We had some drinks in "La Novena", which is the ninth floor of the hotel. I can only review this bar because I didn't sleep there. The bar is roof-open and has a beautiful sight of the cathedral and the castle. The environment there is nice because everything is clean, well organized and people are usually calmed while talking with their friends there and the music choice is usually good. Prices are a bit high, but it is worth it in my opinion. I would totally recommend this place to take your date or have a drink with your friends if you want to talk.

Personal ok. The rooms are old. The bathroom even older. The heater was colder then a fridgeratorr. And you can hear every word your nightboer is sayng. Or doing.

The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. It's pretty hot in the hotel. Breakfast is pretty good and the food and dinner are pretty basic. Standard quality.

Quite interesting and very well located. Among its facilities has several outdoor terrace lounges, bingo that I do not know if it keeps running and disco. It is a classic establishment in Jaén well known for the inhabitants of this beautiful city.

It was all right. Clean room and everything in place. Great views from the room and attentive and friendly staff. Very close to the old town and you can do everything walking. I give four stars for the Wi-Fi signal in the room, a bit unstable, and for the relatively cold breakfast meal.

The rooms in spite of good size are noisy, the Windows do not close well and you hear all the traffic and people passing by the street, in addition to cold, the air that comes out of the ventilation is so small that it gives neither to temper the room besides that the radiator of the BA was off and there was no way to heat it. Good location You can walk to the cathedral. Very large room with a large closet, which is to be appreciated. Clean, comfortable, except in the bathroom, you have the toilet bowl almost in front of the bidet and you have to zigzag to get to the cup, but it is a lesser evil.
As in all the hotels I go to, there are missing plugs to be able to load mobiles, camera, computer… but this happens at all. They have parking and if it is complete, you can go for the same price to the parking opposite. Very good service. Would repeat, without a doubt.

Hotel in the centre of Jaén. It's a few years old and it needs a facelift. The spacious and clean rooms, the Wi-Fi, comes with low intensity to the room. The breakfast buffet, quite complete, although they start to prepare when they open, so first thing in the morning, for example the fruit or tweezers to catch the food, are not ready. They are small details that in a four star hotel should not happen.

The hotel is well located.
The room was OK except the bathroom door which is glass and at night when turning on the light I woke up my partner. There's no bidet either.
The Windows do not isolate the noise enough and you hear all the traffic and the people, and being in the center you could hear noise all night.
The bed very clean and very good.

We assisted to a professional event and the place was so nice. The receptionist attended us kindness and she recommended us different places to visit and to eat. The bar needs more attention but is pleasing to take a coffee.

This is somewhat outdated in decoration but well preserved, good location close to everything and next to the bus station. It has a terrace in the Attic with Cafe pub. On the ground floor there is a restaurant bar and disco.

Really excellent! The rooftop terrace is to die for! Phenomenal view of the cathedral and sounding mountain ranges. Location wise, you definitely can't get better. Call ahead of time to reserve a parking space in their underground parking lot, at the time I made this comment the parking was 12€ day day. Service is excellent! Room is spacious and clean. Two thumbs up!

The location is good, service is very good, rooms is small but good organization.

This is most definitely not a 4-star hotel; on a good day, more like a 2-star. The reception staff of the hotel was very professional, but the rest of this place is a complete shamble. The room was clean, but nothing in there was probably more recent than 1990. The "European" breakfast was an assortment of the cheapest and least palatable food they must have found two days before. The restaurant was even worse. None of the staff spoke a single word of English. I ordered some fish and rice but was served a spoonful of supermarket mayonnaise on top of rubber squid and overcooked rice. Oh, and some parsley on top of it to make it look like there was actually a chef in the kitchen. Disgusting, and way, way overpriced. Avoid both the hotel and the restaurant at all costs.

Excessively high temperature, something that has occurred to me in the previous 2 years and still no fix. Bad smell of sewer in the room. The elevators are always occupied by people who go to the pub roof, I have come to expect more than 10 minutes! Hotel guests should have priority in at least one of the two lifts that there are. Otherwise, all was well.

The hotel condestable… one of the most ancient of the city has great atmosphere and is currently very well known for its terrace and the ninth floor where you can enjoy a wonderful view.

AVOID THIS HOTEL at all costs! I booked a room for one night, with parking. First thing when I arrived at the hotel I was told, "Sorry. The garage is always full. You'll have to park at the municipal lot, but it's the same price, " The muni lot was a block away and when I exited the next day, it was actually 3-4 Euros more. But that's minor compared to the room. When I got there, I couldn't get the air conditioning to work. Staff came up and said, "Sorry, it is a building-wide problem, nothing he could do. " Bear in mind this is Jaen in October, it was 28 outside and at least 30 in the room. I was advised to "Open a window. " I did, and was treated to mosquitoes and street noise all night long. At the front desk, I said this merited a discount. I wasn't expecting a free room, but no AC with 30-degree temperatures… hardly a 4-star hotel. I was told, curtly, "No. " Given the staff's lack of truthfulness, I'm not sure the AC isn't always "broken. " Bottom line, there are lots of other hotels in Jaen. DON'T stay here.

The café is located on the ground 9, this hotel is a pleasant place for a drink and have a good time, with some spectacular views and a friendly staff great. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it. Add that the prices are high compared to other cafes in the city.

Really nice Hotel in the centre of Jaen. Was there for a wedding recently and was very impressed. Great rooftop bar area. Friendly staff, good prices, great location, very nice rooms. Highly recommended.

Large hotel. Clean. Good for business meeting. Nice rooftop bar. Cate point is that the underground parking is VERY small and tight with difficult access.

Disappointed me quite friendly, most waited in a 4 star hotel. The Wi-Fi was slow and was constantly falling, the air conditioning had nothing, old rooms and quite Spartan and the receptionist seemed taken from a wake. The parking is very narrow and oppressive, a vehicle large must make many maneuvers.

I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. They have a disco under the rooms making it impossible to sleep from 2 o'clock in the morning. The service also leaves much to be desired. They just say that they already know of the existence of the problem and point. Nothing nice.

Best thing about the hotel is the location which has, as it is in the very center of the city. What is worse is that there is a nightclub in the same low of the hotel and if you're a weekend makes it impossible to get any sleep with the noise of the cries of the people in the street to get in and out of the disco throughout the night. Impossible to sleep since Thursday.

Tonnes of character, great little bar, wonderful interiors, blast-from-the-past, actual room keys! Always a pleasure; right in the heart of Jaen 8/10.
