Lovely hotel in the old town, full of character with a fantastic buffet breakfast.

Well located, very friendly treatment, normal price, ideal to visit Cuenca and province. There is paid parking and another free public farther, at the end of the uphill but at a distance of assumed. The noise between rooms sneaks in but is not decisive. The breakfast was good, no frills. A good option to consider.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Glues: small breakdowns (broken blind, a broken bathroom light) that should be fixed, rather bad Wi-Fi and paper walls that allowed the family of the adjoining room to be heard perfectly. The location is perfect.

Very good hotel in the historic center of Cuenca, just 50 meters from the cathedral. A beautiful historic building renovated with very good taste and all modernities, including elevator. The rooms on the Huecar side have spectacular views.

Very spacious and very clean room, we got a double bed and it is a piece of bed, what a comfort! Highly recommended to spend a few days in Cuenca. The only downside I see, is that you hear a lot of adjoining rooms. The breakfast buffet, 10, lots of variety.

Great location. Historic building that used to be a convent. Nice, clean rooms that are modern but keep their historic character. Friendly staff. North Americans will love this historic and mysterious place. Some rooms have views while others may not. Cuenca is a"hidden" gem, like a mini-Toledo but not as crowded.

Beautiful and great place located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. The restaurant we liked, food and tranquility. The room was not nice, we had the window on the roof large and climbing a staircase, but clean and spacious.
Our stay was great, traveling with a child.

"Hotel Convento de Giraldo, in Cuenca. Good location and friendly staff (with some exception). We cannot add any other favorable thing. It is a hotel that does not deserve the four stars it has; There are three and two stars much more interesting. There is no staff to help you with your baggage. It lacks air conditioning and the heating is based on heating elements by the hallways and rooms that you have to operate personally by means of instructions that in writing are on the appliances themselves; Naturally if the heater goes out, when you return to your room you find it cold and it takes time to heat it. The rooms, at least the one that I got, are inhospitable, of terrazzo floor (except in the bathroom) and spartan furniture, they lack even a bank or similar on which to place the suitcase, that you will have to leave on the ground. I was at Easter and I understand that the prices would be higher than usual, but I paid for a room for two people, with breakfast (very average), €220/day, exorbitant for what you actually get. They should lower the category. I'm not.

Hotel en el centro del casco histórico. Se puede pasear a todos los lados interesantes que visitar. El edificio es un antiguo convento. La cena la hicimos en el restaurante del hotel que a la vez es un restaurante abierto al publico. Muy rica la comida y abundante.

Beautiful Hotel. I would not hesitate to come back again just the bathroom would reformed X say something but I would recommend it to everybody.

We were impressed by the room and the stairs of the hotel. Very nice and pricey. We had to leave at dawn for personal matters and we couldn't enjoy the breakfast we had paid for, but at 5:15 we were served a couple of lattes and some cupcakes. Very friendly and attentive. Until 14:15 we were unable to dispose of the room.

I have a hard time finding a fault with this hotel. The room was very clean and the attic was very nice. The reception was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is very spacious and well-equipped. The heating of the hotel perfect in a cold season. Recommended.

I give it one because there is no zero. For work I can't stay more than one night outside and having free rooms force me to pay two nights.
If they treat customers like that… they will never repeat. Luck.

Reformed convent to hotel in the old town of Cuenca. Very close to everything. Every time I have gone for work or leisure I have stayed there both in the vicinity, as for the accommodations and also for the staff, who have always made me good company, especially in the restaurant.

The best located in the city and a luxury service. Breakfast to enjoy.

A great hotel and location in Old Town! We decided after checking in to ask about a room upgrade and got 319, the rooftop room with a Terrace overlooking the entire Town! Just made the stay incredible! Breakfast was good, self service but we'll appointed.

Located in the old town, it's a great place to base yourself from while discovering Cuenca. Receptionist was a bit frosty at first, and my room was based on the 1st floor by the main stairwell, which meant that from 9.30 am, I could hear everything that was going on outside of it. Not great, when you want a bit of a lie in. Room was tidy and well proportioned, twin beds.

Find another place to eat. I was with my family and I went miserable.

Interesting room with no view due to the window being so high. Still a quirky room with oak beams. Staff friendly and English speaking Breakfast is really good.

Few issues with room. Sticking main door and bathroom door. Can hear neighbouring guests using toilet. Breakfast good but lunch and dinner only served in bar area. Service not of a 4 star rating.

That there are no misunderstandings; staff very good; the room; the restaurant-cafeteria can be improved; the cleaning of the room, is a topic by itself and told one of the people of the reception, showing my displeasure. The bathroom mirror had during the three days a blemish on the same site, the remains of cleaning, you see that the person who cleans there does not reach. In the tub next to the mirror there was a long hair black, I'm bald, during the three days. The doors of the room are white, and the wardrobe also, on the inner side which faces the guest room of the half up is acceptable, the bottom half, the moldings were filled with "KK" and I say finely, so miso is the same stuff used to decorate the lower part of the cabinet of the sink in the bathroom. Cleanliness is essential, the hygiene the same and personally I was very disappointed with that theme. Not if it will be in all the rooms, but I was cleaning shone by their absence. Another thing and I just, at night it was very hot in the rooms, I heard people expressing their complaint in this subject, I already had a complain, it is more than likely not return to the same hotel.

Well located but we have spent a lot of heat with the radiator desenchufado. De die and without being able to do anything more than open the window that faced the street and it was all noise.

Everything is OK. Nothing bad and you get what you pay for. Rooms are quite large. You are right where you want to be for exploring old part of Cuenca.

This hotel should be as much as 3-star. Very bad cleaning, small TV and channels. The Wi-Fi very bad.

Date 20 August, 2012 location helpful staff comfortable cleaning not quite a 4 star hotel stains on the bathroom floor and dust in the corners it hurts because for its category, it would be better to control it well. Recommend it by its situation in the basin and the beauty of the old building very clean and good beds.
