The position is the best in Plaça Catalunya, where you can take bus and metro to go everywhere you want. The staff is very great, kind and professional. The rooms are comfortable, but a little bit little. I stayed in a room on the Rambla and it was wonderful. The room was also clean.

Very friendly service! The right facilities, the price is somewhat high for a hotel a little come to less. Unbeatable location.

My friend and I stayed for 5 days. It was located in a heart of Barcelona and it was very easy to travel to major touristic places (especially we had a 2 days pass for hop and on bus so it stopped at very near to our hotel). The food in Barcelona is cheap and reasonable prices so we decided to only book for room to sleep (so we don't have to worry about the time to go back to hotel). I certainly recommend you to stay here if you want to see a lot of things, like to shop or visit the market or restaurants (ramblas street are known for it). About right for the price. Much like what I expected. Big double room and big bathroom. Original old hotel at the top of La Rambla. I had good view from my room over the city rooftops, towards Montjuic,, lovely gliding Swallows every morning. Shame the Wi-Fi was so erratic. Very friendly and helpful reception staff (specially Senor Jefe) and the cleaning team staff. Needs a facelift but after touring Spain for 5 weeks I needed a comfy bed for 3 nights to enjoy Barca again. Comfortable and welcoming. Gracias Someone said the breakfast was great. They didnt tell me about bfast.

Location is great but the receptionist's english is foul and misleading. I almost flew back to get my credit card. The people there make you think they know english but they don’t so be very careful and always double check they really did understand what you said. Breakfast is pretty poor there.

Very nice hotel. Excellent location, both to get around the promenade and to take the Metro or a bus. Shops around, both to buy clothes and to eat or drink something. The hotel has Wi-Fi. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is an elevator.

I agree with most of users. The cleaning can be improved. The room is too cold and the building is too old, however the breakfast is great.

Hotel modesto para alojamiento y poder visitar Barcelona. La habitación individual es algo pequeña, pero funcional. La unica pega es que la Wi-Fi es algo lenta y, para trabajo, no es la mejor opcion. Cama correcta y baño también. La ubicación es muy buena y la gente de recepcion muy antenta.

Terrible. They do not correspond the pictures of presentation on the Internet with the reality. Breakfast and cleanliness. A lot of maintenance is missing. If it is very well located.

The first night we were given a very small room for two and for the second night request I would change and it was much better. Wide in every way, good view. Thank you.

For the price I paid excellent, I went with a friend to backpacking I came out almost like a hostel.

1 — the entrance of the Hotel is inside the Store of Watches we take a lot of time to find it … 2 — Once we arrived, they gave to us a room A — very tight B — not City view C — two separate beds Then we back to receptionist no availability than this or if you want to leave your money is not refundable. With no options to solve the problem… After long conversation they change the room to be city View … but still tight and two separate beds. The beak fast (one kind of Chess one kind of Turkey one kind of Salami) no varieties no changes in the 3 days Last thing you have to bay 70 Cent TAX extra for each night … Location is So So Good, Super Clean hotel, elevator available but it’s too lazy. Great location and perfect hotel to spend a weekend. Very friendly staff and very good price. For the rest of the rooms remained in the middle of the years 80 very clean but cold because of draughts. Indecent bedspreads. All these defects are compensated by the position.

The room we are using is quite large. Room and bathroom are clean but a little tired. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable.

The best thing is the location. It was easy to find it in front of Plaza Catalunya. That if, it confuses a little in the entrance the fact that there is the sign of the hotel but one sees when entering a watchmaking. At the bottom of the clock is an elevator and there is the tiny reception of the hotel. The room was comfortable although outdated for the taste of the most modern people.
Something positive for me is that the room I got has NO carpet (or carpet) : It is a ceramic floor that in my opinion gives a more clean appearance.
The room was clean and the bathroom was comfortable. We renewed the sanitary role during the stay and had shampoo.
The Wi-Fi worked very well for me.
The downside is that you hear everything they talk about the adjoining room. They lack isonorizar the rooms.
I got a room at the front of the building. No outside noise as it did not face the street. I include photos from the view of my window. There was an adjoining terrace with many pots and plants. It was nice.

For the Catalonia square, the transportation is convenient, the airport or the long-distance train, wears the continent to go through the province, very convenient, next to Limbus Avenue, the coming and coming.

Location is just amazing. Basically have no window and there isn't a hair dryer, room (and hotel) looks a bit dated, but considering the location and the price and everything in general, it's an awesome place to stay when visitin Barcelona.

Had a wonderful stay at monegal hotel. Spotless rooms, grest price, lovely shower, excellent location, and friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Barcelona.

The hotel seems adequately nice. Rooms are sparce, but clean. Reception is manned constantly. Location is very good, next to La Rambla and a convenient metro stop.

I was in a single room. The room was very small (in fact the bathroom was bigger than the room itself) without just light. There was a window that looked out into an inner courtyard, but neither was it Serbian to have enough light. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Very clean room. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment. Excellent location and with a subway entrance right at the door!

Spent a few days there a simple hotel clean nice staff very helpful they need to add a fridge to there rooms. Very central near all transportation.

As good a position in Barcelona as you could wish for. Rooms are basic but clean and adequate. Decent continental breakfast.

Great location Nice staff However when I went I was doing some renovations and it was a hell and I talk about this July.

Although the location looks excellent it's too central, locals seem to use this corner to protest anything, 3 demonstrations in 4 night stay for us. Also avoid if it football, the fans celebrate on this corner until 4.30 am after a game. Wifi was poor hardly connects. Staff were great, rooms old fashioned but clean. Lift only caters for 2 people so lots of waiting if you are on a top floor.

The rooms do not agree with the photos of the bookings! Dear and Orroroso!

Very good location easy to get around, hotel is dated and electric heater ok when we had it on but made a noise and got cold quickly lift not working when we were there so walking 4 flights with heavy cases was tough going. Staff friendly very helpful and clean breakfast and coffee machine. Euro134.

The location is good, the staff are friendly, but the rooms are dirty very poor housekeeping.

Great location. Basically in the middle of everything, if you are visiting Barcelona for the first time. Hotel was under construction when we stayed there, so there were issues with air conditioning, a must in warmer months. The plaza gets busy at night, good thing if you like to be in the middle of the action. Not so much if you are looking for a quiet spot to sleep. Plenty of food and shopping around. Front desk staff very helpful.

Don't bother buying their breakfast, it's at best mediocre. There's several cafes in the vicinity with better breakfast, at the same price.
