I've wanted to write to you for a long time. My experience with you can only be described as RASTREROS. Last year on these dates we booked two nights at your hotel, my partner and I intended to spend a quiet holiday in the north (we are from the south) and for bad luck during our journey on the way we got the car burning down at the height of Palencia. We went first to Bilbao, there the hotel we had booked accepted the logical cencelation of our reservation (we had the crowded Civil Guard). With you and you will be "policy" of reservations I was not possible for this cancellation even having sent all the relevant documentation. With this, I consider that the more than five hundred euros of my that you wrapped that my coast are a real ROBO on your part. So with all the letters I call you LADRONES. And yes, I will one day go to San Sebastian and for sure not to your hotel and of course I will never recommend it and not for my experience with you (which I never had) but for the lack of humanity that you have shown.

When reserving hotel in San Sebastian, looked for hotel with parking included. Booked this one, then when checking out was told that parking was an additional 20 euros. Reception was extremely impolite and unhelpful, saying thait it was incorrect and that we didn’t pay attention. We ended up showing him on the booking application after a ten minute rather uncomfortable debate. He still did not cede. For 235 euros a night and rooms the size of a shoebox, you can find a better place in San Sebastian, and more importantly find a respectful and polite staff.

We stayed here for three nights and were very happy. The rooms are lovely. Location is great and the staff are friendly. We went out for breakfast every day and there are some great spots for this close by. My only criticism and this is a very very small one would be the soap provided in the bathrooms isn't very good.

Nice little hotel in San Sebastián with great location and very cozy. The beds are good and the room was clean. As I said it is in a very very good location really close to the cinema festival building.

The hotel was lovely and included free amenities and complementary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee. The location was also great as it's located in Gros near all the local pintxo bar. Short wall from the beach as well.

This hotel was not as good as promised. The location was quite good but it ends there. Or well the do have complimentary coffee and cava in the evening. But the beds are not that comfy and the pillows are horrendous, and the sound isolation is not good at all, I could hear a family of kids playing loudly all night. So to sum it up you do get a location a coffee and a glas of cava, but when it is time to sleep it's nicer to do that at another place.

Although I only stayed one night the experience was the best. First of all the attention in its reception, the tips about how to get to know the city and the food places, all right, the cleanliness very good. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

Very nice and clean Hotel with lots of services and facilities. They have a free coffee corner for the guests open most of the day in case you want to have a coffee or a soda. Also, it's great located if you want to be close to everything. We went to a two storey suite room and we were very comfortable. Too bad the shower did not work very well as the jet of water came out very loose. Also as a glitch I put that the breakfast room was a little small and we were all a little crowded.

We chose the Arrizul Congress for quality of the hotel and the location. The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. However, our bed needed a new mattress or mattress cover (Room 105). Our children were in a second room and were quite satisfied.

Well located, friendly, although I did not like that, at 10:50 VAT for breakfast and I asked for the room money, when it was my parents and I and my parents were still inside. Removing this incident that was solved without problems. It's all great. Breakfast is not included.

I booked room for two people and at the end came also a daughter and they did not put any glue on including an extra bed.
Friendly staff Although a little unfamiliar with the area, and the garage despite the tablet and the flat to get to it, a bit messyed by the directions of the streets though then walking is next door.

Nice hotel and very good location. Clean rooms, good showers, comfortable bed so only not 5* as (1) the air-con was controlled centrally (strange? ) and when they gave us control it didn't feel like we were in control so woke up very hot in the night (2) the coffee / tea with breakfast wasn't that nice (but the eggs and bacon were great) (3) it was expensive for what it was due to film festival. That said it's a short walk to many of the sights of San Sebastian and the staff were very helpful.

