Amazing place to stay. Fantastic views and incredible, stand out amazing staff. Everyone here makes your stay special. We enjoyed a relaxed evening at the bar with Sakkie and Sandisa, along with other guests, and being able to “hang out” with staff, as well as the formal side is incredible. Thank you for making our honeymoon even more memorable.

This is by far the best boutique hotel I have stayed. I’ve never been at a place where they pay so much attention to details.
The amazing service starts at the reception with Nicole being very welcoming and helpful, receiving our luggage before the check-in time and later showing the hotel room.
The room has the most comfortable bed ever, the pillows embraced me and gave me the best sleep I got in nearly one month in South Africa.
The balcony has a breathtaking view, I turned it into my office during my stay, it was great to work and have breaks every now and then to try to spot whales and dolphins.
Ah… in my first night I watched the sunrise from my cozy room, it was perfect since it was quite cold outside hehe.
Everything was extremely clean! I’ve never seen a bathtub soooo white in my life haha. They also sanitize remote controls.
Breakfast was also good, they had different types of bread, a very good coffee, and you can also get eggs cooked in any way you would like. I got scrambled eggs with mushrooms and bacon.
I liked the hotel decoration as well, they have some cute fluffy whales all around, apparently, they bought them from a charity place which make everything even more special.

One of of our most loved and most popular boutique hotels along the Cape Whale Coast. The sea view rooms are simply sensational with private balconies and modern facilities. Watch the whales from your balcony or laze by the pool. Take a slow stroll along the cliff path or venture into town for a bite to eat. Afternoon tea is a treat with something special and of course home-baked. Whale season is from June until November. So book soon!

My partner and I have stayed at dozens of hotels all around the world but this experience has been second to none. I am so depressed we only had one night here! It was genuinely such a personal and unique experience from the moment we arrived. Every single staff member goes above and beyond and it is such a pleasure to speak with them all. Natasha provided us with excellent advice on a local eatery to go to and that, too, was just superb. If there were 6 stars available, I’d give this hotel 6 stars! We will definitely be back!

We spent two nice days in Hermanus and were very satisfied with this hotel. The rooms on the third floor had an excellent view of the sea, the center could easily be reached on foot ant the cliff walk starts right across from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helped us organize our stay and excursions. Well recommended!

Lovely, welcoming, and stylish boutique hotel! We had a great time at the One Marine Drive Hotel. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and very well furnished. The bathroom was state of the art and the bed was very comfortable. From our terrace we could glimpse only a tiny bit of ocean, but the hotel is located directly next to the cliff path where we had a great view of the ocean and even saw some whales. Though the ground floor rooms directly open to the breakfast / lounge area, they are quiet because there are two thick doors between open areas and bedroom. The breakfast was good and offered many varieties such as cereal, muffins, little tarts, the usual eggs, fruit, and yoghurt. The managers and employees were very friendly and recommended things to do, even organizing tours for their guests. The dinner recommendation (Lemon Butta) was not our cup of tea, but that's probably due to individual taste. The Hotel has a lot of specially made, cuddly and cute stuffed animals — whales of course. I sincerely recommend you to sell them, as I would have loved to take one home.

This hotel is right on the beach, the staff are super friendly. Getting an ocean side view is highly recommended. I got to see whales from the balcony of the room I was staying in.

This ranks among the very best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed at many. In terms of service, it is the very best. Two small examples. First, my kid had a tummy ache and I asked whether they had a hot water bottle. They said they would bring one to our room. Half an hour later it arrived… because they had gone into town and bought one especially. Second, we had a mediocre dinner experience in town yesterday. I mentioned this, and the fact that the kids were exhausted from our travels and were enjoying some down time in the beautiful hotel. They put two and two together and arranged to have dinner cooked specially for us at the hotel. I could go on… Let me just say that I have never in my life experienced this level of courtesy and attention to detail at a hotel. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Very friendly and informative staff, everything was immaculately clean from the lobby to the dining area to the rooms. The rooms were stunning.
