Transylvania Hotels

My wife and I stayed at Boutique Damiani in August 2025 during a road trip through Romania, and it was hands-down the best hotel of our entire trip.

Wholeheartedly recommend this place! Everything here is spotless and clearly done with care, not just the bare minimum like in many other hotels.

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Sibiu. The bed was comfortable and the room was overall good. A lot of storage space. Excellent breakfast. It was possible to get gluten free bread.

My stay at this hotel was excellent from start to finish.

Clean NEW rooms, cause the hotel was redecorated recently. Decent to big rooms but small bathroom and no hooks. Unfortunately no balconies but a free parking if u come early enough.

My favorite hotel of a trip across Romania. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was the most comfortable I stayed in during my trip.

The room was pretty big, I did some light working out, the staff was very nice and kind to all of us.
The breakfast was also amazing, it had various foods to choose from, drinks, everything.

Picture this: relaxing in the jacuzzi with views of the valley and mountains from about 1, 300 meters up, then a few hours later climbing to a 1, 911 meter peak with the hotel's manager as your guide.

A superb guesthouse, quiet and well equipped room, sufficient bathroom (standard room) air conditioning, TV good for a movie in the evening, extraordinary inner courtyard, plus terrace and barbecue

Good price, good area, a place to park my moto. Good service, chill checkout 5/5

The location is excellent and the very good marks given by customers are not accidental. Hospitality, good vibe, cleanliness, scenery, all urge us to come back. We felt at home.

Everything is superlative… Such nice hosts, exceptionally clean location, kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you need… We felt exceptional and couldn't wait to come back!

Amazing food.
Very kind and amazing people.
If you want good food go here.

I arrived late at night from the mountains in rainy and cold October. I was lucky to choose this hotel. New, warm, clean, with perfect communication. Next time I am coming back for sure.

Big and clean.
Near to the town centre.
Everything in walking distance.

Very convenient location of the apartments, parking, 24 hours store, everything is nearby. Stunning view from the window! Cozy, clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Cosy and spacious room, close to the old center but a very quiet area. A pleasant experience, excellent hosts, I will definitely come back. 👍

Lovely hotel right in the heart of the city centre, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. The room was very spacious.

I have travelled a lot across Europe.
A few places I like as much as hotel Republique!
Excellent, cosy and charming hotel.
Excellent staff.
Excellent service.
Excellent atmosphere.

Our stay at Hotel Republique in Sibiu was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, modern, impeccably clean, and just a short walk from the Old Town, while still feeling quiet and relaxing.

Everything is modern and new. It is very clean and quiet.
. The staff is very kind and helpful. Sofia at the reception is Amazing.

The Hotel:
Craft Inn is a design masterpiece in the heart of Sibiu. The rooms are a perfect blend of historical charm and modern minimalism—incredibly cozy and impeccably clean.

We stayed for just one night, and everything was excellent. The hotel is clean, neat, and very modern. The bed was soft, with a large double mattress and high-quality linens.

Good location, near the old town. Accommodation, personnel, amenities, met our expectations. Recommended to everyone and definitely we'll come back in the future.

Spent two nights here. The price and location were great. Easy check in/out process. Room was nice and had good working AC. Breakfast was also very delicious.

We were happy with the service. The rooms were clean, the food was pretty good (not excellent, but good and plenty) they offered a 3 course dinner, and a buffet breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location — in the heart of Sibiu, everything is 5-10 minutes away. The rooms are also very cosy and well-equipped.

Terrific boutique hotel. It's located 10 minutes from the town center on a nice street in the old town. The room was good size, squeaky clean, tastefully furnished, with a small kitchenette.

This place is really great!
Very friendly staff, large and clean room, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom.
Free parking with charging station for electric vehicles (type 2 connector!

Really clean and cosy. Bus ride to city center or 20 minutes walk. Electric vehicle charging possible.

Very nice hotel that resembles of a small apartment with two rooms, one is a living room with fully equipped kitchen, and table.

Nice spacious rooms. Easy checkin process. Keep in mind that check in is only until 22.00.
Location is 15-20 minutes walking from old town.
Overall very good price for value.

Amazing place with the most friendly service.
I really enjoyed my stay and had a super comfortable room and nice breakfast in the morning!

I recommend this place to everyone. It's warm, cozy, and feels like home. It's a very pleasant and beautiful place. Great staff who are always willing to help you out. Delicious breakfast!

Beautiful place with pool, fresh air, nature around, amazing friendly staff.

Impeccable! I encourage you to find out for yourself. Very pleasantly impressed: modern, clean, quality services.

Located very close to the centre. The rooms are big. Bed was very comfortable. The linen was super fresh. The host was really nice. Self check-in in available.

Excellent location, very clean rooms, close to city centre. Staff were very communicative and helpful. Parking available which is a welcome bonus in Sibiu city centre.

An absolutely charming establishment run with care. The service was warm and welcoming. The rooms impecably clean. Great, quiet place to stay, within walking distance of centre. Loved it!

Absolutely amazing value for money, great location and very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast too!

The location is great, in a quiet setting but close to the local attractions. The mountain view from the room was particularly spectacular.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I miss it already! Extraordinary service and unforgettable experience! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere made me feel completely at ease.

If you're looking an escape/life reset/burnout solution, this is EXACTLY ehat you need!
This place has everything you want, even an open space rustic tub in the back of the yard.

A place full of soul where you can have a delightful stay, complemented with good food. I especially recommend the local cheeses and the sausages made by Cornel and the team.

Wonderful food, no matter when you go or what you're getting! Simply delicious! 😋

A well established hotel and restaurant in the proximity of Targu Mures. Clean room very cosy and nice looking. I’ve spent there two night together with my family. Kids were very happy here.

This is my second time in Oradea, and I’m staying with Anca again. 🥰 She is incredibly caring, friendly, and speaks excellent English.

I will come back just to visit them again. Thank you for everything. City was also so nice and you can get every information at the hostel.

Great room, lovely host, quiet place and perfectly located near the city center, 2-3 min walk to the parking garage.
Couldn't ask for more.

Super clean, great location, easy to find, well equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, linen inc bath towel and smaller towel, big lockers).

Great place to stay, very clean, really great kitchen. Good for short and long stays.
If it is fully booked, the two toilets (one female, one male) might be a bit of a bottleneck.

I was a bit apprehensive getting a hostel, especially one on the edge of town but I was pleasantly surprised.

Very large and very very clean room. The staff very friendly. I will definitely stop and sleep here again. Do not judge a book by it's cover. Pop in and you will be amazed by the spotless room.
