Good location, the room is big and the breakfast was very vero good, also the people serving the breakfast. I only had an issue with reception, I had to ask 2 days again and again to refill the hair conditioner please because it was totally empty since day one. They are nice but I think they just don't take any notes.
Also the stairs of the pool is about to fall off, be careful with that.

The hotel is located very close to the center and, obviously, to a variety of restaurants and terraces. The people at the reception are very nice, smiling and ready to help you if you have questions or need recommendations. The room was beautiful, spacious and the bathroom very large and intelligently compartmentalized. The breakfast was very good, the people in the restaurant being very attentive to help you in case you needed something. The SPA area is small but it is ok. The view from the SPA is beautiful. The rooms are well soundproofed, a big plus for this. I have been to several hotels in the last 2 weeks but here I slept by far the best! The hotel has its own private parking, with payment, a bit expensive, but still it is good that it exists :). Overall an excellent experience! On our next trip to Cluj, we will definitely stay here again!

Our second time at the hotel and the experience was as great as the first time.
Starting the check-in with a warm cookie is always going to be a great idea.
Rooms show theyre age but are big and with comfortable beds.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful on every interaction.
The real benefits are: the location-5 minute walk from both the park and the old city center plus the pool with an amazing view to relax after 15k steps.

We really enjoyed our week long stay in Cluj. The hotel is right next to Union Square in the hub of everything. The room was luxurious with an extra comfy bed, wonderful showers and a space for just hanging out. It rained during part of our stay here, but it didn't really bother us because the room was so airy and pleasant. We also enjoyed the pool and the gym.
The staff, especially Renee, Sameese and Ariadna were really helpful and kind and made us feel most welcome. (I hope I spelt the names correctly! )
All in all, highly recommended.

Really blown away by the quality of the Cluj Hilton. From the moment we got there we was made to feel welcome and treated with perfect customer service.
We arrived at 9am from the airport and didn't expect to get into our room till much later but they pulled a few strings and allowed us to access our room early. Not only that but we'd been upgraded to a stunning suite. We was heartbroken when we had to leave. Thank you Bogdan, you were amazing.
The breakfast staff need a special mention as well. They we always happy to accommodate our dietary requirements and served us with a smile. They brightened up our day with their great customer service and happy attitude. Especially Daniel, Noemi, Oana and chathu. Done the Hilton brand proud.
Already planning on coming back next year and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. If visiting Cluj this is the place to stay. 10/10.

This is the second time I am staying in the hotel back in 2023 and this year in July. It's our official home in Cluj since our company has a good partnership with Hilton Honors. They have the best and courteous staff, from the restaurant who serves us breakfast to the reception. Big thanks to Raluca for being patient with us for the key and for providing us a late checkout to attend to an important meeting. Very well recommended.

Renee at reception was incredibly kind and helpful — she has such a warm energy and a natural way of making guests feel welcome and cared for. Starting the day with her smile truly makes a difference, and check-out was super quick and done with such kindness.

Air conditioning didn’t work and mold in shower which is absolutely wild for a 5 star hotel. Can see others mentioning same issue in reviews up to 2 years ago.

The hotel has a very good location, close to the city center and the main square. The room is large, spacious, and clean. The staff is helpful. Parking is simple and well arranged. The breakfast staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The pool water is heated to 29°C. ”

We recently stayed at DoubleTree Cluj for two nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who provided clear and courteous guidance. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained.
During our stay, we visited the spa, where the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and the massage was both relaxing and rejuvenating. The gym, while compact, was never crowded, allowing for a private workout with a stunning city view. The pool is generously sized, making it ideal for swimmers, and the panoramic view of Cluj adds to the overall experience.
Breakfast was another highlight, offering a delicious and diverse selection of high-quality options. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations, and we would highly recommend DoubleTree Cluj to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

We were expecting more from a five star hotel. Deeply disappointed with our last experience. My husband and I stayed previously at this hotel few weeks ago and had some problems with the room temperature but we were hopping for improvement. This time we were complimentary upgraded to a king deluxe suite with jacuzzi. However, although we appreciated the gesture, the suite was not all that great. The old air conditioner in the bedroom made a loud noise and continued to make noise even when turned off. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were moving while stepping on them and the glass bathroom door did not offer the adequate privacy.
We asked for a late checkout when we booked the accommodation and we were informed that was granted. It was further confirmed at the time we checked in. However, the next day the cleaning person knocked on our door for minutes and when I opened the door she told me that we were supposed to leave the room. The do not disturbe sign was on the door but didn’t matter to het. I told her we were granted a late checkout and she told me that nobody told her. I called the front desk and a very rude man told me to get out of the room as there is nothing in their system that a late checkout was granted. However he changed his tune when I told him the name of the person who checked us in and he said ok to a late checkout. He was not nicer when we informed him that this is the last time we will use their hotel.

I would like to specifically mention Bogdan, Andrei, Marius, and Maria at the reception, who were extremely kind and professional, making me feel welcome. Additionally, I appreciate Denis and Rares from the restaurant for the delicious food and excellent service. Last but not least, Oana from breakfast was a true delight, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We had the baptism party in November 2024 and we are truly grateful for all the services. The food was very appreciated and delicious (menu and the candy bar), very nice and friendly people. We really recommend it for parties or just for relaxing.

I had a great experience there, I was greeted by a very helpful personnel, the reception teams, the breakfast team are well prepared and very helpful.
The room was super spacious, the cleaning impecable, stocked mini bar, the bed a bit hard but the fluffines of the pillows and covers made up for it.
The location has private parking and is close to a lot of interesting places to eat/drink/party etc.

It's a nice enough room, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in but there is a sticky out bit all around it that you bash your ankles on. Their attempt to look modern ends up being stark.
