16th century castle, now a luxury boutique hotel with a Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant. Best Vinothèque in the region and a Champagne 🍾 Temple. Wine tasting experience was amazing and tasting menu with wine pairings highly recommended. Staff are absolutely fantastic. Nothing was trouble for them and they go out of the way to ensure you are satisfied. Highly recommended!

Very good dining Experience. The Fish tasting menu was really right; Delicate flavors and right combinations, modest portions for the type of restaurant, very good refinement of the products. Wine list satisfactory and staff really friendly and helpful to customers requests. Very Nice The winery and the wine tasting area. I take away a star for the furnishing of the dining room, which remained too many years ago and of a lower level than that of the kitchen. Good value for money.

We traveled in April, a slow tourism time for them.
However, they opened the restaurant and gave us a private dinner to die for (try the tasting menus).
They arranged two (private) wine tastings that were incredible — the wine, the cured meats and cheese locally produced. But most importantly, the folks who own the wineries spent 1-2 hours with us talking about everything, especially the history of the region, the wine, etc, etc. (Klinec and Edi Simcic). Fond memories of Goriska Brda.

I spent three days (2 nights) there last October. It is located in the vineyards close to the border to Italy. If you want to explore Goriksa Brda and Collio in Italy this might be the right place. There is also a great restaurant and a magnificant wine cellar. Join a tasting there. Good breakfast too! My thanks go to Alenka (for the service in the restaurant and tasting), Andreja (for the breakfast) and Polona (for reservation). You made my day!

Really a bad organization we had booked for the 21:30 until 2:00 at night we also had confirmation emails and they closed the restaurant we could not get in and the managers we found out we were told that by now we did not do anything we Had to change place really bad experience I would not recommend anyone to go to this bad place.

Beautiful restaurant, great and nicely presented food with very gentle service. We will be back one day!

Top 5 wonderland places in Goriška brda.

Tourist trap — overpriced, fancy descriptions of food that disappoints. In one word-a ripoff! There are lots of nice other places to go in Goriska brda.
