Definitely a good boutique hotel to stay in, with good and friendly staffs, from the helpful and thoughtful front office team like Ricardo, Ira and Karu, as well as efficient housekeeper Margaret. I had enjoyed my 6 days stay at this hotel, and they made me feel like home, even though I'm stucked in Singapore!
Definitely a highly recommended boutique hotel to stay in!

Horrific attitude from Champion Hotel City's service staff. Ruined our trip before it even started. Just today, the Singapore Tourism Board put out an advisory saying (STB) that staycations will be allowed, but hotels must apply for permission to STB/MTI (government agencies) as well as let them know about their safe management measures for guests. I asked the hotel if they will be applying for this permission, but I received a reply asking for my "marriage certification to substantiate the reason for honeymoon". NOWHERE did the Government request for guests to furnish such personal particulars. When I sent the hotel links to the STB advisory and other related news coverage to clarify the situation (through the in-app messaging function), I was greeted this most unfriendly message: I did not say it’s approved, I just said it’s ON till further notice!
You have also replied to us at 6.14pm on 28th June that you understood the situation! Like I have said, the booking is On for now, please do not spam our reservation email anymore, During these uncertain times, hotel staff should expect queries from guests, especially those who have made the effort to put down bookings and arranged for leaves. When guests who have done their due diligence send over helpful information which they've spent time finding, be appreciative — or at least, don't be rude. I don't think that is asking for much. Horrible experience.

Tiny room, but everything else good.

For Yi Zun Beef Noodle. It was authentic Chinese halal food.

The room was small and shaped oddly in the shaped of a "b".
Dust everywhere. Stains on bed sheet and walls. Floor felt oily.
Toilet was small.
Toilet seat was really low, my bag's height was higher than that. … Mostly importantly, when we requested to checkout 4 hours later, the female receptionist without checking, immediately said that the rooms were fully booked despite there was barely any crowd in the hotel.

(Huge drawback) Weak sound proofing, can hear knocks, toilet flushing from next room. Sound from corridor is noisy Air conditioning has a little sound, may bug some light sleepers. Average view from whichever direction u are facing.

Room was small but very cosy. Not a big fan of clear glass bathroom but still ok. Had a good stay here.

The hotel is located in the center and basically next to the Clarke Quay station, just a road across from the river. They also changed our reservation dates without any extra fees and provide free coffee and adapters. The room was small, no windows but clean. However the bathroom was moldy and didn’t smell really good. We could connect to the Wi-Fi but the signal was too weak to use it! The only place where we had proper internet was the lobby where it was hard to stay for longer than 10 min because the AC was WAY too cold! Another thing which was unacceptable was the loud music we could hear from the building next to us. Every night we could hear each line of the lyrics until 11 or 12 pm… (we were in 2nd floor)

It’s an okay hotel once you know for sure you won’t be spending much time in the area. Quite honestly, I got confused when I booked this hotel. I intended on booking their other hotel that’s in a better location than this one. The closest MRT is 10 mins away which usually wouldn’t be a problem for me but most of the time it is not the perfect weather for walking in Singapore. The room was always clean, had all that I needed as a carry-on only traveler (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap). Staff was nice enough to also give me an adapter for all my chargers. The area is, to say the least, not interesting. So naturally I spent most of the time at the marina area and couldn’t grab anything from the hotel during the day if needed (since it was too far). Price was good I guess, comparing to other hotels in Singapore. In terms of local food-I only had lunch in the area once and it wasn’t for my liking. I’m sure there’s some amazing places there but there’s SO MANY spots for food that I just didn’t have the energy to decide whether a place is good enough for me to eat or not.

For the price, its worth it as the room is quite spacious and clean. However the check in staff isnt the best. He wasnt very friendly and no explanations was given, even the price of the room. Well perhaps because I din ask. Check out was a breeze. Overall its still a pleasant stay.

Sorry but somehow I got the room which smells like smoking room, and the floor are so so so dirty. Not too mention some tourist making a lot of noise shouting (talking) in the hallway. Giving 2 stars for the nice receptionist, if not I will give — 1 stars.

Very comfortable place. Clean and tidy. Only downside is Wi-Fi internet keep disconnecting.

The room is lighted rather darkly. There will always be a pair of super-fine ants in the corner.

Room is still a little bit larger, near the restaurant, many people eat ok, but only one person on the choice less!

Clean room. Good service. Good location in terms of local food. Plenty of restaurant around the area. But don't book with breakfast as the the breakfast starts at 830 at the coffee shop beside the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and look very nice. We stayed for 3 days with 2 adults and 2 kids. Love the swinging chair and the small sofa can also be used for a 4 yold child to sleep.

The location is very convenient and is right in the heart of the lovely Geylang serai. Food options are plenty to say the least. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Housekeeping staff are efficient and friendly. Rooms were not swept on occasion but all in all, a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel, very nice staffs, clean and organized private room with reasonable price, 50 meter from Clark Quay MRT station, great location for food and attraction, Clark Quay is around 10-15 min away by foot. Highly recommended.

