Room service opened the door while I was inside on my chones… The lady apologized. Room was clean, I must not forget the experience of navigating the elevator… practical! The location was very centralized, close to Las Ramblas, nice walk around town and close to the subway.

Staff very friendly. Coffee and tea 24 hours. Great location. Breakfast optional.

My experience was a bit bad, the bathroom smelled like drainage, and the Wi-Fi signal did not catch the signal was lost. On the other hand they have a place where you get free coffee and bread at all hours.

The overpriced room with the flair of an operating room was not only dirty and noisy, the advertised welcome drink we didn't get once on demand. That despite check-in time from 14:00 we could not enter our room until 15:00 did not make our impression any better.

I have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel as part of a hen party of 11 and have nothing but good things to say! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the staff could not do enough for us — they went above and beyond, especially Pedro who when we asked about taxis, walked outside with us to the taxi rank round the corner and even told the taxi driver where we needed to go! If you are looking for a hotel that is clean, comfortable and in a great central location this is it. Also a special thanks to the other male member of staff that we encountered — I'm not sure what his name was but he helped me understand the Spanish instructions for some medication I had bought and put up with us coming back from a night out shouting "la cuenta por favor"! I will definitely be back — thanks Hotel Ginebra!

Strategic position to visit the major attractions of the city, under the hotel there is the metro station and several bus stops (for example, 24-port casa batló, la pedrera and park guell that is a little out of hand). The hotel is very clean and tidy, our room and bathroom were also spacious and bright, we were on the first floor. Thanks also to the staff who welcomed us with a detailed map and good advice!

Amazing location! It's at one of the corners of Catalunya square. It's near to everything; food, transportation, the hop-on-hop-off station… the staff are extremely friendly, the rooms great.

This hotel is within a larger building. When you get to the entrance you have to buzz in and then they will unlock the main door. When you get inside, you will not find the hotel lobby. You have to go to the 3rd floor. The lobby is very small and basic but the staff is super super nice. The check in was smooth and the gentleman walked use through everything. He showed us where the laundry room was, the iron, and the living room area etc. Highly recommended!

To start this fourth-floor of a community of neighbors, you have to enter a very dark and old staircase, at the end there is a lift tiny in which hardly enter the suitcases. My husband and I stayed in a double room with private bath and had an AMAZING view of Plaza de Catalunya from our balcony. The room itself was simple but nice; perfect for the budget traveler. It had a large bathroom, as well. The staff was very friendly — — the man speaks quite a bit of English, although the lady doesn't speak as much. She was really helpful late one night when my husband was sick and places were closing. The hotel is within walking distance of nearly everything one would want to see in Barcelona and right across the street from a metro stop. I would highly recommend this place for anyone whose travel style is simple and whose number one priority is location. Great little place.

Terrific, the best in the area for quality price. Very cheap to be in the Centre of Barcelona. We could visit the city without having to make almost trips. Walk we visit las Ramblas, the Gothic quarter, La pedrera and just a bus card were able to visit the Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, Montjuic. Very comfortable to be in the Center wanted to do some shopping and didn't have to carry the shopping all day, to eat we were surrounded by many well known restaurants we also did our gastronomic route. Our room had lovely views to plaza de Cataluña, a luxury drink coffee in the morning watching the sunny plaza of Catalonia, very comfortable beds, had a TV of plasma with usb port luckily carry our laptop with some films which made us more entertaining our stay, the room also had free Wi-Fi.
Also had a machine air conditioning cold-heat but it was not necessary to use it because we agree in a very warm climate and the evening also had a radiator that was lit automatically.
