Amazing view of the beach, the staff is welcoming and there are adorable horses to experience. It's generally a nice and peaceful lodge.

Booked a horse ride for my daughter, all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW, what an incredibly beautiful place, actually words cannot describe just how phenomenal and how special this place is. Amazing, natural and wild. The staff are incredible, kind, friendly and so helpful, and thanks so very much to William for being such an excellent guide to our 13 year old daughter. Ella said it was her best outride EVER, she was blown away.
Thanks so much we will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

A wonderful place to stay. Lot‘s of activities are offenes, i. E. Horse riding which was really great with well trained horses. Very friendly staff and delicious food.

We did the horse trail and luxury picnick at the boma. We booked for the Christmas dinner. All of the staff were excellent and riendly. I will defnitely recommend this lodge, such a special place!

Amazing departure from my busy world. It all started with a warm welcome, a short tour and drink at the bar. Hooked after seeing a Villa, I booked an escape for three days later and enjoyed every meal, walk, ride and minute. Never rushed and always supportive, owner Hans can be proud of his entire team!

We went here for one of their hiking trails. Worthwhile experience. The ferry to cross the river is genius.

The highlight of our South Africa trip! Fantastic Little hotel, far from the tourist streams. You first drive about 20 km on unpaved paths over land and then reach the small oasis near the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms. Absolutely eat dinner, delicious and and incl. Fire place. Also absolutely booking: horseback riding on the beautiful, huge private sandy beach. Picnic by the sea. Hike over the Dunes (3-7km). Anytime again! Thank you very much!

Fantastic location on the Indian Ocean, an adventurous way to get there… you need a stable car on the bumpy track. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Stay one night going to go back and stay longer the stay nice and helpful.

The approach to the lodge was already very adventurous, I thought I was wrong, but luckily, after 23 km came a sign, for me it was too far from the shot, rooms were clean. Service was still a bit inexperienced and still very childish.

It was on our honeymoon and look how special they made it for us! What a great place to be! Awesome and best staff ever and food fantastic!

This is a real getaway located in a nature reserve — Secluded and peaceful. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and well prepared. Rooms are very well kept. The rooms and main buildings are fully covered by inclusive Wi-Fi. There are endless activities and a private beach. When you need to get away.

We were from 06.02. — 09.02.2018 at Oyster Bay Lodge with the category: Luxury chalet incl. Half board. The approach was very mysterious. Google Maps has led us 24 kilometers over gravel roads to our destination and we really thought we are completely wrong here. But was actually the only correct way (is really African). But when we checked in and purchased our chalet, everything turned out to be positive. The staff was super friendly, the apartment very clean and very positive we remember the delicious food. The lodge is in a very special place and we can only recommend it to anyone.

Were quite enthusiastic! From the very friendly welcome to the spacious apartments. We also found the ambience of the entire complex great. We would also like to mention the excellent cuisine.
Simply a lodge to feel good in the middle of an unspoilt natural and dune landscape.

The lodge is in a private coastal reserve and guests have access to a stunningly beautiful hiking area full of trails through the impressive sand dunes near the Indian Ocean. The magnificent beach is clean and very safe. In many ways, the place resembles the Goukamma reserve before the fires in Knysna in 2016. It is extraordinarily beautiful. The large sand dunes are great for sand boarding and provide a healthy workout. You need to hike to the beach or book a beach safari to reach the ocean. It takes some 15 minutes to walk to the dunes and the ocean. We saw interesting game as well (waterbuck) on our walks. Food is good and the long list of activities will keep even the most demanding guests busy (kayaking, horseback riding, sand boarding, etc). Overall, a wonderful place to be active in nature.

A heart-run lodge. Both reception and the restaurant are superserved. I felt very comfortable as a guest there. The tour with the Jeep through the grounds was pointed. The guide took a lot of time, although I was the only one on the trip. The rooms very clean and with a magnificent view. Highly recommended lodge.

Perfect place for an active relax holiday. Beautiful hikes on a deserted beach, dunes and bush. One word. Lovely.

A lovely place in the midst of a beautiful and untouched environment. We particularly enjoyed the relaxing walk along an incredible beach and across sandy dunes — all part of the compound — as well as the very friendly service and the tasty cooking. Great stay!
