Review of Hotel Lloret Ramblas 1*

I had reservations for two nights. Location was perfect. Check in time was early afternoon which was lovely. Room a little small but adequate — although we booked a room for three beds and discover third bed was merely a cot. A little disappointing but still ok. After returning from our evening out, we came in and showered. Sadly though we discovered the shower was walk in (it happened to be a handicap room) but Unfortunately the grading was totally off and despite any position of the shower head, the entire bathroom floor would flood. This was a big safety issue as one member had recent back surgery and this was a huge fall risk. There was also no one available to mop up the huge amount of water but we were given extra towels so we could mop up ourselves. We were also told when we requested additional pillows, that there were none available and “maybe tomorrow” they would have some. Also found the “duvet cover” on the “cot” was dirty and no duvet had never been inserted. Since late, we stayed the one night with five large sipping wet towels over the bathroom floor but opted to leave the next morning. When we approached the desk when leaving, we requested a refund for the second night as both safety issues and insufficiency services prevailed but were told no one on site was authorized to complete a refund and we needed to contact booking. Com as we had made the reservation Thru them. But we had paid at the hotel on arrival not thru booking. Com so that makes no sense. We also requested to telephone someone with authority but were denied that also. I was given an email to the hotel to contact, which I have done but I haven’t yet received a reply. I have contact booking. Com and will also be contacting my credit card company to dispute. Update: According to booking. Com, This hotel has refused to reimburse the charges For the second night. As this hotel doesn’t care to deliver appropriate services, future travelers, maybe should opt not to oay until you examine the room.
