Very nice place, warm, clean, remote and quiet. The final stretch of road is a bit offroadish and requiers carefull driving, but our average fron wheel drive car managed.

Lovely quiet location, next to the river and the owner is very generous and welcoming! Definitely you should try the local food "carne la gârniță" and visinata. Great value for price!

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at Mateo Transalpina! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Super nice place with well maintained property surrounded by flowers. Ecellent food starting with gulyas bean soup and steaks. The cabbage salad was outstanding.
