Good place to stay for one night 🌃
The hostess of the hotel is very friendly 🙂 I stayed one night at Casa Sofia. She immediately asked me when to bring breakfast and brought it at the proper time 🕰
Breakfast is good, rich — scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables, bread, butter, sausage, cheese, yoghurt 🍽
The room is clean, comfortable. The air conditioning works ❄ The room also has a fridge and TV, but I didn't check if they work.
At the time of my stay there was renovation work going on from early morning, it was a bit noisy, but not critical! It was quiet and peaceful at night — fortunately there is no busy motorway nearby.
No hot water in the room. I wanted to take a shower after the flight, but it wasn't possible to do 🚿
The sockets are in very bad condition. I had to make an effort to put the Powerbank on charge overnight.
No drinks served for breakfast unfortunately — neither hot nor cold. Good thing I had water and juice with me 🥤

I stayed with my mother for 5 nights at Casa Sofia in Bucharest during our trip through Romania – from Bucharest to Brașov and finally to Mamaia. The location of the pension is very convenient, close to the city center, and we had everything we needed for our stay.
What really stood out was the friendliness and dedication of Ioanna at the reception. She was extremely helpful, always available, and made sure every request was taken care of. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference during our time there. I also like to Highlight how delicious the freshly made omelet at breakfast was.
The only downside, and the reason I cannot give a full 5-star rating, was the air conditioning in our room. It was not strong enough, and during the hot summer days it sometimes felt like being in a sauna.
Overall, Casa Sofia is a good option for travelers on a smaller budget who want to explore Romania and its charm, especially if you spend most of your days out in the city. With its central location and the exceptional service from Ioanna, our stay was very enjoyable despite the minor issue.