Very new, clean, tidy and modern hotel. So is room. Good location. Only 10m walk to Chinatown. 15m walk to Marina Bay. Excellent customer services. Reasonable price.

Although far from the MRT station, but nearby food is quite cheap, take the bus to the city center is also very fast, recommended a bus. Room Clean Equipment Advanced.

Was spotlessly clean, and had comfortable beds. The air conditioning was great without any noise. I picked a room without giving it much thought and it ended up being a room without windows. So I felt claustrophobic and couldn't tell whether it's day or night as there is no way for sunlight to enter the room. I was OK as it's only a day, but I suggest you book a room with a window if you want to stay there. The staff were professional and allowed us to check in early-at 12 noon, which is nice of them. The reason I give four star is coz it's a bit far from the MRT we wanted to take and we had to go by bus for two stations. Plus the amenities in the room was almost nothing — no blow dryer, iron and not even a cup to pour your hot water.

The rooms are too tiny & the room that we took didn't have a window so it was too claustrophobic for me. The bed is comfortable & the room was clean barring a couple of soiled wall patches. The Wi-Fi can be a challenge sometimes!

Hotel room is being cleaned at all times; comfy beds, good a/c, no deposit for adaptors, nice smell of d lobby. Nice smell of body wash too. Staff are helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

Friend was staying here during a stopover in Singapore. Nice little hotel, rather convenient with a 7-11 in the corner. Near Long Phung Restaurant which serves very good Vietnamese food!

Location Delicious coffee in the morning. Neat rooms.

Small room but well furnished. Clever use of storage. The elevators are super annoying at night. Trying to sleep, you would hear the elevator bell ding and wake you up every hour depending on how active the hotel guests are. I would not select this place as first preference. On the bright side it is cheap.

The location was quite ok. Two MRT stations are within walking distance. Rooms were also quite nice. Internet in the hotel was unfortunately support slow. We then brought a SIM card with unlimited data volume at 15 SGD. Breakfast was fine too. Good value for money.

Very nice and cozy hotel in city center, just 2 minutes walk from Clarke Quay mrt station. The room is small but clean and functional as well as very comfortable. Loved the modern design and the rooftop space. Reasonable price as well, considering it's in the CBD area.

The hotel is a good value for money. At first glance everything is cozy and clean, beautiful interior in the hall, but in fact, the cleaning is only superficial, in the room next to the bedside table was a lot of dirt and dust, including lying cotton sticks, on the floor in the corners, dust and hair. Glasses and spoons had to be washed. The room had a hairdryer, but when it turned on, went smoke, it is in addition to the terrible buzz and whistle. The front desk really gave us a new hair dryer when we asked. Wi-Fi is very weak, almost nothing is loaded. Breakfast is practically not edible, especially for the European tourist, we travel very much and not to say that are very fussy in food, but here to choose simply nothing, and even sandwiches which we have taken on the first day, on the second have told that they are not present. The breakfast is very good and the food is good. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Every morning woke up from the noise and loud voices in the hallway. The hotel is in a good location. 00 (we arrived at 13.00), not a bad location about half an hour from both the airport and the city centre and the main attractions. Very close to the metro station. But next time we wouldn't stop here.

C/p is very high, cheap and with free restaurant breakfast, can directly experience Singapore cuisine, transportation to the city or airport is very convenient, and there are many large fresh stores near the very hungry convenience, is to stay in Singapore is very recommended store Oh!

C/P is good, affordable rate, there is a free breakfast, next to the grocery store, near the 24hrs Indian snack ALWADA (burrito, Milk tea), from the nearest MRT station Paya Lebar, walk about 10-15 minutes, the disadvantage is to live on the 3 floor but free Wifi reception is not good, bathroom in the shower is small.

The hotel is well-presented… at the beginning we were given a room with mold on the walls… readily changed without problems. We're definitely not in the center but nearby there is the subway and shopping centers… for us europeans, the breakfast may not be suitable is the typical of Singapore…

Nice clean hotel with a good location (2-3 minutes from Clarke Quay A exit) with small rooms. My main complaint was the water heat in the shower. The tank must not have been that big because the water will change temperatures on you if you're in there for a couple minutes. It does definitely stay warm enough to take a comfortable shower as long as you remember to turn it on a ways before you plan on showering. Would stay again, although there are definitely cheaper options if you can live with a shared bathroom.

Hotel staff is good and cooperative however they have limited or specific breakfast menu.

Budgetary hotel to stay in and friendly managers at hotel and helpful too. It has very compact hotel rooms, no space is left unused and the sound proofing isn't great. Best room cleaning service, good breakfast at Killiney and 24/7 Wi-Fi facility. Crowd can be a little too big of varieties as well but for the price and the Singapore feel, I’m not complaining. Food surrounding is good and plenty to explore by foot. I will go back if I am there for vacation or staycation.

