HGH is affordable, they serve great breakfasts, the staff are super friendly and love the poolside rooms. Its a 5 min walk from Hermanus CBD near those scenic cliffs. A shout out to the Manager for her amazing and delightful breakfast jokes. I hight recommend HGH. — Fran and Dan!

What a wonderful experience we had. A beautifully decorated room with an endless ocean view. Lots of attention to detail, beautiful big bathroom, Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Beautifully decorated with luxury bedding. Delicious breakfast & extremely helpful & friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

Feeling of being home! perfect super bedrooms with great bed and nice outdoor shower… Super friendly staff! Nice breakfast and happy hour is a nice gesture between 17.00 and 19.00 hours… We keep coming back!

Staff helpful and breakfast superb.

Unfortunately this guest house does not follow up the agreements they made. For a special birthday gift we arranged / requested a luxury pool suite on the ground floor. On arrival we were taken to a suite on the 1st floor. I think if you have booked a luxury pool suite it should be on the same level as the pool, but even though we called especially for this. … This was not as per our agreement, which we made months in advance, but it could not be changed as they were fully booked. Besides this we had to wait for 10
minutes on arrival as nobody opened the door which was not very welcoming. As this would be the end of a wonderfull 3 weeks holiday in South Africa this was a big disappointment. A full refund was offered so we decided to accept this and book another hotel.

We had a great stay at this guest house and enjoyed every minute. The staff were very helpful, efficient and most of all, friendly. It almost felt like we were staying with family. The breakfasts were delicious, the views were great and the accommodation was excellent. We would happily recommend this guest house as a great place to stay.

By far the best guest house I have ever stayed in. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms just make me want to live here permanently and it couldn't be at a better location, right at the sea, far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Friendly staff. Stylish and elegant rooms. Sea-facing luxury rooms have unobstructed views of the ocean… you might just see a whale or 2 frolicking out there. Excellent breakfast. Not really suited to a 1 night business travel stay. No restaurant billboard option offered despite recommending the Burgundy restaurant which is just a few minutes walk away.

Great hotel with great service, we had a really big House for 3 persons, with big rooms, big kitchen, big living room, nice big bathrooms. Our accommodation was in front of the Swimmingpool. We had a breakfast for free, really good.

We stayed 1 night in Hermanus unexpectedly and we booked in at the Guesthouse and it was the best experience. Carla was super awesome as she was so welcoming and so friendly. All the staff were very friendly. The room was so comfy and breakfast was awesome.
We will definately be back but this time for longer then 1 night.
Beautiful Town with Beautiful People.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The view was brilliant, room was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. We felt very safe and therefore could completely relax.

We had a concrete wall outside our window, felt like we lived underground. Nice breakfast.
