The food in isolation with my 5-year-old daughter was really bad, and after talking to the front desk, one of the front desk Ann handled the cake and sent it two days later and then got worse since I received fried chicken wings for three meals in a row. Before check-in said there are children's meals, and then received with adult meals are no different, contact the front desk to communicate a few times before there are improvements a few days later. It's really bad, and then it's said that the food is from the supplier and the children's meal has been specially prepared for you and prepared by the hotel itself (thank you)

I think business is bad, so the building manager is very happy to vehicle clamp and charge an exorbitant SGD200. I recently went to meet a client staying there. Somehow, the green parking light was misleading at level 4. They have two side parking and from driver point of view I parked by the pump room. Little did I know, I was parked 1 lot ahead. My vehicle was clamped. There was no vehicle clamp sign from gantry all the way up to level 4. Even so, there was no yellow line. My notice was 2.10pm. I was there by 2.20pm. So, I went to explain to security who was sympathetic. Tried helping to explain to the manager who refuse to speak to me and insist I pay SGD200. Looking at his attitude, I told the security that if I called in police for this thug behavior, they wouldn’t bother. So, I will remove the vehicle clamp and let the manager take follow up action. Be careful, try not to park in this building although they have lots of space.

Double charges cut from my account for same hotel room and the not even refund. I do understand that it was an advance purchase, but I mentioned it many times that it happened by mistake, as I already paid for the reservations on the same dates through a travel agent. I could understand that if my reservation was of other dates or I didn't pay anything for the stay, then my amount could be deducted from my credit card and non — refundable. But this is not acceptable to me as I already paid for my stay and also stayed in same room and paid for exact similer dates with same name of reservation.

A lovely but quite small room on the top floor gave good views. No shampoo/conditioner which is strange for such a hotel. Dining and drinking is very expensive but no more so than surrounding restaurants. I would stay again.

This Hotel has professional staff who guide you if you need their help. The rooms are good enough for two and room service is purely on call. Overall a good experience.

Nicely design rooms and just big enough for Singapore. Everything was clean. The bed truly comfortable, the A/C very good. The breakfast buffet is super good. A nice variety of things to eat. Altogether, nothing to complain about. Will recommend to friends.

Love this Hotel. It was a home to me for a month. Very friendly staff that always ready to help. And housekeeping service is outstanding. I also love rooms set up with huge shower. It was what I was looking forward to after hard and hot work day. The only minus is they don't have a pool.

Good hotel, good facilities, great staff, average breakfast. I wasn't a fan of the location though as most of my plans were downtown. But it's a good option for what you're paying.

My visit was a spur of the moment stay after a 16 hour fligjt. They had a room available and it was an amazing experience. Bed was comfy and the staff friendly. About 15 minutes from the airport. Only stayed for a single night but would definitely recommend it.

Very clean and tidy, the incisive breakfast is a real bonus. Seems to be very popular and is very convenient for the airport. Was given a very late check out complimentary which was great for my late evening flight.

Good spread breakfast included for all checked in guests. Decent well maintained rooms. Mainly self service is the theme beging express. Watch out no swimming poll. Had a comfortable stay with family for 3 days.

Nice little hotel tuck away in Katong area. Since space is a premium in Singapore, the room was well designed to be cozy and comfortable with just enough amenities (wardrobe, TV, mini desk, complimentary coffee & tea, safety box, free local mobile phone). A nice comfortable queen size bed to sleep in and relax, a mini sofa chair and clean bathroom. The front desk was helpful with speedy check in / out. As for included breakfast, the spread was rather general and could have been better.

Location is nice with east coast park nearby, restaurants and convenience stores a few minutes walk away. 112 Katong Mall is right below the mall so you have an immediate variety of shops/movie during the day. Staff service is polite and efficient. Housekeeping is every morning and the free breakfast spread is above average. The basic room with queen sized bed was a little squeezy with luggage, though the translucent glass panels in the bathroom might be awkward for 2 travellers not close together.

"Handy" is the best of the hotel.

Excellent hotel, recommended! new rooms, comfortable and clean, clean bathrooms. The friendly people and with good view rooms and is well located if you want to walk around with the metro and you have shopping malls near by. Included breakfast very good and varied.

