I stayed in the Hotel for three nights. The room was smelly and there were wet spots on the ceiling (probably caused by the air condition above. The check-in lasted a long time in comparison to other hotels. The room service was not greeting when I said good morning (each time) which does feel kind of odd. My shower was not fixed correctly so it permanently kept rolling upward while showering. What was good: The breakfast, the bed.

Our line of ten people booked six standard rooms, planned to stay for 3 days, paid the deposit in advance. Upon arrival, he was told that there were only three rooms. After several representations, he waited one hours to vacate the other three rooms. The five rooms obtained were less than 10 square meters. Reluctantly stayed overnight, the next day for us to change the room is reasonable. Hotel Front desk service is poor, room soundproofing is also very poor.
The next day really couldn't stand it, and all the staff changed the hotel. I have traveled to many cities around the world and stayed in many hotels. This is the fourth time I have come to Barcelona. Three days, this hotel made me change rooms two times, changed the hotel once, leaving a bad impression. Give poor reviews!

I just loved the hotel was clean beautiful and especially well received there is Spa the Hamam ect. It is great to rest or to visit it is right in the city center and the view and beautiful ❤

Very well. The rooftop pool is a must, beautiful view of Barcelona day and night. Very professional staff.

Advantages: The location is very convenient and the service is good. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Disadvantages: If you see the picture of the swimming pool on the roof and feel excited, I would like to tell you that, it is a very small pool. You probably will be disappointed by this. The room is very loud, you can hear the crazy traffic downstairs when you open the window for some fresh air. The air condition is making wird voice. In the evening, if your neighbor watches TV, you will hear everything. In the night there will be some loud machine sound from the elevator, which lasts 15 seconds from time to time, really annoying.

It's all good! A flat on staff uniforms. Mr. Director, gave them a uniform at their size, nine and renewed their color. Thank you.

Would not recommend staying here. Terrible shabby rooms, audibility from the avenue such that in the earplugs to fall asleep is impossible, and if you settle on the lower floor, from the early morning until late at night will hear the noise from the restaurant.

Good facilities… A bit far out of the city of planning to walk to destinations, but close to the metro. Spa facilities are excellent, make sure you book if you want to use. Breakfast is good value for money, with all you can eat buffet for just 10 euros.

The value for money is really high! The hotel offers a wealth of facilities including a SPA, an outdoor swimming pool, Japanese food, sandwiches, hot dishes at low prices, very clean spacious spaces, even above my expectations! Towels changed daily, courtesy kit always replaced room tidy and clean to perfection. Comfortable and quiet area even late at night. There is a metro stop below the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is pretty good, but. They want to take the hotel with 4 people and walk through the door without any purpose. More than 40 minutes to do the checkin, of course, there was a problem and alone. There was a person, then wait loaded like a mule to attend you, then the doors would not open… It is a hotel of wanting and not being able.

Nice rooms, clean and fragrant… very good staff and great location… what more do you want? I will definitely be back and will recommend.

It was fantastic. Was here for my honeymoon with my wife and it it was clean, perfect and the spa was amazing! Breakfast was delicious and always varied every day! Bed was super comfy and pillows were too! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona!

The hotel is below my expectations. The rooms are acceptable but at the limit. The rooftop pool is gross. Breakfast on the other hand is fantastic.

I was there to see the F1 tests. Structure adjacent to the line stop 1 and LE Metro (Clot). The structure was recently renovated.

The hotel is located in a very central location and many attractions can be reached on foot. The rooms are classy and contemporary, in the hallway you can notice the modernization of something, but this is part of it when you spice up an older lady (the first hotel of hotels-Catalonia). Very clean, where to look. The beds are very comfortable. Still worth mentioning is the friendliness of the staff, especially those from the cafeteria, where you can also have a whole meal and tasty tapas to eat or be brought to your room. The gym and the spa in the basement, one can only recommend and is very well furnished. The pool on the 11th floor with a magnificent view over the city, makes you dream. You can use it free of charge when staying at the hotel. Included in the room rate is also the free and unlimited access to the Internet. I can only say if Barcelona, then the Catalonia Atenas. Top and best thanks for the beautiful days.

