Hotels in Transylvania with a Pool

My wife and I stayed at Boutique Damiani in August 2025 during a road trip through Romania, and it was hands-down the best hotel of our entire trip.

Wholeheartedly recommend this place! Everything here is spotless and clearly done with care, not just the bare minimum like in many other hotels.

Picture this: relaxing in the jacuzzi with views of the valley and mountains from about 1, 300 meters up, then a few hours later climbing to a 1, 911 meter peak with the hotel's manager as your guide.

Very nice hotel that resembles of a small apartment with two rooms, one is a living room with fully equipped kitchen, and table.

Nice spacious rooms. Easy checkin process. Keep in mind that check in is only until 22.00.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Dani in Colibița. Everything was exactly what we needed for a truly relaxing getaway.

Everything was excellent! We stayed in the attic room – very clean, spacious, and the view… breathtaking! Wi-Fi in the room, fridge, AC, a terrace with a small table and two chairs.

Pávakert is an excellent restaurant with a perfect location and outstanding service.

Pava Restaurant in Odorheiu Secuiesc is much more than just a place to eat — it’s a destination for gastronomy lovers seeking creativity, flavour, and a touch of elegance.

Balance between infrastructure created and maximum possible number of guests. Simple : care about each guest as individual/ person!

Very nice, cosy, clean and warm hotel, the room was very well designed and comfortable.

Fantastic view, nice service, tasty desert and drink.

All nice, clean rooms, pleasant pool, good restaurant, great atmosphere. There's sure free parking, and they even have a mini zoo. If you're lucky, you get to see a deer and a lama walking free. :)

One of the best places I stayed at! Totally recommend it! Rooms are super clean and spacious, staff (Mr and Mss) are very friendly and nice! Breakfast is good, location is good! No comments! ❤️

I had an excellent stay at the Diana hotel. The manager Christina runs this hotel with a master's hand. Her welcome is warm and her team is very, very professional and very, very friendly. Thank you.

We came at Geoagiu Bai for a holiday and stay at Hotel Diana, a hotel of ***. It is a wonderful experience for what we found here.

We are still in this beautiful hotel as I write. We have been here since Monday and we are still in awe of the hospitality and professionalism of the staff here.

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Crystal in Sovata and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to answer questions.

Amazing location, great design, very clean, professional host. Take the ciubar (outside bath) and sauna, it’s totally worth it.

I will always have amazing memories in this place!

Nice place with nice people,
The view is just fantastic, we booked a penthouse with glass walls all around and it was amazing to go to sleep with a lake view and wake up to a sunrise reflecting from

Beautiful location; if you’re visiting in winter, make sure your car has winter tires. The reception staff and cleaning ladies were very friendly.

We stayed 3 days in August 2024 at the Romantic Pension and we really liked it! The rooms are very large, bright, elegant furniture, very pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

I warmly recommend this guesthouse for its location, view, views, clean air, services and welcoming hosts. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean, and the furniture is new.

16.10.2022 basically might be a pearl — brandnew, beautiful and expensive boutique-hotel with its 12 rooms — design, spotless clean, coffeemat in room, 5*amendities, comfy bed, excellent

Spent weekend in Anthimos in June when our friends got married there. We had superb time. Rooms were spacious, nice and comfortable.

The hotel was very nice, absolutely amazing and helpful staff. The food was delicious. Nice outdoor seating by the large pool. Beautiful place to stay with family.

Wonderful place! Spacious rooms, super modern showers and rooms, great service, friendly staff, always someone available to talk to! The outside area is great! Lovely pool!
We can’t wait to be back!

Regarding the fact that the hotel is 3***, There are many good things about this hotel, the best of which is the excellent staff.   Among them — Rodica, Andrei, Marinela, I single them out for praise.

The entire experience was over the top! I want to commend the entire staff on making best of what they have, a rare thing I saw in Romania overall. Congrats!

The hotel is beautiful, all is new, the staff is kind and very well organized, the breakfast was delicious and is varied.

Beautiful hotel! The restaurant area is very elegant, the food was delicious.

Me and my partner absolutely love this hotel.
This was our second stay here, and once again we were blown away by the incredible customer service.

Excellent room with Serta mattresses that will allow you to sleep in few minutes. Bathroom is also great! Breakfast was excellent — Hilton quality!

Wonderful hotel and lovely people. I stayed at the hotel for almost a year and was pleasantly surprised with how at home I felt. The rooms were very comfortable and sleek.

We were passing through and stayed at the hotel for one night only. Staff were friendly and Elglish speaking. The room was warm and clean, and the beds were comfortable.

A beautiful and welcoming location.

Clean, friendly staff, spacious room, very nice for a weekend escape.
