Grand Qatar Palace Cayam Hotel

I give one star only because I stayed in 509 room and this is what I got.
1 — There is no face towels even when I call they said we don’t have.
2 — TV not working when I asked they said tomorrow morning will send someone but no one come.
3 — loud sound coming from ac I could sleep.
4 — people keeping their food plates outside and stay for a long time till they collect.

I recently stayed at your property, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. During my stay:
• The lift was not functioning, which caused great inconvenience.
• The room had an unpleasant smell, making it uncomfortable to stay.
• Overall, the customer service was poor, and my concerns were not addressed properly.
I expected a much better standard from your hotel. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure a comfortable stay for future guests.

It is a nice and clean hotel with all the amenities working. If you are looking for a hotel where you can spend the night, it is a good and affordable option. I recommend using booking. Com or other booking services before hand to get the best deals.

The hotel is not good at all. I have a few things to tell you. Firstly, the pool is dirty, with pigeon feathers, and there is no gym or spa, as mentioned. The flushing device was faulty, and the air conditioning was also poor. The elevator was too slow, and two were broken. These were my problems. But the location is nice.

I just want to share my experience regarding the inconsistency in service and communication among the staff. I initially had a good and smooth conversation with one of the staff members — they were polite and clear about the policies. However, when I spoke to another staff member, the information and approach were completely different.
It’s frustrating that the policies seem to change depending on who you’re talking to. There should be a consistent and clear standard for all staff members to follow. Also, I found some of the staff to be not very friendly, which made the experience less pleasant.
I hope this can be addressed so that future customers won’t experience the same confusion and frustration.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel.
The room was in unacceptable condition from the moment I walked in.
• The carpet was covered in an unbelievable amount of dust and dirt. It was clearly very old and in such bad shape that I felt uncomfortable even walking on it.
• The walls were dirty, painted in strange colors, and literally deteriorating — parts of the wall were crumbling.
• When I opened the closet, it was filled with dust and unidentifiable debris. I couldn’t bring myself to even sit in the room.
• The mattress had a strange smell, the blanket felt suffocating, and even the curtain was dirty to the touch.
This room was completely unfit for a guest, and there are many better hotels in the same price range — far cleaner and more comfortable.
After seeing the condition of the room, I immediately went to the reception to cancel my booking and request a refund of 520 SAR.
Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my money back, and the hotel has been ignoring my follow-up messages.
This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Last night, our team from Grand Central Bakery & Kitchen visited the buffet at Cayam Hotel, and we were truly impressed. The atmosphere was warm, the service outstanding, and the food absolutely delicious. Great variety, excellent quality, and top-notch attention.
A wonderful experience we highly recommend and look forward to repeating!

Amazing hotel for the price point, will be coming back again.

1 — So they expect me to pay (100 riyal) because of candy on my fridge fees. You 🫵🏽 will not be able to check in if you did not pay it. I had to call the police 👮🏽‍♂️ on them so she could let me in, and we agreed on removing the unhealthy snakes. You could be flying or driving from a distance, and you had to deal with stupid drama like this. 🚩
2 — There is only 1 elevator working 🤦🏽‍♂️.
3 — The place looks older than my great-grandmother…

It’s really disappointing. The hotel is less than two stars. At the beginning they refused to find a room for us because we were late for about 30 mins and told us to sleep in the streets though we are two girls and we had a booking! Then the hotel’s facilities were extremely old they even cut off the electricity once. The toilets flood easily and they don’t have a heating AC we were shivering! The manager is never there I asked to see him many times.
IT IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Don’t try it.

If it is for free, I will never go there again!
Too much safety and hygiene violations in this place.
The 3 elevators are frequently down (all of them), yes, you’ll have to take the stairs.

The hotel is good but needs to renew the furniture. The location is excellent, close to Souq Waqif, Msheireb and the metro station. I got a room on the first day and I was not satisfied. I talked to the reception and they helped me and solved the problem. The employees are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied. There are several options. The restaurant workers are friendly.
Personally I liked the hotel the staff are friendly and helpful.

Mixed Experience at Cayam Hotel.
I recently stayed at the Cayam Hotel for 2 nights, and while the staff were excellent, the rooms left much to be desired.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. They truly made an effort to make my stay comfortable.
However, the rooms were a different story. The decor and amenities were very outdated, and the floors were noticeably imbalanced. There was also a persistent weird smell that was quite unpleasant.
Given the price I paid (2600 riyals for a 2-night stay), I expected a much higher standard of accommodation. While the staff did their best, the hotel's infrastructure and maintenance are in dire need of upgrading.
If the Cayam Hotel invests in renovating their rooms and addressing the maintenance issues, they could potentially offer a much better experience for their guests.
Until then, I would caution travelers to temper their expectations, especially given the premium prices.

Fantastic Experience at Falcon Hall, Cayam Hotel!
We recently booked Falcon Hall on the 4th of October, and it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Special mention to the staff, especially Jeffry and Akhtar (the Tamil-speaking gentleman), who provided outstanding service throughout the event. Their professionalism and attention to detail really made the day perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to host our event. Highly recommend Falcon Hall for any occasion! "

I was there last week, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life, I was planning a vacation and staying a week, I found myself leaving the next day, reception service 0, I asked the employee for a second card key for the room because we were for two, she replied with a no "Rejection", faded floor, old TV, they don't even provide water service you have to order it from the restaurant, worst hotel.

Had a terrible experienced in this hotel. The elevator was not safe, it stops and then suddenly shut down. We got stocked up inside for a few minutes and we also lost air and almost got suffocated. My son was traumatized w/ that experience and didn't want to use your elevator so right after our dinner we just use the stairs from 9th floor going down to the ground floor. I wish you will prioritize to fix this for the safety of your guest and staffs. Please do not wait for something worst happen to fix it.