Great service, very friendly personel. Rooms are small but comfortable and they supply two pillows a firm and soft one. The included breakfast is alright not much choice but just enough. Next to the reception there is a handy Grab car pole to get you a car to anywhere in Singapore, and much cheaper than a regular taxi! The big Downside of the hotel (for now) is that there is no metro station nearby so you have to take bus or a car.

Best place to stay. I could recommend for a couple's to have a stay in a quiet place. Surroundings are so quiet, cycling around during evening could make a stay. Complimentary break fast is not at the best.

I Loved the breakfast the shower the black out curtains. But the pillows were too soft… The rooms had soundproofing. A nice sound sleep here. I had a Great view — see the photo. The Housekeeping was so helpful and good at what they do. The housekeeping were certainly More friendly than the reception Staff actually. They don't get enough Credit for their kindness. Best not to order room Service. Twice Mine was stone cold. That was disappointing. Much Better and more affordable to eat out. Just grab a cab with the grab app (also works fantastic go Yangon) 10-12 dollars into bugis street markets and you won't be disappointed. I lost track of time looking around. The Food is amazing around this area, and the shopping is memorable. Reception is hard to find at 3am with Little signs and no one to greet and Help. I got lost looking for the check in : (the rooms are too small with no place to open suit cases and pack ports. Other than that it is very clean new and comfortable. I would stay here again but would check in earlier to get Better rate. It is a place I would recommend and return to again and again for cleanliness and quality.

Good location nearby a lot of restaurants but far from the airport. Rooms are neat though housekeeping could be better. Great spread for breakfast but lucnh and dinner are unavailable.

The hotel lobby is located on the 7 floor and on the ground floor, there are lots of small food restaurant (great to grab a bite). Tip : do venture out of the hotel, where you have find many nice food restaurant along the main street. The C328 Katong laksa is definitely a must try!

Smallish hotel with friendly front desk staff. However, breakfast is rather disappointing — fried noodles, fried rice, plain bread, cup cakes, cut fruits, cereal, that's about it. Might as well as guests are probably better off exploring far more enticing options readily available in the neighbourhood shophouses.

Wonderful compact room, new furniture, beautiful design. The breakfast is good, the fruit is always offered, the service is at a high level, the staff attentive to all wishes.

Super modern feel, and helpful front desk service! The breakfast has a great assortment of foods, and my whole family was happy. If I'm in Singapore again, I would surely stay here.

We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is in the middle of Katong, Singapore surrounded by many bars, restaurants and places to shop. The rooms are clean, quiet and not expensive. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is adequate.

Overall, quite good. Except for an unplesant experienced we had when we extended our stay there for another day. Long story but all I can say is that the staff that attended us should have some common sense and a bit of flexibility and not just blindly follow the rule without taking into consideration that we are the hotel guest. Other than this one particular hotel staff, the rest are very helpful and pleasant.
The breakfast spread could do with a bit more variety. Love the handy gadget 'Handy' that they provided, quite useful.

Great value hotel. The location isn't very central and you need to take a bus to the MRT, but we stayed here on our last night before flying out and this was an interesting place. Lots of restaurants and a relatively short walk to the East Coast Park. The bed was comfortable and the room was about what I'd expect for a Holiday Inn Express so no big surprises. It did have a cell phone that you could use during your stay, but since we already had cellphones that worked we didn't test that out.

Good location, quiet rooms. Buffet breakfast was terrible. Rooms were very small (barely room for the bed). Friendly staff. Shared laundry was very good, and reasonably priced. Good value hotel for Singapore if you are after the basics.

This HIEX is a comfortable and affordable option for staying in Singapore. You're not in the middle of the city, but a bus line goes right in front of the hotel making it convenient to reach all over the island. There's a great hawker center located just a short walk south. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good, but it tends to get very crowded during peak times. The building that houses the hotel has a small mall/food court at street level, and there's another mall right next door. They also have an inexpensive guest laundry facility, which you'll probably need since you'll be sweating every day.

While our room is small, space use is optimized. The bathroom is good other than noise suppression. Pillow size and firmness adjustable and the mattress comfortable. Water is supplied and the towels are larger than most. The best is the free breakfast which has a very good selection for most regardless of culture and includes expresso drinks.