The hotel is very well connected and central, close to China town. The personnel is very friendly. The room was spacious and clean except the bathroom which was somewhat small.
El único aspecto negativo fué el servicio de lavanderia. La secadora no funcionaba y nos dejó la ropa muy mojada.
The only negative aspect was the laundry service. The dryer did not work and left our clothes very wet.

Pros: Good location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room and hotel is clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. Complimentary coffee in the main reception area. The room offers everything you need for a comfortable stay e. G. Tea, coffee, kettle, a safe box, air conditioning, toiletries as well as fresh towels. A practical space with creative storage areas within the room. Cons: slightly noisy during the night due to being close to the lift. The room IS definitely quite small, however it is still practical. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend it.

Surprisingly good for the price. Reception was helpful at all times. The room was clean and tidy, although small as I had expected. The bed was comfy. Coffee and tea facilities in the room and even slippers. I booked a inside room with no window as I arrived late on a stopover and a budget. Great location for the airport without having to pay those airport hotel prices and still well located for the MRT (10 mins walk).

Decent boutique hotel, however gave us 2 single beds when we asked for a full sized bed. Decent breakfast at nearby Killiney.

Cosy, clean rooms, comfortable bed, I was very impressed with the staff, they were friendly, helpful. Very close to railway station, and bus stations, Many cafes, restaurants, malls nearby. Safe area.

Next to Champion Hotel you will find Killiney Champion cafe. Great for a quick local coffee perk up.

Great location within a couple of minutes of Clarke Quay, but the room was a little small, perhaps a reflection of the price. Staff were friendly and the room was tastefully decorated. There was no shaver socket in the bathroom which was a little inconvenient as we needed to charge our electric toothbrush.

Minimalistic but fits the needs of anyone who wishes to stay there. Great experience.

Single room with no window, but no problems at all. Everything is good enough for myself. Location is convenient for buses & MRT.

Nice hotel in a good area very close to everything. Hotel itself is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you come here get a room with a window as I imagine it to be very closed in without one as the rooms are in the small side.

Cartoon room is very cosy & spacious. Love the design & the room smells nice. It was great to hv a shower bath & shampoo in the toilet.

Tiny room but spotlessly clean in a great location. My room with a view revealed back steps and air conditioners, not the twinkly high rise lights I envisaged.

A well furnished moderate hotel good for a short stay for shower and keeping luggage. It is conveniently connected with rail — Clarke quay and buses. Take exit A and cross road in front of Hong Lim Park. Tariffs are from Sgd. 138 to 233 most of the season. Out of 33 rooms 13 double rooms have balcony.

A great place to stay, the staff at the desk are the best, rooms spotless small but perfect and close to everything. Definitely recommended.

Reasonable location. Tried with the room but it was noisy next to the lift. But it was what I thought it would be.

The people so nice and helpfull. I lost my room key at first day but they say no problem politely and give me another key. The room service woman also helpfull. The room are different from what I saw in the internet, it better indeed. It clean and much more beatifull than what I saw in the picture when I made booking. There are bus stop infront the hotel indeed.

Cozy and clean hotel. The rooms are small but well planned. Be aware that the cheaper rooms have no windows.

Clean & cosy room for single guest. Bed is quite comfortable for a budget hotel. There is also supply for quality dental hygiene but will be ideal if there is also a better supply of bathing needs. Would hope they will offer larger rooms in the near future. Overall it's a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel. Clean and spacious room. Friendly and professional staff. I just don't like the smell of cigarette even you are at a non-smoking room. Champion Killiney should improve on washing their utensils. I saw a lipstick mark on the cup served to us. Overall, I still like the hotel.

Very convenient location close to several fantastic local restaurant for an acceptable price. Room might be small but spacious.

This is my 4th and longest stay at Champion Hotel. I appreciate the friendly reception staff who were concerned and accommodating of my special needs (broken foot). This hotel is easy to get in and out of. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable, though I do wish the beds were softer. There also isn't a view, my room had no window, but at the same time it forced me to go outside and take in the vibrant community. I will continue to keep this affordable hotel on my list for Singapore.

Right by the business area the location of the hotel cannot be beaten if you are in town for a short few days and want to be near to everything that is happening. Room was very modern and with pleasant interior.

A very modern Place to spend your sleeptime in Singapore. This is a Hotel without Breakfast and Room Service. But you really don't need this in Singapore. The Rooms are clean, the AC works very well, there is a laundry room and Wi-Fi is not the best but good enough. A good place to go! 5 Stars!

Actually the room is pretty good, but at the first day we met a very unfriendly housekeeper. The housekeeper were unhappy when we asked to clean some space in the room and they were complained in Chinese (they thought we didn't understand what they said). And on the next day, the housekeeper clean the room without asking any permition! We met the housekeeper before we left the room but they didn't say anything. So we really dissappointed with the service!