There were multiple examples of bad service and in no situations did the staff take responsibility or provide a solution of corrective action or apologize. Examples include but are not limited to; — Room did not meet expectations, tried to resolve, gave desk clerk room key/card, front desk was too busy to deal with it -Parking was terrible, hard to find, hard to park, no help from staff. When we tried to use the key to retrieve our car it let us into the building but when we went down the elevator it would not let us into the level — 3 parking area. When we returned to the hotel the desk clerks acted as if this was impossible implying we were at fault and said we should just drag our bags to our car. They reluctantly reprogrammed the key and we went back to the parking garage and then the key worked for both the outside door and the parking area. Apparently it was not programmed properly. -Went down to breakfast which was added to our rate. Asked to take coffee and a pastry up to my wife. All hell broke loose. Three different staff members stated loudly and repeatedly that this was not allowed. When I said I was disappointed but understood, it was not enough. They had to keep telling me repeatedly making a scene. Seems as if they may have thought this was silly as did I. Who made this rule? I went across the street and bought her a pastry. This is OK but taking a pastry we paid for to her is not OK?

This is a modern, spotlessly clean hotel in a great location where the staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was compact, the bed comfortable (though I was not mad about the pillows), a great shower and while we had a small balcony overlooking the street we never got to use it because it was too wet when we were there. The hotel provided umbrellas as well as beach towels. They also provided complimentary water and soft drinks in a small mini-bar/fridge in the room. There was also free Wi-Fi, complimentary tea, coffee, water and soft drinks available in the reception area between 12 and 8pm daily — this was a godsend. There were other nice touches like the complimentary glass of Cava on arrival and fresh fruit delivered to our room on our 1st day. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would stay here again.

Excellent stay. The hotel is very new and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay at Arrizul Congress again.

Great hotel. Immaculate, modern with well appointed rooms and fantastic showers (water pressure to die for). Nice touch that water and soft drinks are free (room fridges only stock these). Staff very helpful, we arrived at 10.00 for a 15.00 check-in and they took our bags and called us when our rooms were available. Perfectly positioned 10 minutes from the Old Town (very pleasant walk) and right next to the beach at Gros, which has bars and restaurants worth exploring (try Hildalgo just round the corner, superb food). We had double deluxe rooms which were quite compact, but had sufficient space, including hanging, and we don't travel light. Sound-proofing was fine for us all (rooms on first and fourth floors). We've previously stayed at Hotel Maria Cristina (very nice, no complaints) whose equivalent rooms are a third bigger, but almost three times as expensive and Hotel Arrizul Congress is in the same location. And what you're really paying for in Hotel Maria Cristina is the additional facilities (cocktail bar, restaurants, large gym, pool, etc), which for the majority of visitors to San Sebastian who are there for the restaurants, bars and beaches, don't really get used — we certainly didn't. We go every year and will be staying at Hotel Arrizul Congress in future.

What a great location! We were close to all the important sites yet on a quite street away from the crowds. We were able to walk to and from the bus/train station, old town, beach, restaurants, everything. The hotel was calm and inviting, the room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. They have a spot saved right at the door so you can unload without worrying about blocking traffic.

I really wanted to like this hotel because everyone there was so friendly. But I have to say that the accommodations were incredibly chintzy. First there's the poor construction of the hotel itself which provides no sound insulation between the rooms, the snoring of the person upstairs woke me up in the middle of the night. And the street noise at 2am equally loud. Then there's the perilously tight off-site parking garage a few blocks away. The final straw for me was the staff locking me out of my room before the official check out time. How am I supposed to check out if I'm locked out of my room? Besides you guys have my credit card info. I certainly won't be returning to this hotel but it wasn't a nightmare experience either. Just a lot of cut corners.

Fue una excelente elección, nos quedamos únicamente una noche. Uno de los chavales de la recepción llamado Mikel fue extremadamente amable para con nosotros, en definitiva fue una grata experiencia ser atendidos por este amable caballero. Muy recomendado el hotel, muy centrico, con excelentes habitaciones y a un buen precio.

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds and the service is excellent. The Wi-Fi had very good signal and the breakfast was tasty. However, the hotel is close to quite busy and noisy street.
