Beautiful and very clean studio type rooms. The view is amazing. My husband and I were staying only for one night and after a little while, we decided we would extend our stay another night. ️‍♀️⛰️‍♀️

Ummm so your employees cannot fully participate in the quarentine so this place can turn a buck? From the looks of it this business is wealthy enough to pay their employees to stay home and has chosen not to. So greedy it's disgusting.

Different things to do like small golf course, tennis, pool, gym, 2 fish ponds one stocked with goldfish one with large miuth bass and trout!

A beautiful setting and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and great shopping areas! Very comfortable suites overlooking lovely gardens and pond.

The head of housekeeping tells the employees that they can’t talk to people. I worked there for almost 4 years and never once did the old head of housekeeping tell anyone they couldn’t talk to someone.

My wife and I have been going to the Palmer House for the last 15 years. We highly recommend this resort!

Great place for a short getaway! Fishing, hot tub, heated pools, comfortable rooms, right in downtown Manchester. What more could we ask for?

If your in the area this is a must try. They have a free 9hole-3par golf course on the gounds! Rooms are nice and spacious and very clean. 5stars!

Great local swimming pool. Free to locals, fee ($10 adults) for nonlocal. Clean life guard and Wi-Fi. Shade picnic tables, pavilions, and chairs.

Great atmosphere, super quiet. Great amenities. Fishing, chip and putt golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor pool.

This place is top notch! It's so much more than a Motel. It is a resort. Amy was very cordial and welcoming! Rooms are clean, spacious and with very nice amenities including full cable with HD! Huge grounds, hiking trail, 9 hole — par 3 golf course suprisingly well maintained and many yard games. We would stay here again in a minute. It's a keeper!

The staff was really nice and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were some great views on the property of the mountains, a lot of activities on the resort and close by restaurants.

What an awful, awful experience. I booked this hotel for a very special weekend — a girls-only "babymoon" with my sister and my niece. I chose the place based on the pool. We went to the pool. The pool was green. A man swimming said he thought that it was a different cleaning chemical than chlorine — something more natural. So pregnant me and my 6 year old niece went in. We left within one minute as a clump of hair the size of my leg started moving down the pool. … I immediately reported this to the front desk. They let me know the hot tub had been shut down the night before because of green water. I said that the pool needed to be as well. The front desk called me later to let me know that they found the giant hair clump, weren't sure how it got there, and that the manager was being messaged with a request to call me in the morning, and that they'd be doing something to make it up to me. After an uncomfortable night in an outdated, musty room of questionable cleanliness (I found candy wrappers around my bed, behind the nightstand — not from us) we checked out at 7 am. The new front desk person was surprised to hear my complaint and noted there was no note left/nothing about closing the pool for the day. I paid about $170 for a ruined babymoon and never got a call. Avoid at ALL COSTS. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.

Nice motel, don't know if I would consider it a resort. Breakfast was ok, consisted or toast and cereal. Within walking distance to the center of town with plenty of food.

This place is really nice! The room was immaculate and very clean! Beautiful area for breakfast! The special cake served is devine and the coffee called Holly Cow is the prefect name! It's really really goood! The staff are all sooo very nice! Great attitudes and they all have beautiful smiles! Everyone is so friendly! This is by far the best place I've ever stayed in! I can't wait to come back and visit! Tina Aines is my favorite of all… She's like no other!

Been trying to get ahold of the manager for over a week and have been unsuccessful after a terrible stay where our hotel room was infested with ants and I was not given the room that I had paid for. When mentioning the answer the staff we were given attitude because switching rooms wasn't enough for us. A simple apology would have been nice but we weren't even given that.

My fiance and I stayed here for one night, had we not had other travel plans we definitely would have stayed longer. This place is located in a beautiful town, not far at all from restaurants and stores. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast had a small but satisfying amount of food. Price per night was reasonable considering all of what was stated above. Also there is a wonderful view of all surrounding scenery!

Had a wedding in the area. Let us check in early to get ready, everything was comfortable, clean, & Lady at the office very kind. Had a great night here, would love to come again.

My wife and I go here every year. Its amazing in every way. The suites are outstanding. Short walk to phenomenal restaurants and shopping.

My Husband and I enjoyed our stay in the king suite at the Palmer house for our honeymoon! The staff was super friendly and the views from our room really captured a fall in Vermont! We will be sure to come back again!

The grounds are stunning, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms, while the decor is slightly outdated, are comfortable and spaceous. There's much to do both at the resort and within walking distance.

Beautiful property close to restaurants. Welcoming, polite, nice people. Stayed an overnight in room 75. A beautiful suite, spacious, comfortable and best of all quite. A gorgeous view of the pond from the back deck. Our stay here was perfect. Highly recommended!

The Palmer House in Manchester, VT is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are clean, beds very comfy, staff is delightful and so many amenities to enjoy! Had a fabulous stay!

The Palmer House is a great resort! It is a comfy homey place. The rooms are very large so you have a lot of space. They are a bit old fashioned but we like that style. I would say it is in the right price range for what you get. The views are spectacular! You are in walking distance to Manchester downtown historic district. We are really enjoying our stay here!

Couldn't be better, and have stayed at other 'premier' New York Times 'choice' hotels in Manchester. Lake property is gorgeous. What you want from Vermont is here. Rooms are spacious &fabulous.

We've been going to the Palmer for more then a decade every June for the Manchester classic car show. It's likely among the best hotels in Manchester. They are always very accommodating. Can't wait to be back next year.

We visited during the summer after several days of backpacking in the mountains. What a treat! We were greeted with warmth and were able to settle right in despite having only booked our stay a few minutes before. The room was comfortable and clean and well supplied. The owner gave us extra towels when we checked in. We found out that there was SO much to do right on the property like croquet, fishing, pool, Jacuzzi, tennis, and more. We stayed for two nights and did fish, and use the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was wonderful. There is a small continental breakfast available, however we skipped that because the selection was minimal and we like a good breakfast. However, the owner recommended a couple places which were good. I would highly recommend staying here.

Location, location, location! That's part of what you're paying for here, and it's worth it. Yes, it may be a little "outdated, " but the location is great. We love to eat at Ye Olde Tavern whenever we visit Manchester and you can walk there from here! We also walked to Gringo Jack's. Clean rooms, pleasant staff. Worth it.

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived at the "motel", after finding it on the internet. We knew it was an older place, but was 'very outdated', (and not in a cute way. ) The rooms were big and clean but NOT worth the price they charged. The town was great. We found a great restaurant called "Up for Breakfast". You have to try it — it's that good. Next time we go there we will definitely stay somewhere else.

The place is great. An older motel with brand new suites, comfortable rooms, convenient to Manchester, a great little 9 hole golf course with a terrific view and a new aquatic facility. But the best part is the service, everyone I've met is fantastic! You should visit here.

I love the Palmer House! Manchester, Vermont is such a great place and the Palmer House is an especially lovely place to stay. I stayed here two summers in a row while competing at Vermont Summer Festival. The owners and employees are wonderful people, the setting is relaxing and quiet, and the rooms I stayed in were always spacious and clean. You can't go wrong here.
