bit small, but it's never crowded and since I went with some friends, we had the whole space to ourselves. After enjoying the jacuzzi and pool, we tried the sauna and, afterwards, we had some really nice teas while we relaxed.

Hotel besieged in the District 22 @, near stops of subway, bus and tram. The price is reasonable for the quality. The rooms are bright and clean. The service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is correct in quality and quantity, without great fanfare. It has two restaurants of quality, above all on the 24th floor. It has a terrace where of can drinks overlooking the sea.

They claim 5 stars, but I say 4, mostly for the lack of service at breakfast (seating, coffee), lack of information when booking (limitation of offer). Very nice views from the bed with those floor to ceiling windows. Small, but decent spa. All in all, some very nice extras, but they come at a high price of course. 18-20 October 2013.

It renamed to Melia Barcelona Sky, a member of ME group. We held a partner conference here on Aug, 2013. The service is good, but the room and facility is a bit out-maintained.

A modern hotel in a modern district. The view from the rooms is terrific. The rooms are perfectly adequate not just huge, but for a city hotel. Between bath and room there is a large window; very original! The pool area on the roof terrace is chic and stylish design. However, there are only a few concerns. From the hotel to the beach, walking, walking 15 minutes. The nearest Metro is 5 minutes; the tram stops practically at the door.

Beautiful hotel/room, very nice breakfast (love the fresh orange juice and fresh variated fruit), details that makes your stay feel luxurious were well planned and successful. I Liked their little gym that served water, fruit and appreciated that it was open 24h considering the working hours I had. The only reason why this isnt getting 5 stars from me is because of something I never thought I'd have an issue with: The ventilation in the room! At the end of my stay I really felt that the air was bad and my clothes smelled really funny/bad. Perhaps it was just my room, since for the rest of the experience I think they really nailed it.
