I had a wonderful weekend with my family. The views are great, friendly staff, rooms are clean lot of fun activities to do. I always wanted to visit this resort and it did meet my expectations even more I will definitely visit again.

I am from Sasolburg and was told to visit the place we had lunch I ordered a fish basket for R175 I was so disappointed of the amount of food on the basket it is a ripoff This basket did not even fill my appetite.

It is a beautiful place, with attractive views. Friendly staff as well all round, & we really enjoyed our Spa therapy.
The Executive rooms could do with some face lift: replace the carpet with tiles at least. A guest with sinus would really struggle to breath with that carpet. A few touch-ups in the bathroom as well. But with that said, we had a great time, pity we could not control the weather.

Undoubtedly the best overnight we have ever had! The service was off the charts, the food was absolutely devine and as for the manager coming outside and making the fire for us, simply AWESOME! A night of cuddles, reminiscence, love and of course desert! This was one for the books! Keep up the good work!

Restaurant staff are unaware what Halaal is. I got correct response after a long time of argument amongst themselves when I asked if they serve Halaal meals. Electric blanket wasn't working and only find that at 11 pm when I was suppose to sleep. The cold water tap had no water coming out of it. The suppose to be hot water was actually very cold. I had to take a cold shower. I am not happy with the service I received. Receptionists were friendly and smiling at all times. I wish I wish I can take part of their smiles and spread amongst all in the establishment.

Situated in a forest adjacent to N2. Very spacious rooms. Great food and service. Trial walks and Mountainbike rides and lots of other amenities. Great wedding and conference venue.

The food at Eagle's Rest restaurant is delicious yet VERY pricey.

A great place to visit. The tranquility of the forest is complimented by the friendly and helpful staff. The Wi-Fi is always clogged, but otherwise a great place.

Left my jacket there which has sentimetal value. My wife phoned to enquire about it a few days later. Guess what, the manager had it in her office. Says a lot about the honesty off staff and management. Great place, great food, great surroundings — just beautiful.

A must stay. Wonderfully tranquil place for a great relaxing stay for the entire family. Great food and fantastically friendly staff makes it stand out from other hotels.

Stayed in room number 23. I wasn't really impressed with value for money compared to the other 3 places I stayed while in south africa. The most disappointing thing was the food at dinner which was terrible (both a chicken terrine and my friends hamburger), second most terrible was the lack of cleanliness of the room which was full of dead bugs. The breakfast was okay. On the positive side was the trails around the hotel.

Attended the conference their facilities were impressive and its far from the hustle and bustle which makes it the best place for a conference.

Very serene and lush. Good for a travel stop between your trips. Has a spar and tennis court. We spent a night so can’t really say much about the service. Breakfast was average.

It's beautiful… I love the nature and surroundings. It's perfect for both business and pleasure. It's a great place for a family vacation eve a romantic trip!

The restaurant manager is full of nonsense they serve food of pathetic quality and if you return it she finds excuses saying I've consumed so much of it, therefore refused to either offer me a discount or give me another option. She personally admitted that the quality she supplied might not be up to standard but said took have few bites.
The pathetic leadership style is the result of the feud between the chef and the restaurant manager. Her style of management will comprise the quality of that beautiful place. I will not recommend that place for those reasons.

I stayed there a few times great scenery the staff is friendly and on the ball, plus world class customer service and the food is out of this world.

Lovely place to be with your family of just on a work trip. The place is secluded from the busy towns or city, but just an hour's drive from Port Shepstone if you want to enjoy the beach. There's a Mountain Bike Trail facility, a walking trail of about 3.5 KMs, a tennis court, volleyball court, kids play area, small golf course. There are wooden cottages and some family rooms.

Outstanding facility one of it's kind. Food, had Christmas lunch room for improvement. Staff, I rate * as they said nothing to protect us from abuse by patrons that had a terrible attitude and made derogatory racial comments about us in our presents. These patrons were rude unmannered had no o respect for others. It looked like the whole to family was there. The children pushed and shoved their way leaning over the food, knocking other patrons food, they were loud chewed food with their mouths open even the adults were no better. This made things very uncomfortable for the rest. If Bees B+B was open I would have left and had lunch there. I don't believe that one should allow this to happen. For the price we paid, NOT ON. Surely there should be some control over these loud unconciderate people badly dressed with their hair uncared for looking rather wild. Next time will be very careful if I need to eat out again.

Would not recommend this hotel which is a very sad thing to say. The receptionist was lovely as we checked in… but that was the highlight. I am not sure when the tourist board last assessed the hotel as if they had stay in our rooms, 3 star this hotel would not be. At best 2 star based on our rooms. Apparently we were upgraded to deluxe rooms so if this was the deluxe room condition, … I dread the thought of a standard room. Room: smelled damp and musty. The bed: rock hard, pillows seemed about 20 yrs old as either flat and hard or broken into pieces, decorative pillows smelled and looked like they had not been laundered for a while. Bathroom: had mould around shower, dirt around sink pedestal, brown water (too scared to put it in my mouth), a shower that was hard to control temperature, stains and lots of dead flies/mosquitos on the ceiling of the bathroom… but according to the manager the rooms are cleaned every day! Breakfast: not sure about the food standards. Food left for hours as not enough guests to eat it. Yogurt next to toaster so heat was causing yogurt to separate. Omelette stand… the items for filling the omelettes were right next to the hot plate for cooking. The problem with that was the items sat so long beside the hot plate not being used that they were suffering from heat exhaustion, I. E. The cheese in the bowl was melting/soft and droopy before being considered for adding to an omelette! So we skipped breakfast the day we left.

First impressions last. Nice place with spacious rooms. Food delicious but menu options very limited.

The room was nice and neat although it didn't have the spectacular views that were advertised. The buffet dinner was tasty but lacking in variety and quantity.

Second time there. Excellent food but limited options. The spa was a mess. People kind. Nice place but quite bored. Recommended if you want only to walk/bike, sleep and eat.

This is a exquisite fine dining establishment and a lovely hotel with cuisine units. Their are many fun activities for the kids and a extraordinary view of the forest with the fun bike trials and hiking.

Great place for outdoors — biking. Near main road. Great meals and staff. Great family friendly chalets.

Facility looks excellent. Cappuccinos very nice. My Pizza was excellent. However my wife's Steak tough and underdone. She could hardly cut it wife a knife and return 80% of it.

Very polite staff. Beautiful set up. We had half board and I felt that it was value for money.

The rooms were very neat and clean. They made our stay extra special by providing us with a camp cot for my little one. The buffet dinner and breakfast was delicious. The daily cleaning service did an exceptional job. We enjoyed ourselves at the pool which was clean and well maintained. The manner in which the provide the kiddies with entertainment such as the jungle gym and kiddies roomis very well thought. The staff were not so vigilant though in terms of what I was booked for and that with refilling the desserts once the malva pudding tray was empty.

Great venue and friendly staff. We spent a lot of time here for business and it was really pleaseant.

Ingeli Forest resort is the most amazing place! If you havent been there, make sure you do. Treat your family to something real special!
