I liked the hotel. The staff are great. Breakfasts are very good. The room is better with windows in the yard — we were changed without question. Minus — parking is paid and not cheap, you need to be prepared for this. In general, a solid five.

Really nice place, they thought it was my birthday and I had a cake waiting in my room when I got back from a trip out, great staff really helpful.

Advertised as 4 star and fits that bill. Small hotel but very nice and clean. Comfortable beds, good decor. Friendly, helpful staff, food very good even if lunch a bit expensive. Breakfast and dinner really good although dinner menu a little restricted. A little out of the city centre but very close to two metro stations so that compensates. Gym available but did not use. Will return to Barcelona and may well go back to this hotel.

Great place to stay in Barcelona :)! All staff was very friendly (reception, restaurant, housekeeping etc. ). They do their best to make everyone feel good. Very beautiful lobby and pool area! Hearty Breakfast & clean rooms. After a day full of action in Barcelona, I felt like coming home.

Excellent stay. Welcome Cava and Treats. Very good deal. The beds independent of the best I have tried in hotels. Variety of pillows. Free Nesspreso service in the room. Cosy and quiet washbasin, although with the shower the water had Q control its "evasion"
Overall very satisfied for the €111 of a night instead with great variety of everything and very well communicated.

Good location for the price, 5 minutes from a Metro station. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds for a restful sleep. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. No complaints whatsoever.

In a strategic area a stone's throw from the Fountains of light. Breakfast very generous and varied courteous and helpful staff, pool and nice garden. Possibility of parking for vehicles. Only sore note the room, below expectations for those asking for a triple.

Overpriced compared to the offer. With just 15 euro more per night I moved to a real 4 stars hotel in a great location.

Rooms not ready when they should be told us we’d have to wait until after 6pm to check in! our room had plug sockets hanging out of the wall and broken windows when we told them about it they moved us to another room but downgraded us without refunding the extra paid. On checkout day — maids constantly knocking on the door from 9am trying to rush us for the room that we didn’t have to leave until 12pm! then as if that wasn’t enough I then get a male member of staff walk in on me. A female guest getting dressed! Completely unnecessary and disgusting from a hotel like this — I would never stay in your hotel again and you’ve ruined my few days in Barcelona!

Personel Super welcoming and friendly, noisy location but close to Sants station and metro lines (you can not have everything).

Hotel no doubt with a lot of elegance, from the facade and the door, even the smallest detail of the room, the lobby, decorated with much taste, full of shelves with books. And in the background is the access to the pool. The lovely room, impeccable. And when you get to work is thanks to feel comfortable. The breakfast with lots of variety of candy, fruit, salty… the only flaw is that the coffee is machine. The service of hotel 10, friendly, and very helpful. This conveniently located attached to the train station, the plaza of spain, would definitely repeat. Excellent.

Bad experience. We went to this hotel with a smartbox for two nights. Small room, vigilante bed. No 4-star treatment. The walls of the rooms absolutely paper mache. In the morning we wake up early for incessant noises coming from the corridor. When we left we found that they had lifted the carpet producing debris and dust that filled the corridor just outside the room. No one warned us the night before and no one apologized for the inconvenience. We had to ask us for a room change which we were given only in the afternoon. Poor reception and no information. The breakfast is plentiful but with the ham green cooked and the raw dried and visibly old. Experience not to be repeated. Better than the two star hotels I'm used to!

Good location Good facilities and very friendly staff.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station. The hotel is pretty far from most of the touristy parts of the city so if you want to see most of that, you're in for a walk. There is a small grocery store located next to the hotel which is great for purchasing forgotten toiletries or getting food.

Nice hotel, good service, hearty and varied breakfast. Only cons The soundproofing of the rooms and the noise of the permanent air conditioning. Close to the Sants station.

Excellent location, 2 steps from Sants Station and 2 other stops of different Metro lines, very nice staff, room fairly clean and adequate to the level of the hotel, we have to return to Barcelona we staying gladly again.

Nice, cozy, and nice Hotel, in the Esquerra de l'Eixample. Just a step away from the Sants train station. You can walk to the Paseo de Gracia. With very nice Hall, and an interior terrace, with outdoor swimming pool.

My wife and myself stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary. We received a cava on arrival and the staff were extremely helpful when we were asking for directions. I would definately stay here again in the future.

Four stars worth four stars. Comfortable and close to city services and transportation. Reasonable price for good care.

Cozy. Affordable. Very friendly staff. Located a 5-minute walk from Sants station, with high-speed access, commuter trains and airport shuttle. Plaza de España, trade show at 10 minutes walk. Nespresso coffee Detallazo in the room, plus a gift of coffee capsules, milk… Oh, and an iron with his ironing board in the room.

Very well located and the staff gave us a perfect attention but the room really bad because it didn't close the window well and there was a lot of noise all night.

The hotel is great, nick was a fantastic staff member, very helpful, polite. The other 2 that we met on Saturday night left a lot to be desired for. There attitude stinks and through broken Spanish I was able to pick up the comment they made about us as we returned to the hotel and re-checked in. Location is fantastic and quality of rooms is great. We could not try the room service as it was never available despite the hotel advertising 24hr room service. The one major reason we have marked down the hotel is simply the cleaning teams. I have never in my life experienced a noisier time to be in a hotel. Daily from 7am all you hear is slamming doors, vacuuming and very loud obnoxious conversations down the corridor. It would be more appropriate if staff members were conscious of the fact that people on holiday tend to like to sleep in a little. We could never manage longer than 7:45am due to the noise… I can't say I would try itaca again and certainly won't take the gamble on H10 hotels in Barcelona again.

