We were due to stay here for 2 nights from 6-8th September 2020. I had not heard anything from the hotel so I emailed to ask if they were operating as normal under Covid-19 restrictions. I received a reply saying they were closed but had moved us to a sister hotel 1.6km away without even asking if this was ok! I explained this was not suitable and requested a refund. Eventually, after a couple more emails they agreed to refund me. They asked for my bank details to refund the transaction and said they would refund as soon as possible. 1 week later, no refund so I sent them a reminder email … I got no reply. 2 weeks later, still nothing so sent them another email, again no reply. It’s now 3 weeks and another email sent and as yet, still no reply. I’d advise you stay clear of this hotel chain as they have no customer service whatsoever and are more than happy to keep your money despite promising to refund. Find another hotel!
