We were here for a festival that takes place on the grounds right next to the festival so there were a few friends staying at the hotel with us which was really fun. One thing to note is that if you pay extra for a "sea view" room, you will be facing the festival and will not being going to sleep until the last band of the night is finished which some nights may be at 4am. I've stayed at this AC before, and I have to state that it seems that it's become a little worn this year. The bathrooms look like they need a bit of updating — I could see the wear around and under the sink. The closets don't really make much sense — they could be designed better with more room. In fact now that I mention it the whole room could be laid out better in general. The towels seem a little thin, less luxurious, and even the amenities — I don't remember the toiletries being a no-name brand before. The lobby once had a light fragrance, now is outrageously overwhelming like a person who overdid their cologne. I've never rented a car before when I stayed here, but we did this time and found that the driveway to parking only fits one car, which can be rather dodgy. But we never had an issue finding a parking spot which was appreciated. I still liked staying at the AC however, and that is because their staff is SO NICE. I've stayed at the hotel across the street and the one on the same block and the people who work at the AC are by far the nicest and most accommodating. That really goes a long way.

From the moment we checked in to the hotel everyone was so kind and welcoming. We were only here for a night as we were supposed to make that our beach day. Rain prevented us from checking out the beach but we did check out the rooftop pool. They also have a bar/restaurant up there so be sure to check that out as well. We booked the smallest room type but it was pretty consistent with European room sizes. We will be back.

The quality hotel. Prices are above average. Nothing annoying. The kitchen is of high quality.

The room was very clean. The front desk was helpful. Housekeeping was hospitable as they gave me the amenities that I needed. The hotel was located in a good place as the beach was nearby as well as bus tours to pick you up.

Very close to Mar Bella where u can find a skate park and a looong beach. Amazing location. Nice pool. Good food. Quite noisy.

Excellent location. Next to CCIB. Ocean view room is best room choice. Ideal for business trips. Pool is small and more for people to relax with drinks rather than swim. Breakfast choice good but sadly lacking fried or boiled eggs, the scrambled eggs had texture of being made from reconstituted egg rather than fresh eggs. It is good for 4 star hotel but the location make it 5 star cost. Diagonal Mar shopping mall and public beach very near. Taxis plentiful. Although there were some children I think this hotel suits for business and training trips to CCIB. Would happily stay here again.

Very nice. Swimming pool on the 13th floor!

Nice airy big rooms. Best thing is that the a/c is able to live up to my demand. This has been a major issue in a lot of hotels in Europe. Will post more after I check out.

The review is from the day & Nit restaurant where we had an excellent meal!
Quality and quantity with a very good presentation of dishes and a very elegant place.
First I had a creamy pumpkin, poached egg and delicious truffle oil. Second pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and apple with pepper sauce, and finally the dessert orange cream and carquinyolis that was exquisite!
The wine is also very good.
Highly recommended!

Don't want to be even nice to people need's on whatever. For me as entrpeneur in hospitality business and student of this business aways with my attention over this kind of behviour. I was looking on different requests on front desk and this hotel as a 4 star is not capable to deal with this. For me one of differential points in this kind of business is the customer attention and carry on personal needs. This hotel is far from this.

Awesome location. Little far off from tourist spots, but well connected. Spacious and clean rooms. Good food. Basic Wi-Fi is free. Have a mall with everything right adjacent to it. Loved the stay. Pool on 13th floor.

Conveniently located next to CCIB and with a subway station in close proximity, too. Friendly and competent staff. Very good breakfast and bar. The views from the rooms are nice but rooms are a bit small compared to similar hotels.

A normal hotel. Cool rooms If you have sea view. Cleanliness could improve. The location is very good. Quiet and with quick access to everything. I would catalogue him as 3 stars and not 4.

Nice hotel, at the height of its standing (4 stars). It remains a bit away from the hyper Center even if at 3min walk from the Metro station (line L4 — El Maresme fòrum). You can afford luxury at an affordable price thanks to this eccentric side.

Excellent location, services and attention. The restaurant on the 13th floor is of great atmosphere and the dishes are delicious.

Best place I stayed because it is close to the subway, beach and the mall. The hotel is clean. Love the smell at the lobby. The concierge personnel are all great and the most accommodating in the hotel. The front desk people are kind of selective of people they want to serve though.

Tiny rooms, free Internet only 512 kbps, if you want faster — pay! … a lot! Breakfasts are OK but I expected a bit more for that price. Go for 3* hotel, they are often better than this one.

Very good hotel, although located pretty far from the center of Barcelona. To get to the center you need to take the metro for about 30-40 minutes. The good thing about this hotel is that it's located next to the Primark and not very far from the beach and the sea either.

One of the flagships of the chain in BCN. Fully updated and well connected to the historic center by the diagonal tram. You have a shopping mall opposite right, plus in summer pool and beach;)

I find it shameful the treatment received by the reservation service of this hotel. After hiring a weekend with them, in my work they cancelled the days I had been granted. I wrote an email to the hotel to see if they could cancel the penalty. Well, 2 days after the reservation have not had any detail or the deference to answer me. Not even to tell me that you can't cancel the penalty. I find it shameful. Of course I will consider this deference to me and I will not use your services anywhere. Thank you for the kindness in answering me.

