Situated along the banks of the Olifants River, Wolfkop Camping Villages features kayaking facilities and fishing. Guests can also swim in the river or relax on a hammock by their tent.

Guests can go horse riding just 5 km from Wolfkop, and Citrusdal is 20 km away. Cape Town International Airport is 195 km away.

From take the N1 direction Paarl. Take the N7 turnoff (left) toward Malmesbury. Continue on the N7 for 175km. Take the turn-off right from the N7 highway towards Citrusdal. When you enter Citrusdal, stop at the first stop street and then turn right on Keerom rd and carry on driving for 20km. You will see the entrance to the Grootfontein and Goue Vallei Campsite as it is a big white sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn right there and drive straight down to river where you will find the campsites. Goue Vallei campsite will turn slightly to the right. Follow the signs.
