This is a beautiful resort style hotel set in the mountains surrounding Cuenca. It’s about a 4.5 mile drive from Cuenca proper along a BEAUTIFUL winding road. Very pet and family friendly, this place is well set up such that you never want to leave. The pool is stunning. There is a billiard table, ping pong table and foosball table in the large game room. The ample breakfast buffet is served in one of the restaurants while lunch and dinner is served in the other more intimate but still unpretentious main restaurant. Everyone working here is knowledgeable of the area (Cuenca), kind and helpful. The room while well maintained, shows a bit of age. There are full blackout curtains on the windows. The AC unit is controlled in room and works very well. A large “party shower” with double rain fall shower heads and two hand held heads round this well appointed, generous home away from home. My only regret is that I didn’t book more time here so that we could relax and enjoy the all of the amenities. I would not hesitate to recommend this property or to stay here again myself given the opportunity.

Charming and welcoming hotel. Inefficient catering service when attending the tables. With the added bonus of wanting to charge us drinks that we had not consumed. The regular letter. Normal breakfast buffet although in my opinion something expensive value for money. 7o.

We loved it! That's exactly what we were looking for. A place to disconnect but only 10 minutes from Cuenca. We went with our baby and our puppy and we all enjoyed it to the fullest!
We had dinner every night at the hotel because the terraces, atmosphere and treatment were worth it!
Without a doubt it is a place to disconnect in the mountains, with all the comforts (pool, several terraces for breakfast, lunch or dinner)
We just went and we already want to come back!

Nice rooms, though they should put a door separating the room from the
Main bed of the sofa bed. Place blinds so that no light enters! The rest is very good. Great facilities and splendid sports area, leaving you sports equipment for free. Breakfast buffet at 7o is a bit expensive with no possibility of breakfast a coffee and is already in the bar.

Very beautiful location with swimming pool and sports fields immersed in nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Interesting location to access the old town from the parking area near the castle. Nearby also possibility to swim and canoe in the frigid waters of Rio Jucar… to try in the summer. The rooms in the older part perhaps would need a refreshment on the walls.

We went this weekend (August 4), one of the hottest of the year. The family duplex room we had booked had no air conditioning (the truth being 3 stars assumed I had it) and the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. We couldn't open the windows at night because they didn't have mosquito nets and in the attic there were wasps when we entered. We went through a horrible heat, almost about to leave. The bathroom dryer, broken and year polka. The attic TELEVISION was not working and the one below looked very bad, with interference.
The pool is ok but full of wasps.
The common facilities of the hotel are renovated and nicely decorated, but the room we were in needed an urgent reform.
Breakfast, very scarce, there was hardly any fruit, terrible coffee, cereals for the past children, and many, many flies. The service was very friendly and helpful.
It's a shame that a beautiful hotel for its history and location doesn't live up to expectations.

It met all the requirements we were looking for. Quiet, the suburbs, comfortable, clean and very good treatment. The food was also very good. 'll.

The rooms are very nice, they are spacious and they have a small fridge. The restaurant didn't seem very good. The tasting menu could be better for what it costs, especially the wine it includes. Breakfast, which is buffet, has nothing homemade. Very friendly to the waiters.

Rural Hotel, located about 2 kilometres from Cuenca. For the summer is great and also to celebrate weddings… But in winter you spend regular. You can be lucky or not that the room works the radiator… but the most serious problem is that some rooms are not well covered, so if it rains you end up having a fatal! Otherwise the hotel is well-decorated.

The rooms of the hotel are very nice and the whole hall and the interior patios are very beautiful and cosy, also it is located in a unique place where you can feel the nature and that is next to the historical district of Cuenca, it is worth much the penalty, the hotel services are also great and I don't think they will feel anything disappointed in this hotel, it's worth it!

They're finishing the remodel. In general it is nice, clean and in a tranquilisimo spot next to the capital basin. The restaurant is very nice and the service spectacular.

Experience of 10. Exceeded my expectations. Great hot tub, spacious room and the interiors are amazing. A puntazo in favor is that it is dogfriendly. We had a great. The only downside to putting one is that the Wi-Fi did not reach our room and there was nothing to cover but I would recommend 100% for a romantic getaway. Attention of 10.

The worst room is not as good as they painted it with us quite badly, one day the heating didn't work, we arrived and we handed the room dirty, and the room was shattered in very poor quality and we have not been compensated for anything.

We have spent a weekend wonderful, close to the city but at the same time quiet, the room maintains a rustic style and cosy, the bed super large, ideal for relaxing after touring the city. The friendly and attentive staff. Very well.

If you are looking for a place anchored in the past, this is your place. Is about km from Cuenca capital, bordering the gorges of the Huecar. It is a place truly unique. But that location seems to which I anchored to the past. This site is not characterized precisely by the energy efficiency. The windows lack not only of isolation, the crystals apart from not being thermal not even have silicone, which leads to have turned on the little oil radiator 24h. None of the bulbs of the room is of low power consumption, all of which are conventional, in the corridors some are fluorescent but the halogens none was LED. Here the return to the past is mandatory, not only for the decoration clearly from the last century or more ago, but there is GSM connectivity, you come here and you're literally incommunicado. Thankfully, the free Wi-Fi works more or less decent, it is the only way to stay connected with the outside world. The basic thing that is the cleaning of the bathroom and the bed is correct, the mattress is comfortable and the pillow also, there are good blankets (necessary when the heat of the night) and the noise is not a problem despite the lack of isolation; being in a place so far away the silence in the night only you can see it disturbed occasionally by the rebuznos of a donkey of the contiguous farm.

Old, tired and needs a lot of work to bring it back up to 1 star standard. The only redeeming feature is the swimming pool.

In this hotel are ones without shame! We stayed this weekend my husband and I with a baby of 1 year and us installed in the 1st floor without elevator! A heat in the room of hell! On the reservation with Booking, does not put anything that you have air conditioning, true, but we look or because in the century in which we are and a city like basin with 32 ° this weekend by the day, man, assumes. But what not is can is that want to open the room to it 1 am because or the girl could sleep of the heat and that are them workers with the drill and itching! A site rustic and pretty close to the city to enjoy everything without suffering the discomforts of the city. Ideal to go in family with children, the environment is very cozy and the service and the facilities are to the height of what is expected. It would no doubt repeat with your eyes closed.

Hotel surroundings very nice, quiet, clean and close to Cuenca. Bufett good. But beds uncomfortable and a little neglected in terms of maintenance of the hotel.

Site very quiet, near basin for power have it hand but far to to be comfortable. Beautiful setting, pool and facilities correct, with any small deficiency attributable to the antiquity of the building (which can be as rustic charm), there is no air conditioning in some rooms (if you got a very warm time… bad). We went to marriage with two daughters in with another double room on the top floor, which is reached by a spiral staircase (uncomfortable but that the girls loved it, clear is, hehe). It would repeat with his eyes closed.

A nice place to rest, 10 km. Of the capital, with beautiful surroundings and cold (for that is in basin) although I think that not is a three star, certainly. The room correct (the somewhat small double bed) with rustic style (i. E. Supposedly antique wood and little furniture). Very simple breakfast with pastries and sausages from the heap. We had dinner one night and I thought it was a proper kitchen to dry. (Of the price not I can say nothing because we had included in the bonus a dinner). In the surroundings there is nothing so you get to stay at the hotel if you like to drink after dinner (or back to the car). The service is very nice and friendly.
