My friend and I stayed here in September 2018 and did not have a good experience. My friend continued to wake up each morning with more insect bites (3 nights — she had 12 bites and I had one). We were initially moved to a different room but continued to have the same problem. Then we left to Madrid and the problem stopped thankfully, as this could have potentially ruined our trip. What was more worriesome about the whole scenario was how dismissive staff were about our concerns. It was suggested to us that she had sustained the bites while walking around Barcelona despite us telling staff that she was only getting new bites upon waking up in the morning. We were told that they searched the room and found no evidence of bugs, but I am sure a hotel who probably routinely deals with bed bugs is aware that a search often times does not yield results as bed bugs are notoriously hard to find. So the next people who are put in that room may also deal with bites and possibly bring them back to their own homes/have to throw our belongings. Initially the hotel looked nice, modern, clean, good location, but the bed bug fiasco really put a damper on things. The way it was managed does not give us faith that concerns were taken seriously and the problem was actually dealt with.

Superb hotel, pleasantly located.

I have only visited the rooftop bar which I find lovely. I love the design and the fact there are lots of green plants. You also have a nice view… but don't expect too much. It's not like AMAZING, it's just a nice place for a afternoon coffee or a glass of wine. There is nothing special to see or anything special on the menu.

Great location The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and orientándonos. Returning to Barcelona, I would choose the hotel again.

I'm not valuing the hotel itself as I have only been to the Penthouse terrace having a few drinks (it's free to access, you get up through the elevator which is vynil with the letters terrace). In winter there are stoves to be warm, and in summer it runs a super nice breeze. Smoking is allowed and the views are spectacular.
The price of the martini is €7.
There are few waiters, it takes a long time to serve you.

Hotel nice. Room wasn't twin as booked. Just 2 beds as one. No dressing gowns as stated. No coffee milk etc had 2 ask. Roof garden was great. 2 far away from the Sea.

Excuse the mess! Hotel in a fantastic location, just a few metres from Gaudí's Casa Batlló. The last minute price was fair enough. The problems are in the first place that the bathroom is "panoramic", I explain better, as you can see from the photos there is a glass panel from which you can see what is doing who is in the bathroom. I didn't find it very decent. The staff is very friendly and there is a private car park (27 euro/day). I expected more from a 4 star hotel. The room that happened to me is not facing the street and is not bright absolutely as you can see. I recommend this hotel for one, maximum two nights stay only for the location.

The place is perfect, right on the Paseo de Gracia but it is an excessively small hotel with a hall of ridiculous measures.

The terrace of the hotel is definitely a nice place to grab and nibble something (no need to be in a hotel room). Views of the city and the main monuments from this Terrace 83, 3. Expensive but nice.

We only spent three days in this hotel, the staff is very courteous and the property is very nice and always clean with a great rooftop terrace for aperitif/after dinner. Great location, accessible to everything and all transport, metro bus and tourist bus, beautiful area near the Pedrera and batllo house!

Great location for shopping, eating, sightseeing, transportation… Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming and porter (can't remember his name) was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us with tourist information. Hotel really lovely but our room was a little dark due to direction it faced however it might be completely different on a sunnier day or even in the summer. Loved the communal area and cocktail bar. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food and catered for everyone. Would definitely stay at hotel again.

Stayed here for a week in the heart of Barcelona. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. They provided us with wonderful service and were so helpful. Realy enjoyed the roof top Terrace. Nice atmosphere, beautiful view and Felix made the best cocktails! They also had a wonderful breakfast restaurant with an outdoor patio. The rooms were also excellent. Definately 5

Room is small but nice location you can see Casa Mila every time you enter this hotel.

Great hotel in the center of town with spacious rooms helpful staff. Great for a family of four. Only problem was we had a leak in our bathrooms, but still enjoyed our stay.

Stayed there in September 16 2016. Front desk Staff is absolutely helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect. You can literally get around the entire city by catching mass transportation (including taxi) from it's door steps. The waiting staff in the restaurants (especially during breakfast) are extremely busy. The breakfast is "sub-par" and the main reason many degrade their reviews. The rooftop bar is just good and could see improvement in dining. Overall I would stay again and would reccomend it.

Rooms were good and service was a whole other level. I was always greeted with a smile and the staff are always ready to help. Everyone went the extra mile to lend a helping hand.

We were for a corporate event. The attendance was very good. It fulfilled the expectations.

Fantastic location, next to la Pedrera. The rooms are very good, big bathroom, comfortable bed. The service is very nice and I would recommend the breakfast, very complete with Catalan products fantastic.

For a start the location is exceptional! In the heart of Paseo de Gracia in the middle of the street of la Pedrera, Spectacular! The rooms are great, all very clean and very nice design. The staff of ten, we were treated great and recommended us a few restaurants where we ate had a great time. The breakfast is very varied and the small garden just to the side ideal. Would thrilled.

Hotel is very beautiful and nice! Very central location, everything is at the side of the hotel. The Hotel staff is very attentive, nice and friendly. We have obtained all the information and services orders. The breakfast has been a blast, good assortment and in a very relaxed atmosphere and quiet. We will return without a doubt! Highly recommended and at a good price.

The worst Hotel. The management are not client friendly. Or certainly, people working in Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia under the management dont care about their business. It seems they want to neglect their duties and avoid any responsibility towards clients.

The location is excellent, in the best area of Barcelona a few steps from la Pedrera. The room we loved it, very new and comfortable with a private terrace overlooking the passeig de gracia. What we call more attention was its terrace on the last floor with some incredible views of the entire city.