Very good and excellent reception staff! Great place to stay in Barcelona! We enjoyed the room terrace, as it was much bigger than other hotels, and also gives you enough space to soak under the sun. The area is very nice and residential, with a few bars and restaurants nearby. The room is quite spacious. The room amenities were great too. Will stay here again for sure.

I like this hotel, the stay was very good, they have clean and big rooms. The staff is kind. Very close to the hotel there are subway and bus for city travel and a lot of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Good hotel to stay in Barcelona. It is not very central but if very well connected to public transport, you have 2 metro lines, commuter and several bus lines to go anywhere. In summer the prices are very expensive but if you book with much advance you can get good prices.

The service is of a rare quality, at the reception everything seems possible. The rooms are very nice without being luxurious. The rooftop with its swimming pool offers a sumptuous panorama of the city. As a bonus the hotel has underground parking. I highly recommend this hotel if you go through Barcelona!

Room very clean and the décor very modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the price of €90 per person for a double room for three nights an excellent price-performance ratio. Breakfast and room service, however, could not keep up with the cheap room rates. All in all a great accommodation with great connections, perfect for exploring the beautiful Barcelona.

At first we had problems with the reservation but after we got the room with no problems. Cheap and the room is very good.

Small room. The fourth star has it for its great breakfast but I doubt it will repeat on me next visit. Focused on tourists. The Wi-Fi so saturated that it did not serve despite being connected. Little coverage.

Very bad experience I booked on booking and it had agreed to have the bathtub arrived at the bottom no tub for the spa you have to add a lot of dust I had to take the Ventolin.
A lot of service in the room but do not go to this hotel to be quiet but rather to make night white noise no double glazing and nobody who speaks French no no no no one.

The hotel as a whole is fine, the rooms are small but clean and the spa is small but very well taken care of. The location is not central but being in front of Clot Metro stop is still easy to get to the center.

Nice and friendly Hotel. Clot Metro station is close to the hotel and leads to all attractions in a short time. The rooms are tidy and clean and elegant. Around the hotel there are shops, bars, restaurants and pharmacies. I did not have breakfast in the hotel because it is expensive and nearby there are the Forn de pan that have cappuccino and croissant at affordable price. There is Wi-Fi in the room.

Location/service/comfort is perfect. There is small swimming pool on the roof. And beautiful view. We stayed here per two days and we liked all.

The hotel has completely met my expectations. The breakfast buffet is really great and lack of anything. The parking garage is unfortunately in a bit small but you also come in with a big van in there. Unfortunately the spa/swimming pool €10 entrance fee. Room service and friendliness of the staff are impeccable! Also great is the room to be made until 14:00 pm! The location of the hotel is very good and the Metro station is very close to the road.

Pro: Large room, clean, good location, opposite the Metro L1. Friendly staff.
Cons: The water in the toilet did not drain, neither bath nor washbasin. The elevator to the pool does not work, you must go 4 floors per staircase.

Well located Hotel in Meridian Ave. Good service and clean and well equipped rooms.
To improve the price of breakfast. Very excessive €14 per person (adults).

Lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Can't complain at all. Ate in the restaurant food was tasty especially the paella. Situated 1 minute from clot metro station easy accessible to all places and taxis always easy to get outside. Bakery next door open 24 hrs and is lovely too.

Apply great hotel. Nice location. The metro station is just nearby. Parking costs extra and it's a bit expensive, around 20€) night. Amazing breakfast. I would surely recommend it.

I recommend it! It is clean, people are very kind and while I found myself there during the attack we were very good. It is vicinissomo to the Metro and 30min walk to the beach.

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. The view from the roof was amazing. The roof top pool was very small and the sun loungers could be better. The spa was small but we really enjoyed it. If you like pastries, there's a 24h bakery next door. I would stay here again.

The rooftop view is breathtaking. The pool is a little small but the deck is a great gathering space whose panoramic views are a sight worth seeing. The rooms are also comfortable and clean, and quite spacious for being in such a crowded city. Would definitely recommend this place.