Great rooms. Great food. Great staff. The shower fluctuated in temperature and water gets on the floor too easy (hence minus one star). And the bar only has one beer on tap.

Good morning. At the time of booking we were asked to pay 50 euros deposit or leave a photocopy of the credit card. As we have denied the request of the receptionist (it is an abuse, plus the number of the card and had it at the time of booking) we threatened not to let the hotel enter and then send to empty the bar. No words. A 4 star hotel and so little category. We came here for one night, to the Elton John concert and we couldn't imagine that such an incident could happen. The hotel if you want to carry out the policy of charging in advance or already presumes that the client will be an insolvent moors, please notify it on the WEB and in the hotel in the conditions of reservation.

This was a nice hotel and my husband and I were impressed with the breakfast and just the overall quality. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We traveled for two weeks throughout Europe on a budget and this by far was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in. We're from the U. S. And I think we're used to a different hotel experience in the U. S. But when you're traveling on a budget in Europe, you have to adjust your expectations a little. It is a little further away from some of the tourist stuff in Barcelona, but really that's one of the reasons we liked it so much. We enjoyed walking the neighborhoods nearby and eating tapas at some of the more "local" restaurants. Don't be afraid to just walk the streets and get an authentic experience. We felt 100% safe everywhere we walked in Barcelona (and we did A LOT of walking). My one and only complaint was that our shower partition leaked which caused a mess on the floor every time we used it.

Decent hotel well placed for train station.

The hotel itself was nice, the location was not the best, but the service was terrible. We paid for a room, which was still a nice room with a queen bed, and the Air Conditioner was not working. We walked down to tell them and they said sure someone will be right up to fix it. We waited patiently in our room. No one showed up. Then we went back down to see what happened and they said the maintenance left. And we were like ok but why didn't you tell us. They said because we went. They didn't call us to let us know so we waited for nothing. Then we asked if we can get a different room and there was one available but it was 50 euro more. We said why can't we just be upgraded for the inconvenience. They said they had another room but smaller they could put us in. We tried asking for the other because we don't want a smaller room for the same price but then they said the larger room wasn't available. So we said fine and got the smaller room. It was a bed my girlfriend and I barely fit on. They said well upgrade you tomorrow. So the next day we went out to explore Barcelona and we were out all day. Since the hotel wasn't in a convenient location, we couldn't get back until later on in the evening. We got back and they said they couldn't upgrade us again because we didn't come back. We were upset and we were like fine it doesn't matter. We'll work on getting a credit back. We complained when we arrived home and they kept apologizing that they should have just given us the room.

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are quiet. Shower water temperature is not stable and fluctuates from hot to cold.

Nice clean hotel, good room, reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the nice pool patio and jacuzzi were both under repair during our stay.

A good hotel to visit Barcelona. Located beside Sants, for the one who comes in Ave is a marvel. Regarding the very good treatment, we were offered a welcome drink at the hotel, kept us luggage without any compromise both when we arrived as when we went. The buffet, came with the room, very full and varied: fruit, salty, sweet, cava, had everything. Maybe more pastries, but had to homemade cakes. Space garden with a mini pool have a place of relaxation that is very well, in the shade, while you take a cocktail. If I come back, it is a good choice. Moverese Center, ramblas, etc, is fast, 3 metro line, and 4 short stops. Very well located.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel 24 and 25/03. The welcome is warm and what doesn't spoil anything in french. The parking under the hotel is a plus. Nice, well insulated room at the window level, but not the bedroom door that one is obliged to slam out (no latch. ). The breakfast is fabulous. Worthy of a high quality brunch. The restaurant the evening offers an affordable menu (starter, main course and dessert) for €22. Proximity to Central station and the tourist Bus stop. The hotel also delivers tickets. It is central enough as to the centre of the Eixample. We were delighted: Nicole and Elian from 34.

What a great hotel. Great for couples or business people. Not really good if you have young children. Staff are really friendly and the food is really nice.

It's all very clean! The rooms are cleaned every day and we enjoyed the stay. But I would never recommend to send postcards there, because they will never arrive, as in my case.

I was some time ago. The hotel is very good and the service is perfect! The room price is reasonable considering that it is next to Sants station so if you hurry in the morning, is perfect. It is not noisy, and above all there is a mini gym with sauna as well as a hot tub shared with any other view. The downside is that the rooms are very small and that the swimming pool is only for wet feet. It is not a true pool.

Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Greeted with champagne on arrival. Breakfast buffet was brilliant and well worth €10. Pool is small but jacuzzi and sauna were very good. Staff were very professional and always so friendly. Will stay again.

Still a very good hotel with convenient location close to the Sants train station. Was already several times here and appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms. Many small, but very practical details, such as. The charging station for mobile phones (bring USB cable is sufficient, the power supply can home stay. ) facilitate your stay. The breakfast buffet is great and can take on far more expensive houses easily's (also a Nespresso machine is available but is something hidden. ). At the last visit I have appreciated each the attention and friendliness, unfortunately the hotel in this respect has somewhat waned, too bad. (So, a glass of Cava was this time but not offered earlier at check-in, stood the bottle while but I liked to ask the receptionists not if he does not even ask). Nevertheless, Itaca remains a very good hotel with a very good price / performance ratio.

Very clean and nice hotel. Strongly recommend the breakfast buffet! Pool is ok although just 80cm deep. We will be back! ♥.