Convenient place to stay at the heart of Singapore. Easy to commute all tourist attractions. Good breakfast spread!

Comfy and extremely well maintained rooms. The best thing about them is the absolutely fabulous, smorgasbord breakfast. The staff is very helpful as well.

Perfect for a stopover. 12 minutes to Changi $10 Uber ride! Tiny rooms that are perfectly clean and comfortable. Reminds of a nice cruise cabin. Slept perfect. Floor to ceiling windows and breakfast is simple but tasty. Very cool fresh orange juice machine. 2$. Very reasonable. Katong is a great area! Ill be back!

Easy to find, I went by Uber. The room I had was a twin bed, and small compared to North American hotels but the quality is still fantastic. Staff were friendly and attentive. It's just some of the other guests cannot follow basic rules and manners and makes the experience not so great.

I would have given this hotel a rating of 5 stars if they only have a pool. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful and housekeeping are efficient and cheerful. The bed is the most comfortable ever! Sheets and towels are like new and clean. Ample toiletries are provided including toothbrushes. The cleanliness of the room passed my high standard of cleanliness. The included buffet breakfast offers a good selection of food, breads, pastries and beverages. This hotel has a good location with small malls next door to it for shopping and dining. I will definitely use this hotel again on my next visit.

The hotel is located in the Katong area, which has a bit of old world charm surrounding the premises. The stay comes with a complimentary breakfast though there are other dining options in the ground floor, Katong square as well as several restaurants across the street. The service was great and our room had wheelchair accessibility in the washroom which was very useful. Although it's away from the city centre itself, it's closer to some shopping malls and the East Coast Park.

Need to review when stay longer time in here, they are not complete for bathroom accesories as small towel, dental kits and throw away the trash on bin in the bath room.
Anyway, it is a enjoying place to find foods surrounding hotel area in night time.
Air conditioner and water shower are in good conditions.

Beautiful Hotel with all the necessary amenities. The hotel is just below a mall and is also around numerous small restaurants. I found the location very elegant and we'll placed. Everything at the hotel was on point. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is clean, modern and staff is friendly. Breakfast is the best I've seen at a Holiday Inn Express. I'm used to the American HI Expresses with a disappointing breakfast, but this one offered more variety and seemed to cater to the Asian, Indian, and American taste buds. The espresso machine is a nice touch! Location is also great… near restaurants and public transportation. Only downside is the laundry room is a bit of a rip off at $6/wash + $6/dry and no swimming pool.

New cheap clean convenient, what's not to like?

Front desk very helpful and nice to help us check in early. Room is clean and looks modern and simple. Wifi is fast and easy connect. Very impressed by the bathroom shower water pressure. Staff always top up more than 2 drinking water bottles during my 3 days stay there. The drawback is no Mrt around the hotel, limited choice of breadfast.

Rooms are extremely cramped compared to other hotels of similar price in the area.

Booked the double room at last minute on the same day via phone service. Very comfortable, clean and modern room. Highly recommended for short or longer stay. We needed it only for one night so cannot comment on location but you should be able to reach MRT by feet. We had early wake up so receptionist arranged wake up call and ordered us taxi. Very nice experience.

I stayed here for two weeks. The front desk staff is not hospitable. Not the all staff but most. I asked for receipt for may payment and they didn't give me the receipt they just gave me a information folio which is not valid even there was no receipt number. One of my friend lost there laundry and their response is not good in my ppont of view. The rooms are good and housekeeping is good. I would like if somebody from their management team can contact me and then I can explained the difficulties which I faced there.

A bit difficult to find but very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and accomodating. Room very clean, Wi-Fi provided as well as universal power points.

Price is reasonable. Sadly before I booked, was told there is a swimming pool but when checked in june, there was none. Check in at 3pm but was told room wasn't ready until 4pm. Bathroom door was spoil. Then there was a fire in evening and alarm went off again at 3am. Breakfast was ok. Staffs are friendly.

Brand new hotel. Very small rooms, but very well laid out so no problems for me there! Comfy beds. Great shower! Air con was noisy. Breakfast (free) was awful.