I don't understand why this hotel is so poorly reviewed, I personally had a great time and had to deal with friendly and very helpful people. The cleanliness is excellent and the S. P. A. It is perfect after a stressful day visiting the great and magnificent city of Barcelona.

First room I was placed in had an ash tray and smelt like smoke. I had requested a non smoking room, the phone also didn't work and the floor was peeling up. Second room much better. The roof top is nice! Lobby and bar is very nice. The fitness and spa isn't too bad either! Staff weren't that friendly. I had to ask for my welcome drink and package after they said I didn't get one. As a backpacker I didn't feel welcomed or important. Not the best location for seeing Barcelona besides the sagrada familia and the closed tower. The neighbourhood isn't that great either.

Apparently it's the company's first hotel. The façade is not much because it looks like a simple apartment building but the interior has been renovated and has been equipped with a spa and gym. The terrace on the top floor is small, has a small pool and an area with deckchairs and tables. Beautiful view of Barcelona, a stone's throw from the Sagrada Familia. Location.

Pray that does not touch a room near the elevator core, will cost them enough to sleep. The soundproofing of the rooms on the common spaces is poor, as well as the soundproofing of the rooms the rest of rooms. Yet I still wonder how can it be 4 stars. The style is very outdated for modern times.

I do not recommend it, we traveled with my wife and leave the luggage in the room, they were with padlocks and they manipulated them zippers, they opened and took us money and valuables. Hotel did not respond for nothing and in room check appeared that General Service people came while we were not. The Manager of the hotel not wanted help us at all and we even report it to the police, but they said that in the hotel he spent much that and had done nothing by the administration. I do not recommend it, if then go to another to do so.

Very good stay. The staff very attentive. Water cold and hot. TV with a diversity of channels and languages. Internet in all the structure of the hotel. Refrigerator for those who saved their provisions in long stays. Gym. Pool. Metro about 100 or 200metros a bus stop leaving the hotel's multiple markets around the Central magnificent.

This in the avenida Meridiana in Barcelona, no. 151 (if not remember wrong), between calle Valencia and Mallorca. I've gone several times to distribute food, because am dealer. Is a hotel of 10 plants, with many rooms and distributed very comfortably; as well as a solarium on the top floor. A personal welcome and service of room excellent.

I liked a lot a very complete hotel, people are very attentive, with spa, fitness center, in a good location, and rooms are OK, fair for a 4 star hotel but well.
Prices vary according to season, so that is something more difficult to assess I discounted.

We had money stolen from our room on the first day of our stay. After getting in contact with the front desk and security they said that only the two key cards that were issued to us were used to get into the room, and that there was no sign of a break in, while saying that they were not accusing us of losing the money, suggesting that the money just disappeared. We expressed our concerns greatly to security but they carried on contradicting themselves making it more obvious to us that the hotel staff were clearly behind it. Other than this the actual hotel was lovely and the location was ideal, however this was greatly overlooked by the fact our money was stolen and found it difficult not to let this ruin the holiday.

The hotel itself is quite i. O. The rooms are very small and for the guests only the pool on the roof is in the price included. Small fitness room but quite OK. They're waiting for the lift partially forever so to more quickly arrive at the destination if you would take the stairs. The location is very good. Close to the Metro station El clot. The staff is very friendly and directly responds to incidents.

We tried the room service and it did not work at all. We waited for one hour until we called and asked where our burgers are. They blamed on the place delivering the burgers that they didn't respond. It would be nice by the hotel reception telling the status while you're waiting. Also the opening hours would be nice to have. All this started off by us wanting to have a sushi menu but that wasn't available it turned out after we've been waiting for 15 minutes. Also the first impression when we checked in wasn't very good when we were asked to give a copy of our credit card. It also turned out that the credit card number was showed in clear text on the receipt. This is information that should be protected by having your credit card number not readable, for example, 4920 12XX XXXX XXXX 1234. As an additonal smaller thing, a glass was missing after we arrived in the evening. When we called reception, we got the glass in 15 minutes so that was quick delivery.