Very well located if one goes to the CCIB. For tourism is far from everything. Excellent bar on the terrace, not be missed. The rooms are spacious for the average of Barcelona but I found several problems. The walls are so thin that you listen to everything that goes on around. The light tables don't have drawers. The lights… If you turn one on all, impossible to extinguish one single. There's no bell boy in the driveway. If you ask for it they appear.

Good hotel, it's not close to the centre and every touristic thing will require you to take public transport however its very well linked with buses, metro and tram stations at a 2 min walk from the main door. Rooms are comfy and they're what you expect from a marriot. The rooftop pool is good however as the hotel is quite far away you don't get the best of views. If you had the chance get a city view room instead of a sea view one. Only thing that puts my review down is that we were forced to move in the middle of our stay to another room because something (that we never managed to find out) was broken in the bathroom.

Amazing price-quality ratio. The rooms are clean and have free Wi-Fi access. A few minutes walk to the beach. Excellent location. Shower cubicle tiny, it's the only negative.

Beautiful hotel, right on the water in the Forum area. About a 12min subway ride to La Ramba, not bad. Staff was extremely friendly!

Very nice hotel with pleasant service. Very nice views from the room. The TV in the bedroom is huge! The bar is wonderful on the 13th floor; well worth a visit if nothing else but for the views of the city. My only dislike was the bedroom doors are quite thin and one does hear noise from an early hour.

We have checked in today and already we are impressed. Our check-in lady Marta was so welcoming! Our family room is well appointed and the Café by the pool has great staff and food. We overlook the beach on one side and the City on the other. Lovely!

What an amazing experience. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were always happy to provide any information about the area. The rooms were clean and modern, and our sea view room was perfect for our short stay. The hotel discovered it was our anniversary and provided us with a celebratory drink in our room. Good location for conference centre. For the price no dressing gowns, no slippers, no tea or coffee making facilities. Poor service as sent to the wrong room twice with a key that didn't work. Double bedroom with just enough clothes hangers for one and not enough wardrobe height to hang a pair of trousers. Room clean. Good view of the city.

The hotel has nice facilities and great location but what about service some one just forgot all about it I fractured my ankle few weeks before my travel to barcelona so. Wished to make a change to my reservation. The hotel staff was unhelpful, did not answer my calls, did not answer my emails. It was embarrassing and Humilating. No attempt was made by the staff to consider my situation When I pay for a marriott I want to get at least the most basic service.

Modern and mostly friendly and helpful, though walking away from a waiting client is bad manners. That front desk guy was an exception. Sink drain is a bit slow. No kleenex, which is local standard. Sadly, no in room hot drinks. Terrace pool useless in March. Gym has all you need, but some devices should be fixated or heavier to avoid motion. Their coffee has surprisingly poor taste.

A super place to rest and see the city from above.

4 Star building, 1 star service. Our hotel stay started off very well as we were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was modern and felt very new. The pool was also very nice with sun almost all day, the only issue with the pool is that it is small and often cramped. The service here was terrible. We asked for margaritas, which were on the menu, it took the bartender 2 tries to make it and about 20 minutes. When they came, they were so bad we could not take more than a sip. We asked the bartender to exchange the drink with vodka tonics, same price level as the margs, but he did not know how to make them and found it too difficult to follow the 1 part vodka — 3 part tonic instructions. We ended up drinking beers. The food was mediocre, we tasted most of the food on the menu and the only thing that was decent were the chicken fingers and the club sandwich. The breakfast was overpriced and I would recommend saving the 13 euro or 22 euro, price depends on when you purchase the breakfast. Lastly on check out, they automatically processed bill and converted it to US dollars at a very unfavorable exchange rate. I made them credit me back the amount and recharge me in euros only, as my credit card would process the bill with much better rates.

We arrived at 12 o'clock, knowing that check-in is at 3 pm so we give the data, we checked in to the hotel, a walk and let's eat. At 15: 15 h return to the hotel and still had to wait until 4 p. M. To enter the room by that was not clean. It is regrettable in a hotel of this category.

Pros: Big rooms, wooden floors, excellent breakfast, high water pressure in the shower, working aircondition, fast Wi-Fi, nice pool/spa. Cons: Poor TV, no free Wi-Fi on room, not the best cleaning.

The AC Barcelona Forum is a beautiful hotel in a key location.
It adjoins a large shopping centre that does not lack anything, the Parc del Fòrum, extremely well connected thanks to its location in the rounds, 10 minutes from any point of the city.
The rooms are spectacular with simply fantastic views.
I do like this hotel for years is its restaurant, eats great. If it were up for me, its starters of different breads salts and oils would be my diet base :)

This hotel is 10, correcting the opinion above is located in the city of Barcelona, exactly in the District of Poble Nou, and this perfectly communicated with the City Center by tram, metro, bus 10 minutes from Plaza Catalunya by transport public.

I can recommend the Hotel only. We were very surprised, the Hotel convinced in all points. Service staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were always clean. The Pool was on the 13th floor, and man could look on Barcelona and the sea, Top! Even the Minibar in the room was free, not each and every day filled up, there is really often!

Today it is annoying that you charge for using Wi-Fi in your room, if you want to access the internet one minute you have to get to the hall.