Outdated design. The rooms smell as a cigarette mixed with moisture. If you get a room near the elevators it is better to have a heavy sleep because if not…

Very bad experience.
The hotel is far from the sites of interest. It is an old hotel adapted with some renovations, however, when it rains the water gets through the windows into the room. You hear everything what speak in continuous rooms. Expensive for what offers.
All charge extra. They are not responsible and for any problem indicate that you fix one with Booking. Never me back to stay!

Poor organization. Once arrived, parking is full force to park in another hotel. Sauna open until 10 pm, but when we get there book and it is 5 per person and whenever we go! Room not at all like the pictures. Open buffet until 11 pm, but when we're not enough people going to eat so forced to eat outside. Mieu is take another hotel.

Hotel beautiful. Magnificent rooms. Our requests (balcony + bath) have been met. Very nice room with view over Barcelona. Extremely efficient, friendly, friendly staff. The room and the hotel very clean and very classy. The metro stop just opposite very well located, 5 stops from the centre of Barcelona. What I particularly appreciated is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (in particular David) which was really very nice and speaks perfectly good french.

Good qualified rooms and nice facilities. Just gym facility is quite small. That is the point only I didn't like. =)

Nice hotel with a terrasse where you have a view of a part of the city. The metro station is in front of the hotel. Large rooms and beds. The price is correct. The breakfast is nice. A spa is available and a pool on the roof.

The rooms are small, noisy and poorly equipped (for example, no refrigerator). This is not a 4 star level! Luckily, I'm only 2 nights here.

It feels very comfortable in the Hotel and the price is good, good location and facilities, staff is excellent, attentive, kind, nice etc, but everything is ruined when one attempts to use the Spa, the Spa staff is infamous, lack of information and interest, even had an episode of discrimination by being born in Barcelona apparently If you're Indo-European is 30 minutes and strict Prussian, if you have another complexion on the skin or you come from places most varied according to my experience is unlimited, if it were the other way around no one would argue that it would be racism, because I qualify it as well, Prussian and racist treatment by staff of Spa gym and sauna. For more offense when it comes to respect the silence at the Spa we were severely disadvantaged at the expense of the other two users who shared facilities but that Yes did in English, obviously applied sheet claims in reception and refused to give oral explanations since my state of mind and nervousness was not appropriate to expose such shame suffered in front of new customers waiting their turn to enjoy your holidays and did not bother them with fuss riding a mitote. The waiter of the discord offered a brief Pilgrim explanation clearly insufficient to be offensive and insulting to the intellect of anyone having a skull of two centimeters from the front or top.

Pleasant enough, would stay there again.

Outrageous. A hotel that prides itself on having 4 stars and who loses a reservation? After 5 h of road are we dreaming, especially with a toddler. Parking, much worse, even public car parks are better arranged. The rooms were extremely bad. Stay away!
A big fail. Scandalous reception, nobody tries to help you, worse, they loose you booking even if you got a ticket voucher. Parking is so desastrous. Quiet does not exist, you can hear almost every conversation from rooms surrounding you. Please don't make the same mistake as I did. Run.

Rooms large and comfortable, the reception bar is nice, has Wi-Fi free and with good signal, the bathroom has a glass door that wasn't me and does not have a bidet, a little away from the Center.

The rooms need a good reform, seeking to charge for that hole they call parking is laughing.
In summary, taking into account the offer hospitality of the city does not recommend it, and I have visited more than 20 hotels here.

the garage a disaster, the room from the time of paco Martínez soria, very excasito in general. Small rooms, 4 stops to ramblas street.

My boyfriend and I had the perfect vacation in Barcelona while staying at Catalonia Atenas. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was bountiful and delicious and the location was amazing (right next door to the Metro (Clot Station). The pool and sundeck was an added bonus and our room in the 6th floor was ample for the both of us (loved the bidet! ). We booked through Air Transat so our hotel was included with the package and airfare. Very affordable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants value, comfort and convenience. The hotel is easy to reach being in one of the main avenues in Barcelona. It has a metro station just in front, with main lines, so it is well connected with sites such as Plaza Catalunya or Plaza of Spain. It is 10 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia. Rooms are correct and the bathroom is fine. Employees in reception very friendly and even simpa´ticos, at all times awaiting us to search any thing or information that necesitasemos.
